Hi, After abortion. I go for ultrasound for sure me that I abort my child successful. Can you help me out to read that ultrasound round? This is my report. No evidence of retained products of conception is seen. Thin streak of fluid is seen pouch of Douglas. Endometrial echo is central in position and measure 1.4 mm in thickness. Please help me.

Homeopath, Visakhapatnam
As PP have said CD10 is the day of your cycle and your U/S results show a very normal uterus and lining and you ovaries have multiple follicles. There can be a small amount of fluid in the pouch of douglas that comes from the ovary as the egg is released. A large amount may be from a ruptured cyst. No fluid is good. Fluid or blood in the Pouch of Douglas may be a feature of a tubal pregnancy that is aborting or that has ruptured. In the Pouch of Douglas, free fluid may emanate from a ruptured or leaking ectopic gestation and/or from a ruptured corpus luteum.

Undescended testis:Must know this

MD - Paediatrics
Pediatrician, Kolkata
Undescended testis:Must know this

Ideally, undescended testis should be surgically replaced before 1 year of age .

After birth if testis is not in the sack then chances of malignant changes increase with every passing month.

Initially, hormonal therapy may be attempted but if no descent then surgery recommended before 1 year age.

Surgery+hormonal therapy us the best approach to management.

Risk with No Descent of Testis
*Risk of testicular malignancy*this persists to some extent even after descent
*Risk of infertility
*Psychological distress to the child

Successful detection before puberty though doesn't decrease risk of malignancy but helps in detecting changes if any easily.

As you have confirmed with home urine test negative for pregnancy, based on that no pregnancy. PCOD is a disease where there is hormonal imbalance. Depending on your complaints, examination, reports and stage of life treatment differs and it also needs more time so get yourself treated with patience. Meet Gynecologist in whom you have trust as you will need to go for long time to him/her. Overweight is very common so in case you have that reduction of weight helps tremendously.

TO BE FIT AND HEALTHY
Water is the most important nutrient for every human being. Drinking water early morning should be taken before brushing your teeth as it improves your health and makes you energetic. Wake up early from bed do not wash your face and mouth. Sit comfortably and drink at least 4 glasses of water.

Then after some time, brush and clean your mouth. Avoid eating anything for 30-40 minutes. Initially, you will find difficulty in drinking 4 glasses so start from 1-2 glasses and then increase gradually by 4 glasses of water. If it is possible, you can drink some lukewarm water also.

Most of the people do not know the benefits of drinking water early morning so they start their day with coffee or tea which is not good for health. Drinking of water empty stomach is really beneficial as it eliminate toxins and all substances that our body does not need. It has several benefits like maintaining the elasticity and tonicity of the skin, prevent constipation, helps in maintaining blood pressure, headache, diarrhoea, vision problems, diabetes, TB, heart problems etc. There are several other benefits. So start drinking water and make yourself fit and healthy.

Primary objective of your treatment is weight reduction and maintain normal BMI of 18-25. This will regularize the monthly cycles and also help you get pregnant. You can take Metformin to reduce weight. You don’t need to take any medicine till 3 months for the menses to come. Only after 3 months of missed menses you should take medicines like progesterone Tablet (Deviry 10 mg twice a day for 5 days) for getting menses. For reducing your weight you should have brisk walk or jogging for 4-5 km daily, high protein diet (fish, chicken, mutton without fat, pulses, mushrooms), low carbohydrate diet (avoid rice, chapatti, bread, poha, upma, idli, dosa, potato, sugar etc and can use bhakri instead) and low fat i. E. Less oil and preferably use rice bran oil.

I have an intramural fibroid 2.4 mm near my lining but not touching it. Do you feel it can affect pregnancy? If removed what are the consequences? Can it remain and I sustain a healthy pregnancy or will it cause a miscarriage? Please advise. Thank you in advance.

The baby is rarely affected unless the bleeding is substantial. Even if you do experience symptoms, they most likely won't affect the baby. However, your risk of miscarriage and premature delivery does increase slightly if you have fibroids. They occasionally cause the baby to be in an abnormal position for delivery.
