Dear Lybrateuser, - Do follow the advise of your cardiologist as he is the best person to diagnose & treat your problem after knowing the overall picture - you have to be monitored regularly for your cardiac status if you have to survive on medication & surgery is not advisable - lead a heart healthy lifestyle which includes a well balanced diet with more of fruits & vegetables, do regular exercise for 30-40 min including light yoga & meditation for 10-15 min daily in the morning - have a restful sleep for 7-8 hrs at night as its the best stress buster for the body - take your medication on time, get regular checkups & follow your doctors advise.

Go for meditation to reduce stress in order to nourish your body conditioning the heart inorder to regularise your heart beat. Tk, plenty of water ro hydrate your body. Your diet be easily digestible on time to avoid gastric disorder that triggers BP & raised heart rate. All sorts of anti hypertensive medication be monitored. I am suffering from high bp problem. And I also feeling tired always. What can I do for getting energetic.
High BP can lead to fatigue. It is better for you to also do a complete blood count to check anemic state. Once a better information is there on your health state, your medications can be planned which will be more effective and helpful. Do remember, the first trigger of BP increase is bad diet, no exercise and stress. So it is essential that along with some medication, you begin to improve your lifestyle for any lasting relief and to ensure the matter does not develop into any further problem. At your age, it is possible t keep it under check and not depend on medications all life. But it is in your hands to do this dedicatly.

Hi Body excretes these medications slowly over 12-24 hours. You need to understand hypertension Normal range of blood pressure is between 90/60 to 140/90, anything above or below is is abnormal. Many factors can affect blood pressure, including: 1) The amount of water and salt you have in your body 2) The condition of your kidneys, nervous system, or blood vessels 3) Your hormone levels You are more likely to be told your blood pressure is too high as you get older. This is because your blood vessels become stiffer as you age. When that happens, your blood pressure goes up. High blood pressure increases your chance of having a stroke, heart attack, heart failure, kidney disease, or early death. DASH stands for Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension. It is an eating plan that is based on research studies sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI). These studies showed that DASH lowers high blood pressure and improves levels of cholesterol. This reduces your risk of getting heart disease. The DASH Diet Emphasizes vegetables, fruits, and fat-free or low-fat dairy products. Includes whole grains, fish, poultry, beans, seeds, nuts, and vegetable oils. Limits sodium, sweets, sugary beverages, and red meats. Along with DASH, other lifestyle changes can help lower your blood pressure. They include staying at a healthy weight, exercising, and not smoking. I read your query, by the information I have in hand my advice to you would be 1) Keep a BP daily record for at least one week 2) Basic tests should be one to rule out cardiac / kidney issues 3) unless any recent evaluation has been done I would advice these test ECG ECHO Lipid Profile TSH KFT  Renal doppler  Get back to me with a detailed history and  old / new records for a better individualized advice. How to control hypertension and please suggest some food and meditation which can lower the high bp.

How to control hypertension and please suggest some food and meditation which can lower the high bp.
Hi, Take Rauvolfia 1x, 2 tabs daily morning empty stomach. Drink plenty of liquids and cut down your fat, salt and sugar intake. go for a morning walk daily at least for 30 minutes. Take a sound sleep and try to avoid anger. Home remedies to Control high BP:-1. Bananas are one fruit that people with high blood pressure can eat regularly to control it. Bananas are a rich source of potassium, which lessens the effect of sodium. So, try to eat one or two bananas daily. Along with bananas, you can try dried apricots, raisins, orange juice, spinach, baked sweet potatoes. 2. Eat one or two crushed garlic cloves daily. You can simply crush them with your hands. Crushing garlic cloves creates hydrogen sulfide, a compound that promotes good blood flow, removes gas and reduces the pressure on the heart. If you do not like eating raw garlic or if it causes a burning sensation, then take it along with a cup of milk. You can also mix five or six drops of garlic juice in four teaspoons of water and take it twice a day. Revert me after 15 days.

How can I treat coronary heart disease naturally and increase blood flow to the heart.

Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, MBBS
General Physician, Delhi
How can I treat coronary heart disease naturally and increase blood flow to the heart.
Heart muscles have lots of blood vessels lying low and they are called collaterals, they open up and start functioning to increase the blood flow to heart in case one or more of the vessels is blocked partially but there are no symptoms of angina/ heart attack. Natural ways are moderate exercise, no smoking, no exposure to pollution, fresh oxygen through plants, less stress and as I can read, you are taking a heart protective medicine called beta blocker, this too relaxes blood vessels of heart to increase blood supply. Continue all of the above but do get checked for blockages.
