The hair fall will be due to B complex deficiency. So by doing your blood test for B complex you can start to use continuously for a period of one or two months ok.

Hello Doctor my age 27 years. But my weight is only 50 kg. How I can increase my weight please give me some solutions. thanks.

Hello Doctor my age 27 years. But my weight is only 50 kg. How I can increase my weight please give me some solutions...
Eat foods that are rich in calories like pulses, cereals, meat, bread, rice, dry fruits, and nuts. U can also follow by adding vegetables like French beans, broccoli, Chinese cabbage, carrots, lettuce, spinach, asparagus, pumpkins, and eggplants to your diet. Add a healthy portion of red meat to your diet too if you are non vegetarian. But keep in mind not to overdo it. The aim is to add weight, not cholesterol! You can even add olive oil in generous quantities to your salads. Another way to add calories to your diet is by increasing the consumption of dairy products. Don€’t cut back on the fat content in your milk. Do not ask for low-fat curd, paneer, cheese, at the store. Make sure you consume a full calorie dairy product. DIET CHART TO GAIN WEIGHT - Breakfast: • One, big glass of orange juice or banana shake • A bowl of oatmeal to which dried nuts like almonds, walnuts and raisins are added—using skimmed or low-fat milk and some sugar • 2-3 whole eggs, scrambled or boiled if non- vegetarian • 2-3 slices of multi-grain bread coated with a bit of butter Pre-Lunch/Mid-day Snack: A bowl of yogurt made from low-fat milk Or A few granola bars that are fortified with raisins and sesame seeds Or Whole fruits like apples or chiku or mango Lunch: • At least one form of animal meat like chicken or meat, i.e. One to two servings.(if non- vegetarian) • 4-5 rotis made from whole wheat or multi-grain flour, smeared slightly with ghee. • A big bowl of dal • A cup full of boiled rice • If eating meats is a problem, supplement it with cottage cheese made from tofu or low-fat milk Early Evening Snack: The better choice is a glass of low-fat milk to which an energy-inducing mix has been added. You can choose from a variety of malted mixtures. Try to add more of the malted mix rather than using synthetic sugar. You can use a few high-fiber biscuits or cookies to dip and munch upon. Dinner Options for Gaining Weight Dinner needs some planning since you need to end your day on a calorie high. You should combine at least one type of green vegetable along with a dal or a serving of chicken or fish with some gravy. It is better to have more of rice for dinner rather than rotis from the perspective of gaining weight. Ensure you ask the person cooking meals to use lentils with higher calorie content. This includes black grams and kidney beans. Options for Post-Dinner Snack - Dry fruits and yogurt • Fruits like strawberries, apples, mangoes or grapes I hope the above diet chart will help you. We have good medicines in homeopathy to gain weight. For further details, consult us or book an online appointment.

The initial choice of treatment is a steroid ointment that is locally applied. (This can be suggested by a doctor after you are examined in person) The ointment softens the foreskin and is applied for up to 6 weeks. When full retraction is possible the ointment is stopped. If this treatment is unsuccessful, a circumcision (surgical removal of foreskin) may be advised.

10 Benefits of Pre-marriage Counselling

10 Benefits of Pre-marriage Counselling

According to a study conducted by “Psychology Today”, it was found that couples who underwent a pre-marriage counselling have had more mutual understanding and lesser divorce rates. Given the staggering rate of divorce these days, it is wise to go through a pre-marriage counselling before tying the knots. Here are the top 10 benefits of a pre-marriage counselling:

