Hello sir, based on the short description it would be difficult for me to help you determine whether the cause of the pain is cardiac or not. Considering the history of bypass surgery, it's best to rule cardiac cause of pain. It's always better to find the cause and than treat the same. No particular precaution to be taken, except continuation of medicine prescribed and an active lifestyle with healthy diet. For finding the cause: if you are physically active, a treadmill stress test would be the best choice. If not a stress echocardiography should be a reasonable alternative. The above test should be particularly done if the chest pain occurs when you exert (being tense is a mental exertion) climb stairs and if there is associated breathlessness. Hello lybrate-user. Chest pain is quite common after prolonged episode of cough due to exhaustion of chest muscles. Best home remedy is to have steam inhalation 2 times daily. And if you still suffering from dry cough you can consult me for specific medications.

For your headache get your eyes checked. If found to have defective vision take correction glassess. If you are operating computer, learn the technique of how relax the eyes in looking at the monitor. For the time being you can take a tablet of paracetamol 500 mg two times a day depending on the severity. If you have accompanying cold, sneezes, cough etc. You need to take an antihistamine. Not able to sleep will not be due to thyroid problem, but it can be due to the head ache or your thought process. If you are continuously dwelling on things or happenings of the day you will not get sleep. So take tablet for head ache and stop your thought process and try to relax your brain so that it can go to sleep. As for thyroid, get thyroid profile test done to assess the sufficiency of the strength of thyroxine tablet, basing the result adjust the dose. Good luck.

Dear lybrate user, kindly note that if you are unmarried & indulge in sexual relation after an interval of minimum 7 days then you are bound to discharge quickly during intercourse but that does not imply that you have any disease. It occurs due to loss of control of the muscles of penis. Normally it is seen that when a person does sexual intercourse daily he gains control over the muscles of penis & can stay longer during sex. You can try allopathic dejac-t tablet for your problem of premature ejaculation. Take one tablet just one hour before sex. If you cannot find dejac-t in your local allopathic retail shop then search for any medicine containing dapoxetine hydrochloride & tadalafil as its composition. But before taking any medicine kindly notice whether you are having a second erection within 15 minutes of ejaculation for the first time. If you are not experiencing any erection within 15 minutes of ejaculation then you are surely suffering from erectile dysfunction. There will be a change of medication in this case. To get rid of erectile dysfunction you could try ayurvedic gerivit forte capsule. Take one capsule just one hour before sex. Along with medicines you can also try a home therapy to boost your sexual performance. Soak 4-5 dry dates (khurma khajur) in a cup of lukewarm milk before going to bed daily. On waking up next morning eat those soaked dry dates & discard the milk. Repeat the process daily. This therapy often gives effective result within 15 days there are many conventional allopathic sexual pills in market such as adegra, viagra, penegra etc. Refrain yourself from using such pills as those pills contain a steroid called sildenafil. This steroid has a unique temporary effect on erectile problems. Patients using these pills for first time often report that their penis remain strong even after ejaculation. Such effects leads the patients to use sildenafil for prolonged course of time as they often feel that a full erection is possible only after taking sildenafil. Moreover it is very low cost & easy availability of this steroid has made it quite common as sexual medicine. But the bitter truth is prolonged use of sildenafil will permanently disable the normal physiological process behind erection & will render your body to become solely dependent upon sildenafil for erection. As a result you won't feel any slightest normal erection without taking sildenafil. This is an irreversible condition & it cannot be treated by any means. Once you attain this condition you become a life-time customer of that steroid sildenafil because you have to take sildenafil in order to satisfy your partner. As prevention is always better than cure I would advise you to check the composition of any sexual pills before buying. Discard any sexual pills which contains sildenafil in its composition. There are other compositions like tadalafil, citadel etc which gives unique result than sildenafil. If you are suffering from premature ejaculation then along with medicine & home therapy you can try the kegel's exercise. You have to do this exercise once daily during the first time of urination after waking up from sleep at morning. Kindly note the following steps to perform the kegel's exercise:- 1) start urinating until you feel that you have voided almost half amount of urine from bladder. 2) when you feel you have voided almost half of the urine try to stop the flow of urine by squeezing the internal muscles of penis. 3) you should not use your hands to stop the flow. Your hands should be resting on your waist. You have to stop the urine only by your self control over the internal muscles of penis. 4) try to stop the urine flow by the control of internal muscles up to 20 seconds. On the very first day you won't be able to hold the urine for more than 3 seconds. However, practicing the exercise daily will improve your control over the muscles of penis & after 15-20 days you will be able to stop the urine for 20 seconds by the control of your pelvic muscles. This control of pelvic muscles will help you to get rid of premature ejaculation while you are performing sexual intercourse 5) after 20 seconds is over, void the rest of the urine. Do not stop the flow of urine for more than 30 seconds. N. P.- kegel's exercise is effective only in the case of premature ejaculation & it is not helpful for patients suffering from erectile dysfunction.

Oil one teaspoon of fenugreek seeds in two cups of water. Strain and drink it after adding a little honey to it. Another option is to consume one teaspoon of fenugreek seed powder along with milk. Alternatively, you can boil one cup of fenugreek leaves, add a little honey, and eat it twice a day. Drink a few cups of fresh coconut milk or tender coconut water daily. Also, eat the kernel of the tender coconut. Follow this treatment for at least one week to get positive results. Alternatively, take one tablespoon of coconut oil in the morning and another at night for one week. As coconut oil is mainly composed of medium-chain fatty acids, it can be easily digested.

Mr. Lybrate-user, there is nothing wrong in liking sweets and even eating them. Diabetes does not coe because of eating sweets, but due to deficiency of insulin or resistance to its action or both, particularly in t2 diabetes. T1 diabetes occurs in those whose pancreas (beta cells) do not produce any insulin. One needs to be more careful if parent have t2 dm, as chances of getting diabetes increase very much. Few things need to be done to prevent getting t2 dm like: regular exercise daily for more than 1 hour, maintaining normal weight, consuming healthy diet, more green leafy vegetables, salads and fruits. Avoiding deep fried foods, junk foods, aerated sweetened drinks, fructose corn syrup containing products, highly processed foods, high fat milk products. Also refraining from alcohol and smoking. Basically maintaing a healthy lifestyle is necessary.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Your problem is due to acidity & anxiety, do not worry at your age it is unlikely a heart problem - follow some precautions, do not skip meals, have meals on time have 4-5 small meals including snacks rather than three large meals, chew your food well, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime - avoid spicy, fried, junk food, reduce intake of tea, coffee to 1-2 cups a day, avoid aerated drinks - have 7-8 glasses of water for proper hydration - do regular exercise like walking, jogging for 10-15 min, also do yoga, deep breathing for 10-15 min daily - sleep well for 7-8 hrs at night.
