This is a sign of very low vitamin d3 levels. Suggestive of disease known as rickets. During active medication of 1o weeks. Usually exercise are not recommended as it can lead to hairline fractures. But do show your baby to some orthopedic surgeon who is trained in children's ortho problems. They can guide you for need and timing of exercise and rarely need of corrective surgery to avoid deformity if any.

Bcg is given anywhere between first day of birth and one month. So no problem for your baby given after twenty days. Bcg is given as a prophylaxis to prevent tuberculosis (tb) in future. It is given on the left upper arm. After a period of one to three months a nodule forms at the site of injection, sometimes an abscess forms and it heals and ultimately a scar remains permanently. It is given intradermally.

Are there any long-term effects associated with taking ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) medications? If so, what are they and what medications are implicated?

MBBS

Use of stimulant decreases the symptoms to a much good effect and if we don't give stimulant medication there will be more of conduct disorder and progress in disease and for side effects we have to monitor the person and advice them accordingly.

Hi Lybrate user, Earlier screening might be needed if a child is at high risk for ASD. The treatments include - Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) is one of the most widely used treatments for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. It is based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis In ayurveda we have treatments like :- • Abhyangam (Oil massage-head and body) • Siropichu (Overhead application of specific oil) • Sirodhara (Pouring of specific oil over forehead as a continuous stream) • Sirolepam (Overhead application of medicinal paste) • Takradhara (Pouring of medicated buttermilk over forehead as a continuous stream) it has to be done according to the conditions.