  1. Discuss the hot topics: The biggest benefit of a pre-marriage counselling is the fact that most of the hot topics such as which religion will the children follow, what happens when the in-laws interfere in the relationship, which car to buy etc. reach an easy consent. This step will help to settle down on some of the most important events of life without having to fight, argue or divorce.
  2. Wisdom of the counsellor: The wisdom of a marriage counsellor goes a long way in settling some of the initial apprehensions of marriage. Having gone through the process of marriage and counselling many others, a counsellor knows where the shoe pinches and how to address them maturely.
  3. Set the expectation right: A pre-marriage counsellor helps to set the expectation right for both the bride and the groom. An open discussion helps a couple gauge the kind of adjustments they must do after marriage. This ensures that there are no pretensions with each other.
  4. Communication: Communication is by far the most important aspect of a relationship. A counselling session helps a couple understand the importance of listening to each other, discussing issues without arguing and not taking each other for granted.
  5. Review finance: Finance is a big matter of discussion for any couple. Be it the monthly budget, savings, spending everything is related to finance. Although uncomfortable, both the partners might discuss the financial situation at great length to avoid any unnecessary complications going forward. A pre-marriage counselling helps in doing just that.
  6. Discuss what matters the most: A pre-marriage counselling gives a couple the chance to discuss what matters the most to them. For instance, it can be career, freedom, space or anything. This counselling session will help the partners find out about each other’s passion.
  7. Discover the unknown: This session gives a unique chance to the partners to find out things that never got discussed before. Stuff like past trauma, hidden talent, untold emotions and so on are included here.
  8. Prevent the stumble: It has become fairly common among couples to split within months of marriage because of disagreements. A pre-marriage session can greatly help to avoid such a situation by making perspectives clear to each other.
  9. Lay down the rules: A marriage is the union of two lives. It is, therefore, necessary to understand the do’s and the don’ts. Understanding the liking and the disliking of each other is essential for a marriage to survive.
  10. Discuss the future: Above all, a pre-marriage counsellor helps couples to understand what they want. Since both of them influence each other a great deal, discussing future such as children, time needed for the family, personal goals etc. can be discussed. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Psychologist.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. I have read all the details given. She does seem to have multiple problems. For swelling in the body there many reasons like uncontrolled hypothyroidism (with high TSH), high BP, kidney related issues, so without knowing the exact details it is difficult to give any opinion. My suggestion is please send following details of her: TSH, T4 & T3 levels, BP readings, blood glucose levels (both fasting and after food) and CBC (complete blood cell count) and lipid profile. Plus her weight, height whether she does any exercise (walking) and current medications with dosages. It is better if you come in a private conversation then I will be able to guide specifically and even prescribe the medications. Even to advise you I need to know all the details. Thanks.

I am 18 years old and I am not able to sleep properly. When I go to bed at night I try to sleep for 1.5 to 2.5 hours ...
*Try to keep to a regular timing for going to bed*Avoid fried and heavy foods. Eat early and light food at night so that the food is almost digested by the time you go to bed. *Prefer fruits and green vegetables. *Fix daily work schedule and be busy with your work. Don’t keep pending problems in mind. Note down the points and leave them for next day’s action. *Don’t do stimulating mental work or keep watching TV which can keep your mind agitated or active. This will not allow you to sleep. LCD screen will also have adverse effect. *Day’s physical exercise makes you tired and induces sleep. *A warm bath in the evening will also be helpful. *Low volume music also induces sleep. *Keep your bed room neat, dark and cool. You may cover your eyes with bed sheet. *Drink plenty of water during the day rather than toward bedtime. *Don’t have stimulating drinks like tea or coffee Drinking a glass of milk before going to bed is fine. The problem can be treated by homeopathy and without adverse effects. Take homoeopathic medicine Nux vomica 200 twice daily in the morning and evening.

Build a better breakfast, Aim to eat anywhere between 400 and 500 calories for your morning meal, and make sure you're including a source of lean protein plus filling fat (e.g. eggs, beans, unsweetened greek yogurt, nuts or nut butters) and fiber (veggies, fruit or 100% whole-grains). Prioritise real, whole foods, means filling up on fresh fruits and veggies, whole grains, low-fat dairy and lean protein. Know your limits with salt Skip sugary beverages Ignore the gimmicks/weight loss hypes Eat your H2O Munch on mineral-rich foods Resist the urge to skip a meal Take a hike or a walk Go to bed/ no sleep deprivation Eat spicy foods seriously cayenne peppers/jalapeños Buy a set of 5-pound weights, strength training builds lean muscle tissue which burns more calories
