Basic Life Support (B.L.S), Doctor of Medicine
General Physician,
Seems like you live a very healthy lifestyle. But 91 kgs for 5'1 is over weight. If that's all muscle then I should assume you are on lots of protein rich diet. Which if is true then possible lots of protein in diet could be causing you bloating sensation thus the heaviness and urge to pass stools. If all of it wrong then you need to describe your irregular bowel habits in detail for specific treatment. Feel free to get back for the same. Wish you good luck. Take care.

Hi lybrate-user. You have to follow some basic things so that you get better results in a short period of time. 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day 2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals …. 3) don’t drink water before meal for one hour and one hour after meal… 4) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods…. 5) avoid late night sleeping habits … 6) avoid coffee and tea. A) take 40 ml of AUDUMBARAVLEHA before meals along with 30 ml of water. B) take 2-2 tablets of sanjivani vati and kanaksundar rasa after meals do all things for 3 days. Gives you good result. THANKS.

Fennel seeds can give you relief from other indigestion symptoms like gas and bloating, too. •Add one teaspoon of crushed fennel seeds to a cup of hot water and let it steep for eight to 10 minutes. Remove from heat, allow it to cool and strain it. Add a little honey and drink it slowly.

Thanks for sharing your problem through Lybrate. You might be suffering from Chronic Fissure with Sentinel Tag. Avoid long time sitting. Take Sitz bath twice with lukewarm water. Eat leafy vegetables and salads. Drink plenty of water. Take some herbal laxative. You will definitely get relief in above symptoms. But if the symptoms recur you may go for fissurectomy with lateral sphyncterotomy. You are free to consult me through online consultation.

I have blood in my stool and it pains while excreting since past week. What should I do and who should I consult?

BHMS
Homeopath, Raebareli
Please note that you are having piles. The first home treatment for piles that is highly recommended is ice. Ice will help constrict the blood vessels, reduce swelling and give you immediate pain relief. •Apply an icepack or a partially melted piece of ice wrapped in a cloth directly on the affected area for about 10 minutes. Do this several times a day until the hemorrhoid goes away. •You can even use a small pack of frozen vegetables such as peas or corn. Wrap the pack in a tea towel and then apply it on the hemorrhoid. Do this for 20 minutes at a time, three times a day. Take Nux vom 30 – twice daily for next 10 days and report back for further treatment.
