Safe fruits for People with Diabetes
1-1/4 cup cubed watermelon
1 medium (3-inch) apple
1 medium (3-inch) peach
1/2 of a large (4 1/2-inch) pear
1/2 slices pineapple
1 small (5-inch) banana or 1/2 of a 9-inch banana
17 small or 12 large grapes (any kind)
1 kiwi fruit
2 small plums
3 dried prunes

Safe Vegetables for People with Diabetes
Any 3-4 of the following vegetables spread over 3-4 meals per day and quantity around 50-100 grams/day depending on sugar levels

Mixed vegetables (without corn or peas)

Salad greens (lettuce, romaine, spinach)
Tomatoes (fresh or canned)

Diabetes is highly common health issue in India. Your blood sugar levels increase beyond the normal levels and cause other related problems like swelling, frequent urination, nausea, heart ailments etc. Conventional drugs can only control the symptoms, but cannot help the person to completely get rid of diabetes. - Must Do's: Practice a healthy lifestyle by undertaking regular exercise and yoga. Practice medication and go out for a walk at least once in the day. Also, make it a habit to mix half a tablespoon of turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon of amla powder with half a tablespoon of methi seeds and consume it every day. Incorporating these habits in your lifestyle would definitely help you in getting rid of diabetes.
