Diet restrictions: for most situations, common sense will tell you what to avoid. Hard, sticky, chewy, and brittle foods and foods high in sugar must be avoided. Hard and brittle foods can break or damage wires and brackets. Broken brackets lead to delays in your treatment progress. Sticky and chewy foods can get caught between brackets and wires. Minimize sugary foods; they cause tooth decay and related problems. Nail/cuticle biting, pencil and pen chewing and chewing on foreign objects should be avoided. Avoid these foods - bubble gum (sugar-free gum is okay), sticky candy, nuts, popcorn, hard breads crust/rolls, pizza crust, apples and carrots (unless cut into small pieces or shredded), minimize sugary foods like: cake ice cream cookies candy try to avoid: soda sweetened tea any drinks with excess sugar.

Hello All, I am having a abdominal pain since last 2 year. It get started when I relocate to new city. Initially I consulted regular general doctors and found that it is due to food and acidity. I started taking medicine for same. But after more than 1 year the pain was still there so I consulted Gastroenterology in reputed corporate hospital. I had gone trough Blood Test, USG and endoscopy investigation. Blood and USG report are normal but found following in endoscopy report. Indication: Epigastric Pain Stomach: Normal, Pyloric stenosis, Scope could not be negotiated. Partially relieved with anti-spasmodic and scope could be passed through. Diagnosis: Pyloric stenosis with spasm Doctor prescribed following medicine in his first follow up. Pantocid - Before BF Rekoot 20 mg - Before dinner In initially stage I felt somewhat better but still the pain was there, The pain is on just right side of liver and I feel like stomach is like gas balloon. There are lots of gastric in stomach and I need to release it via mouth in every 1 hour even if I drink water too. I am having lots of difficulty in bowel habit. I am having irregular bowel habits and it is not like constipation but I am not getting feel for bowel. It needs extensive force and yet no luck. Every two-three days I am having somewhat amount of stool and then it feels good but still have pain in empty stomach. I feel heat near about liver and it's like heart burn, it is for around 2-3 hours after stool release or food intake. I do not feel like vomit and I am taking regular food on time. Lots of vegetables, juice and rice. I am running around 5 KM per day. Also I started taking common Ayurveda gastric medicine like Harde churna. I am requesting you to please help me on this situation and suggest. Because I am tired of taking medicine from last 12 month and not having enough relief. Also I worried about the side effect of medicine I am taking. Currently I am taking following medicine. Adiza 10 mg before BF Eldicet after BF and Dinner PEGRED POWDER at bed time. Note: Suggestion from gastroenterology, Homeopathic and Ayurveda doctors are recommended. Thanking you in advance.
