HI, Got x ray done. No heel spur. No degeneration. Still pain persists in heels I feel pain whenever I walk. Got sketchers shoes. Some relief. Please suggest. Shoud I do contrast bath or cold packs? And other treatment.

Heel Pain:Get treated with Ultrasonic therapy which would directly heal the calcaneal spur (inflammation of the calcaneum bone) which causes the heel pain in majority of the cases. Along with ultrasonic therapy, shortwave diathermy also can be given. Simultaneously it is better to wear MCR chappals (micro cellular rubber) which will help to transfer the weight evenly in the feet so that the weight will be completely felt in the heel area. Simultaneously it is better to wear MCR chappals (micro cellular rubber) which will help to transfer the Plantar Fascitis weight evenly in the feet so that the weight will be completely felt in the heel area. You shall do contrast bath to relieve this pain. Contrast bath is nothing but keeping in one tub hot water (bearable heat) and in another tub cold water Ask your father to apply ice in the painful area which would definitely help to greater extent. If still the pain persists then it is better to keep TENS stimulation at one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics.

Hi you must consult to a good physiotherapist. There could be some nerve getting compressed from the neck which is giving pain in the arm. Muscle like trapezeus may be harbouring trigger points. Physiotherapist will release the trigger point and help you to abolish the pain and teach you some exercises that has to be done by you.

Hello lybrate user, - you can do oil application and hot fomentation to relive from that physical stress instead of any oral pain killers - opt oils like dhanwantara taila or ksheerabala taila and take hot water bath or else you can take abhyanga in panchakarma treatment center. Thank you.

1. Take one tablet of crocin pain relief sos after food upto a maximum of 3 tablets daily 2. Apply volini gel twice daily 3. Give warm compress locally 4. Take rest if you have recurrent attack of neck pain a) take x ray/mri cervical spine to exclude spondylitis and consult orthopedic specialist b) sometimes it could be due to bad sitting posture while reading or working on computer. Adopt proper sitting posture, put neck rest, use soft pillow while sleeping c) do physio therapy and neck exercise after consulting physiotherapist.

She was delivered 9 months back and her feet and below feet is fully cracked and pain ful for her she does every work of kitchen and she often cleans utensils staying in water so her feet is getting worst day by day please suggest any solution for her problem.

She can use vaseline cream and Must not use soap or detergent on her feet and need to apply coconut oil very frequently . The problem is by cleaning utensils but we cannot avoid it and the practical way is to do as I said and inform me

I am having pain in both my knees while running or doing exercise at gym like doing treadmill or cross leg and Even very light form of exercise. Also when I start walking after sitting anytime in a day for first few minutes I feel like my knees having stiffness and they are not able to move. And sometimes I feel sound from knees when I do sit-ups and it becomes really painful for me to do exercise should I consulted with doctor. That might be due to knee pain or it might be due to ankle pain. Our suggestion would be to do hot water fermentation along with Cold (ice) therapy. You shall also keep a pillow under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes. Specific knee exercises will also help ie. Keeping ball underneath the knee and keep pressing it. That's the simple exercise which will help you to strengthen the knee Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. If you have ACL injury i think it is best to get it reconstructed Arthroscopically to prevent joint degeneration and maintain stability of joint.
