I am a 25yr old female and have joint pain in my knee for last 2 months. What should I do?

Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

I have back pain since last 2 months and I am only 23 years old. When I go to bed and sleep then I get more pain. What to do for this problem?

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Sir, my wife is 36 year old, and last 3 months she is getting her knee pain, orthopedic doctor gave pain killers and calcium tablet for 15 days, but there is no difference in pain, after that doctor advised x ray for both knees, serum uric acid, vitamin d. All are normal, vitamin d is 36, pls suggest me some answer.

I am female 40 years old. 6 months back I have met with accident & have operated on below the right knee (one inch plate inserted) & slight head injury also with 15 stitches. I have a upper back pain. I feel it only when I wake up in the morning. I don't feel the pain in daytime. The pain subsides once I move out of bed and get active (in the next 30 min to 1 hr). I wake up very tired.

I am 21year old female and am suffering from severe backache from last two days. What I should do?

Here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -stop normal physical activity for the first few days. This will help relieve your symptoms and reduce any swelling in the area of the pain. -apply heat or ice to the painful area. One good method is to use ice for the first 48 to 72 hours, and then use heat. Take pain relievers medicine. --while sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back for the first 6 weeks after the pain begins. -avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -stretching and strengthening exercises are important. But, starting these exercises too soon after an injury can make your pain worse. -some physiotherapy treatment like ift current can give you some relief. -a full history of your problem should be taken and your movements assessed by a physiotherapist. Please consult a physiotherapist for the same.

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).

  5. Hypericum: This is a useful homeopathic remedy for compressed injuries and nerve pain. It can be used to treat back aches caused by disc compression, canal stenosis, myelopathy and radiculopathy. Hypericum can also be used to treat jerking muscles.
  6. Kali carb: If your back feels weak and you experience sharp pains, Kali carb may be help alleviate your pain. Such pain is usually associated with a burning sensation and causes excessive sweating. Dear lybrateuser, - Avoid sitting on hard surface, put a cushion or a pillow whenever you are sitting, also do not sit for too long - do back exercises to strengthen the coccygeal & spinal muscles to reduce pain - apply pain relief gel three times a day - take pain relief tablet after meals if pain is more - if pain is too much consult a doctor as injectables may be required to improve the condition.

Second- Your third molar may be in the erupting stage. It commonly erupts between 17 to 25 years of age and causes trouble to the patient until it has erupted fully. Hello, first of all you should know what is backache and by which factors it caused and aggravated. The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. In a known case of diabetic we need to control sugar levels with medication, aerobic exercise and following a diabetic diet and for pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and also take physiotherapy treatment till recovery.
