pain is complex phenomenon, so there are many treatment options medications, therapies, and mind-body techniques. Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If no relief in 4_5 days, then inform again.

Recently I had a appendix operation on 1 Feb 2016 and I'm having a pain from left shoulder to the end of the left jaw or sometimes left side of the head. 2Q. Better try to apply hot pack or hot water formatation daily at least per day 4 times needed,after pain subside pls trt to do isometric knee exercise

Treatment- 1-Take arshantak vati 1-1 twice a day with warm water. 2-take pranacharya pilescure capsule 1-1 twice a day. 3-Pranacharya abhayarishta 2-2 tsf twice a day. 4-apply pranacharya pilescure ointment on anal region. 5-if motions are not clear then take pranacharya virechan churna 1 tsf in warm water before night.

My sister having problem of pain since year she has done mri ct scan and all required investigations now the problem is when ever she going to sleep unable to move at side she having pain just close near arms. Doctor has suggested vitamin d and she having completed that treatment please give your suggestion.

Avoid computer work and do neck stretching exercise and hot fermentation avoid toward bending of neck if it work then ok otherwise tk tens therapy and ultrasonic therapy for arm pain.

Its normal so do stretching exercise of legs and heat fermentation if it work then ok otherwise tens therapy and hot pack must for you avoid long standing.

Shin splints typically develop after vigrous physical activity. They are often associated with running. Simple measures can relieve the pain of shin splints. Rest, ice, and stretching often help. 1) Rest. Because shin splints are typically caused by overuse, standard treatment includes several weeks of rest from the activity that caused the pain. Lower impact types of aerobic activity can be substituted during your recovery, such as swimming, using a stationary bike, or an elliptical trainer. 2) Ice. Use cold packs for 20 minutes at a time, several times a day. Do not apply ice directly to the skin. 3) Compression. Wearing an elastic compression bandage may prevent additional swelling. 4) Supportive shoes. Wearing shoes with good cushioning during daily activities will help reduce stress in your shins. 5) Flexibility exercises. Stretching your lower leg muscles may make your shins feel better. Very few people need surgery for shin splints. Surgery has been done in very severe cases that do not respond to nonsurgical treatment.
