Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. Treating leg pain at home

You can usually treat leg pain at home if it's due to cramps or a minor injury. Try the following home treatments when your leg pain is from muscle cramps, fatigue, or overuse:

  • Rest your leg as much as possible, and elevate your leg with pillows.
  • Take an over-the-counter pain reliever, such as aspirin or ibuprofen, to help ease discomfort as your leg heals.
  • Wear compression socks or stockings with support.
  • Apply ice

Apply ice to the affected area of your leg at least four times per day. You can do this even more frequently in the first few days after the pain appears. You can leave the ice on for as long as 15 minutes at a time.

Take a warm bath and stretch

Take a warm bath, and then gently stretch your muscles. If you have pain in the lower part of your leg, try pointing and straightening your toes when sitting or standing. If you have pain in the upper part of your leg, try to bend over and touch your toes. You can do this while sitting on the ground or standing up. Ease into each stretch, holding each position for five to 10 seconds. Stop stretching if your pain gets worse.

Preventing leg pain

You should always take time to stretch your muscles before and after exercising to prevent leg pain due to physical activity. It's also helpful to eat foods that are high in potassium, such as bananas and chicken, to help prevent injuries of the leg muscles and tendons.

You can help prevent medical conditions that may cause nerve damage in the legs by doing the following:

  • Exercise for 30 minutes per day, five days per week.
  • Maintain a healthy weight.
  • Avoid smoking.
  • Monitor your cholesterol and blood pressure, and take steps to keep them under control.
  • Limit your alcohol consumption to one drink per day if you're a woman or two drinks per day if you're a man.
  • Talk to your doctor about other ways to prevent the specific cause of your leg pain.

Go for spnography might be kidney stone. If you don't have than take R compound tablet 2 after lunch end 2 after dinner. Massaje miostol oil on painful area two times. Avoid tomato end spanish in vegitabales.

Hello you are suffering from the back pain caused by long continuous sitting posture and sedentary life style. you are advised to take 10 minutes break after every 2 hour sitting.Start a morning walk for at least 30 minutes.Regular walking is also very helpful as it is a wholesome exercise of the body, improves blood circulation and helps lose weight.Try to maintain a correct sitting posture. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take BioD3 Max 1 tab dailyx10 Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x5days Do back(spine)/shoulder/knee exercises Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take Do not ignore it. It may have to be further investigated. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4_5 days,then contact me again. Contact your family doctor or nearest hospital for emergency help.

Preeti what are you looking for? fracture is an emergency. Do what your doctor is advising. There are no options. Don't try anything like ayurveda or homeopathy. Just proceed for surgery. Physiotherapy may give relief but malfusion will give a lifelong complication.

Hi if there is full thickness tear you may have to go for surgery. You can also start physiotherapy treatment to relieve pain and inflammation. Use elbow splint to avoid movement.

Hi, by regular physiotherapy frozen shoulder can be treated. Need to identify the tight muscle and to be stretched meanwhile also need to strengthen the weakend muscles around the shoulder complex. Manual therapy treatment need to be administered appropriately. Tapping also need to be done. Posture correction to be done if noted.

I am suffering from pain in my upper outer arm and the pain is severe when I do work in some positions. Please sugest treatment for the same.

If you have localized pain with no s/s of any inflammation or infection like swelling, skin redness, local warmth on touch etc, I will advise you to start with: - intensive physical therapy initially under supervision of a physical therapist and then at home - you can take short course of anti inflammatory medication like tab etoshine on sos basis especially when there is an episode of pain, swelling etc. - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application like dynapar qps spray can be used and is easily available. We will observe you for a period of around 10-14 days, and if your symptoms are not subsiding, then I will advise you some investigations. Take some rest, avoid prolong standing, running, hot fomentation, gentle active stretching of quadriceps, hams. Please notice if you feel frequent pain in back too or wt portion of thigh is aching.

Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Swing 20 times morning and evenings. Go for a regular walk. Also control your weight properly to bring down the pain.

1. Get full body blood test done 2. Start with Physiotherapy treatment 3. Learn exercise from Physiotherapist 4. Do sit on floor 5. Don't lift heavy things 6. Don't do forward bending 7. Do hot fermentation twice a day 8. Apply volini cream before sleeping 9. Wear knee cap if pain in knee Joint 10. Wear Lumber spine belt if pain in spine 11. Take calcium vitamin D 3 and Methylcobalmine supplement for one month minimum.
