Try this for joint pains try this. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

it is a sharp injury to median nerve. Injury is an act that causes someone or something to receive physical damage, which can be classified on various bases. Classification : By cause : -Traumatic injury, a body wound or shock produced by sudden physical injury, as from violence or accident. – Other injuries from external physical causes, such as radiation injury, burn injury or frostbite. – Injury from infection. – Injury from toxin or pharmaceutical drug. – Metabolic injury. – Complications of diabetes due to hyperglycemia. – Complications of lysosomal and glycogen storage diseases. – Injury due to autoimmunity. – Injury due to cancer. – Injury secondary to any other disease. By location : -Wound, an injury in which skin is torn -Open wound, cut or punctured -Closed wound where blunt force trauma causes a contusion -Brain injury -Spinal cord injury -Nerve injury -Soft tissue injury -Cell damage, including direct DNA damage As you see, injury is a very broad word and covers various types of derangements. In this article Ii will restrict myself only to traumatic injuries excluding the causes like radiation, burn, frostbite etc. which I will cover in my next articles. Homeopathic Treatment : In homeopathy, selection of remedy depends on the cause, location and specific symptoms of the patient with injury. It should always be kept in mind that homeopathic remedies are highly curative when administrated in high/medium potencies in single doses. If there is a gross pathological derangement already present and the patient is too weak, then lower potencies should be considered for use in split dose. yyou knoe it well, that your treatment needs special concern. try homoepathy....

Slipped Disc - 4 Ways to Treat it!

Slipped Disc - 4 Ways to Treat it!

Are you prone to Slipped disc problem? + the ideal way to treat it.

A slipped disc, also known as a prolapsed disc or herniated disc, is the term given to the phenomenon that occurs when a cartilaginous disc found between the vertebrae in the spine becomes slightly displaced or protrudes, thereby pressing on the nerves in the adjacent areas and causing back pain

This happens when the soft inner part of the disc, known as nucleus pulposus, bulges out through a weakness in the exterior part of the disc. A prolapsed disc usually occurs in the lower region of the spine and can be of varying sizes. There might even be the development of inflammation around the disc in some cases.

Who is likely to get affected?
Most cases of herniated disc occur in patients between the ages of 30 and 50. The number of men affected is twice as many as the number of women. Although the root cause of this problem is not yet known, there are a number of factors that may trigger it. These factors include working at a job that requires a lot of lifting, an occupation that involves remaining in a seated position for a long time, weight-bearing sports, obesity, smoking habits and increasing age.

Effective ways of treating the problem
The different methods that are commonly used to treat the problem are:

  1. Medications - There are many different kinds of medicines that are effective in providing relief. These include painkillers, muscles relaxants, anti-inflammatory pills, etc.
  2. Spinal (Epidural) injections - A number of spinal injections are used to treat slipped discs. The injection is done in operation theatre under X-Ray imaging to find exact level of disc bulge. The injection consists of drug mixture of local anaesthetic and steroid. The injection is done at the opening where the inflamed nerve roots are found and reduces pain, swelling and irritation in the area.
  3. Radiofrequency ablation - This procedure makes use of an electrical current produced by radio waves to reduced pain and sensitivity in the affected area.
  4. Ozone discectomy - As opposed to the surgical removal of the prolapsed disc, this new process makes use of an ozone-oxygen mixture that is injected into the spine to treat the problem. Many international studies have proved its superiority to traditional methods and surgeries.

Those affected by this problem are advised to keep exercising and continuing with their everyday activities as best as possible. After any of the above treatment methods a regular spine and core strengthening regime is to be followed. Immediate surgical intervention may be needed in acute cases of disc prolapse causing nerve compression with neurological deficits like leg weakness or loss of control over urine and stools. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a pain management specialist.
