Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

(A) Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. (B) Use no pillow under the head. (C) Kindly take BioD3 Max 1 tab dailyx10 Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x5days (D) Do back(spine)/shoulder/knee exercises (E)Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take (F) Do not ignore it. It could be beginning of a serious problem. (G) If no relief in 4_5 days,then contact me again. (H) Contact your family doctor or nearest hospital for emergency help.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

mam these symptoms dont suggest pregnancy....if u miss ur period go for urine pregnancy test dat will rule out pregnancy....moreover i think these symptoms are premenstrual...some females feel abdominal bloating and backpain few days before the periods

Apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maharasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. 1-1 tab yograj guggul after lunch and dinner. Avoid tea. Coffee. Junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Take green vegetables. Drink juice. Eat fruits. Drink 7-8 glass of water in a day. Take 7 hours sleep minimum. Do pranayama early morning. Hello, first of all you should know what is backache and by which factors it caused and aggravated. The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movement. Walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Fresh fruits, vegetables and high fibre foods are consumed less and less. These daily practices lead to obesity. The increased body weight puts lot of pressure on the spine which has to bear all the extra unwanted weight. The back muscles which are already weak due to lack of exercise and wrong posture are unable to cope with this increased load. This causes pain in the back muscles. Management for back pain:-along with medicines for relieving pain, one needs to identify the cause and correct it. This may require some medicines or some correction in your posture or reducing weight or improving your lifestyle. At the same time, there is a need to work on the local muscle strengthening. Back muscles need to be strengthened so that they can bear the weight of the upper body. For this exercises of the back muscles are very helpful. Regular walking is also very helpful as it is a wholesome exercise of the body, improves blood circulation and helps lose weight. Most importantly if you are overweight then losing weight is an important part of the whole treatment plan. Long term use of painkillers for low back pain is harmful treatment for back pain:- homeopathic medicines are very helpful. They not only treat the acute stages but are also used for the treatment of chronic back pain. Selection of the exact remedy depends upon the individual symptoms of the person. Calf pain after running is due to muscle cramps. Follow these to get relief and avoid the problem. 1. Consume plenty of liquids after and during runs. At least 1 litre of water for 1 hour of running. 2.Take healthy snack after running like fruits or oats or chicken or dal. 3 Take shower with cold water to relieve body soreness after runs. Apply ice pack on calf muscles after running. 4. Always do stretching of back and leg muscles before starting your run. 5. Take a break of at least one day a week . 6. Be gradual in your runs. Gradual increase in speed and distance of run is recommended. 7. Do not run with improper shoes. Wear good shoes with sole support. 8. Avoid running when pain is present. If problem persists consult again.

Hi lybrate-useryou need to take your husband to a physiotherapist and ask him to teach him the following exercises which will strengthen the knee joint muscles and neutralise the load on the knee. 1. Hamstrings and quadriceps exercises. 2. Vastus medius obliqus exercises. 3. Knee rom exercises. 4. Ankle pumps. Do these exercises on a regular basis and add on weights to the ankle later and do again the exercises. Let me know how he feels then. Regards
