Effective Remedies To Treat An Overactive Bladder!

Effective Remedies To Treat An Overactive Bladder!

Overactive bladder, also known as OAB, is a condition where sudden involuntary contractions of the urinary bladder's muscular walls cause bladder storage dysfunction. It leads to sudden and frequent urges to urinate (urinary urgency), as well as unintentional leakage or urine (urinary incontinence).

This is a condition that affects both men and women and causes tremendous discomfort in nearly every aspect of daily life. The specific causes of OAB vary from case to case but it is generally attributed to infection of the urinary tract or dysfunction of the nervous system. The symptoms are intensified by unhealthy lifestyle choices such as overindulging in caffeinated drinks, spicy foods, and alcohol.

There are several ways in which you can deal with the problem of OAB, depending on the nature of the case. It is necessary for you to consult a urologist for a detailed diagnosis to formulate the best treatment option.

Following are the most effective remedies to treat an overactive bladder:

1. Lifestyle Modifications - Also known as behavioral therapy, this is the first step in the treatment of OAB. It involves inculcating simple changes into everyday habits such as avoiding food and drinks that irritate the bladder, scheduling (and in some cases, practice delaying) bathroom visits, exercising the pelvic floor and bladder muscles, keeping a record of urinating habits in a 'bladder diary' for better understanding the problem, etc. You can incorporate these habits into everyday activities for an easy alleviation of the problem with absolutely no side effects.

2. Medication and SurgeryThere are several different kinds of medicines and drugs that can treat the problem of OAB. The most common types are muscle relaxants that loosen the muscles of the urinary bladder to prevent involuntary contractions, and antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs that treat urinary tract infections. Many types of implants are surgically set into the pelvic area to act as electrical nerve stimulators for neuromodulation therapy. Reconstructive bladder surgery is another remedial option.

3. Devices and Products - Urinary urgency and incontinence can be managed through the external use of various devices and products which collect and hold urine or absorb leakages. These include indwelling catheters, condom catheters (for men), urine drainage bags, absorbent pads and adult diapers, and toilet substitutes such as bedpans and bedside urinals.

How can remove diabetes and which type of eat food in diabetes please I req because my dad also in diabetes.
You cannot remove diabetes. You can just control it with medicines and lifestyle modifications. Do daily exercise and eat fresh home-made food which is not deep-fried or oily to keep good health. Also, include ample amounts of fruits and vegetables in your diet and restrict sweets to once a week.

Orofacial Pain - Sources and Symptoms

An unpleasant experience which not only disturbs the usual routine of a person but also the psychological peace and causes extreme discomfort is called pain. When this pain involves the region above the neck, below the orbitomeatal line and in front of the ear is called as orofacial pain.

Multiple causes for orofacial pain may exist and the symptoms may include such diverse findings as headaches, neck pain, ear pain, dental pain, facial burning or stabbing sensations, and jaw joint pain.

The complaints may either develop gradually or have a rapid onset and can originate from musculoskeletal, neurovascular or neuropathic causes.

Sources of orofacial pain may include:

  1. Trigeminal Neuropathy – ant damage or degeneration to the trigeminal nerves that supplies mainly to the facial structures causes the orofacial pain. This is commonly referred as trigeminal neuralgia.

  2. Neurovascular Disorder – migraine is the most common neurovascular disorder that causes the radiating pain to the mouth eyes and other facial muscles.

  3. Temporomandibular Disorder – the major cause of orofacial pain is the temporo mandibular joint disorder which causes pain in the lower jaws. Orofacial pain may also be caused by any temporo mandibular joint surgeries and due to failure of joint replacement surgery of the jaw.

  4. Burning Mouth Syndrome – this condition is caused due to nerve damage, lack of adequate saliva production, fungal infection, certain medications and also noted for patients with diabetes. Orofacial pain is also noted in burning mouth syndrome.

  5. Cervicalgia – pain due to spinal cord injury, damage to spinal nerve, muscle and ligaments may radiate to face and cause orofacial pain.

  6. Trauma – accident is the most common cause of temporomandibular disorder and other spinal disorder that causes orofacial pain.

  7. Sleep disorders – sleep disorders include grinding or clenching of the teeth during sleep may also cause orofacial pain.

Symptoms

Though orofacial pain is caused by several factors, its symptoms includes dental pain, ear pain, neck pain, headache, pain in the jaw joint and stabbing sensation over the face. Some patients may also experience burning sensation over the face. Other symptoms include dizziness, insomnia, tinnitus (abnormal ringing or roaring sound in ears), poor muscle coordination, abnormal itching over the face and neck and tingling sensation. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Dentist.

The persons involved will be the best persons to provide further details to evaluate risk correctly. Based on the risk assessment, either tests and/or treatment will be advised. Post-exposure prophylaxis for HIV, if needed after understanding the exposure, will need to be started within 72 hours of exposure. Also, the risk of an unwanted pregnancy will have to be considered.

Dear Lybrate user Stress causes negative effects on sperm count and smoking or any other addiction is also related to stress. For addicts, addiction is the way they deal with stress anxiety negativity responsibility and guilt hopelessness etc while stress being a very important role in it. You will need to learn to deal with your stress and manage it in a healthy way. Psycholotherapy will help you in this. Moreover by clinical hypnotherapy your body organs glands will be more healthy and productive and they will co-operate in increasing your sperm count and mortality both. Stress also releases some hormones and if they are consistently released then they are not only harmful for your sperm count but your entire body and health. So your general health will also improve. You can contact me for more information regarding this and a free pre therapeutic consultation. Good luck. Take care.

I want a penis enlargement medicine. Suggest me an appropriate and effective medicine. Please.

BHMS
Homeopath, Sindhudurg
I want a penis enlargement medicine. Suggest me an appropriate and effective medicine. Please.
Increasing penis length, girth and enhancing overall appearance is quite possible. This is because the male organ consists of muscles and no bones. As you can develop your biceps, muscles can also be developed present in penis. However, for this, you need to nourish the male organ from both the sides; internally and also externally. There are many homoepathic medicine available. The muscles present in penis are very flexible and strong when they become straight and erected. They are otherwise flaccid in resting position. For this, you should do exercises advised and homoepathic medicines to nourish the entire structure. You can consult me by clicking on consult option for homoeopathic treatment or you can buy package of penis enlargement offered by me which includes medicine and consultation..
