Hello lybrate user- this will add to your surprise that according to ayurveda green leafy vegetables are not good for digestion. Contrary to allopathic thinking which promotes the use due to high iron content, in indian conditions excess use of leafy vegetables can cause, indigestion, acidity, diarrhea, kidney stone, worm infestation, dysentery, and even can lead to heart attack too with pre supported conditions. Follow this routine to make your stomach feel better- a) avoid excess water (not more than 2 lts per day) intake as it can cause indigestion by diluting gastric juices. B) fix your meal timings and take evening meals before 8 pm. C) avoid spicy diet and over eating. D) avoid late night workout (go to bed before 10: 30) e) use amlapitta mishran 2 tsp twice daily before meals.

Acute diarrhea is a disorder which leads to a person passing a number of watery stools. It may be accompanied by cramping pain in the abdomen and at times fever too. Food and water-borne bacteria, parasites and viruses cause such problems. Rapid loss of water in the form of watery stool can cause a situation known as dehydration which can disrupt the normal functioning of the body. Along with it, the essential salts (electrolytes) of the body are also lost. While the oral rehydration salts and fluids significantly reduce fatalities from dehydration, they do not treat the underlying infection that is causing diarrhoea. Homeopathic medicines Veratrum Album, Arsenic Album, Podophyllum lead the homeopathic table for treating diarrhoeas and provide quick relief to patients by eliminating the infection. You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance

In view of your age both conditions are possible, get psa test done in lab if it is normal you can safely presume to be free from cancer prostate. Get also prostatic fluid examined for culture/ sensitivity and use appropriate antibiotics. My suggestion is to see a qualified urologist at the earliest.

My anal rim has become rigid. It also has small swellings. It used to come and go. But these days it's been for a long time and it has really become painful for me to go to toilet. I need a permanent solution for this problem.

It appears to be prolapse pile or fissure with sentinel pile or a combination of both. A general surgeon must examine you to arrive at the correct diagnosis & plan treatment, which may include the option of surgery. The general measures I would suggest are 1. Take lot of vegetables & fruits in your diet 2. Avoid chillies & spices 3. Take lot of fluids 4. Avoid constipation 5 periodically do anal exercises (alternately contracting & relaxing the buttocks, anal area & upper thighs) 6. Take sitz bath 3-4 times a day. This means sitting in a tub of warm water & doing anal exercises 7. Atleast once get it examined by a general surgeon.

Suggest me some medicine for grade one fatty liver, my age is 23. Also the prevention?

General Physician,
Suggest me some medicine for grade one fatty liver, my age is 23. Also the prevention?
Grade one fatty liver is commonly seen and no specific medicine is needed .There is no standardized treatment for fatty liver. Treating the underlying cause can easily reverse the abnormal changes in the liver, provided, it is early in the disease. Some common measures that improve fatty liver are: Exercise and weight loss programs: Obese patients have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or more. A realistic weight loss program should try reducing the BMI by two units of the existing one. Aerobic exercises are best suited to burn off fat. However, one should bear in mind that for long term success, it is not the intensity of the workout, but the sustenance that matters.Control cholesterol levels.: Besides regular workouts, a healthy approach to avoid consumption of saturated fats in diet can reverse fatty liver. Cholesterol lowering medications used in adjunct to exercise can reverse fatty liver.Control Diabetes: Effective management of sugar levels with life-style changes, medications and insulin can stop further advancement of fatty liver into something serious like cirrhosis or liver failure.Avoid harmful substances.: Certain drugs, alcohol, junk foods etc. are better avoided when once diagnosed with fatty liver. Talk to your doctor regarding medications that can cause fatty liver. Chances are he can suggest better alternatives.
