high cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. you should be avoid bad habits ,fatty meal/oily foods/junk/fast foods/alcohol/smoking/noo-veg. take whole grain meal/oats/dalia/green veg./fruits/juice/ use garlic . you can take also cap. ecosprin gold-10 at night. and consult cardiologist.

Change diet, lifestyle and may be your doctor also and reverse both bp and Dm naturally without medicines Hypertension is a lifestyle disease which requires only lifestyle changes and no medicine is needed provided the triggers are identified and treated. BP medicines can cause complications you should be aware of it. Ask your treating doctor and read about it to avoid new complications. Doctors lack nutrition knowledge have vested monetary interests and they do incomplete testing and do not give lifestyle advice which will cure your elevated Bp without medicines .Never believe in the lies told by doctors that you have to take BP medicines lifelong. Reversible causes of BP like Mineral, Vitamin deficiency, high calorie diet, Thyroid disease ,Stress etc needs to be excluded and treated which will cure your high BP. 1) Detailed history including dietary & lifestyle habits needed in addition to medical, occupational ,& environment history 2) Comprehensive lab testing needed which should have tests for inflammation and mineral deficiency. Get detailed dietary and lifestyle advice based on the basis of detailed history and lab tests results. Follow these 2 steps to avoid life long medications and both medicine and hypertension induced complications and Doctor shopping. Send feedback with name ,contact number and take consult. Rule out any structural heart disease by doing Echo, and TMT. If all your test results are normal and if you are still having high BP it clearly indicates your Dr. Has not addressed the root cause of the BP. Change your diet, lifestyle, and take consult if you want to reverse your high BP and Diabetes and get off your medications for ever by natural methods.

1) It is important to find out why you have developed hypertension at such a young age, I hope you have been thoroughly evaluated by a cardiologist to find out the cause, if not then please consult a cardiologist for a thorough cardiac evaluation. 2) At this age first line of management is BP control through lifestyle changes and diet modifications if that does not adequately reduce BP then we can add some medications. 3) 40 mins of daily exercise, quitting alcohol and smoking and eating a healthy diet on the lines of DASH recommendations are lifestyle changes required. 4) It will be good to be under follow up of a cardiologist so that you can be routinely evaluated and your treatment modified accordingly.

Types Of Stroke & Treatments Offered!

A stroke may be called a brain attack. It may happen to any person at any time. A stroke occurs when blood supply to the brain is cut off. The brain cells become oxygen deprived due to the stroke and eventually die. Dead brain cells result in brain dysfunction due to which patients lose control over muscle and memory.

Strokes can be mild to life threatening and requires immediate medical attention. Stroke requires advanced care and should be treated by extensively qualified and experienced medical experts.

Neurosurgery satisfies all the required clauses for treatment of stroke and accounts for being one of the best ways for management of stroke. Renowned hospitals have a dedicated neurosurgical wing and a team of neurological specialists who know how to deal with stroke the best.

Vascular Neurology
This form of neurology focuses on patients who have undergone a stroke or have experienced symptoms of stroke. A multidisciplinary approach is taken for the prevention of recurrent cerebrovascular conditions.

Types of stroke

  1. Ischemic stroke: This kind of stroke occurs when there is a blockage in a blood vessel, which supplies blood to the brain. This form of stroke is the more common. The underlying cause of this stroke is known as atherosclerosis, which is a condition where fatty deposits occur in the walls of the blood vessels and cause blockage in them.
  2. Hemorrhagic stroke: This type of stroke occurs when a blood vessel gets weak and ruptures into the brain. This is caused by two types of weak blood vessels known as aneurysm and arteriovenous malformation.
  3. Transient ischemic attack: This type of stroke is also known as a mini stroke. These attacks occur because of blood clots. The blockage caused is temporary or transient in nature.

Treatment of Ischemic stroke

  1. Tissue Plasminogen Activator: This is one of the best ways to treat ischemic strokes. This medicine is given to the patient intravenously. It dissolves the blood clot and improves blood flow to the area of the brain which is affected. The medicine should be given within three to four hours after stroke symptoms appear.
  2. Endovascular procedure: This is a process by which the blood clot is removed using a catheter, which gets inserted into the area of the blocked blood vessel. It helps in restoring blood flow to that area.

Treatment of Hemorrhagic stroke

  1. Endovascular procedure: Several endovascular techniques and methods are used so that the weakening of blood vessels is reduced and less bleeding is caused.
  2. Surgical treatment: Different modes of neurosurgery may be undertaken to stop bleeding and for relieving pressure within the skull. In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!
