If you are giving formula feed you should never give in bottle with nipple. Instead give from cup with spoon. You can start giving smashed home made foods.

A mother can eat whatever she wants right after delivery. What she eats affects her health and nutrition, and not breastmilk. But make sure that the other eats a variety of fresh fruits and a balanced nutritious meal, with plenty of fluids throughout the day. Curd or lime can be had anytime.

In the initial few weeks baby will try to feed more and it could be every 2 hours or less. If the baby is feeding too frequently may suggest that it is not latching well or only nipple feeding. So try to correct the technique in that case and baby should have good mouthful of your breast than only nipple. You should breast feed on demand means whenever baby wants to feed and as long as baby wants to feed. You should breastfeed throughout the day and also in night. Day by day baby’s demand will keep on increasing because weight gain which is mat maximum in the first 6 months.

Fetal heart beat of 84/Mt is normal at 4 weeks. Heart rate gradually increases to 120-160 by 8-10 weeks.

Hello, friends, I am Sheela Suhag Seharawat, Mentor Diet Clinic. We have been in this field for eleven years, meeting different kinds of people with a different kind of disease. Today, I’m going to discuss a healthy diet plan for students.

Jaise jo college going hai ya school going hai. Maximum parents ko bhi dikat aati hai ki unko kya khana chahiye ya bacho ko bhi nahi samajh mein aata ki unko kya apni daily routine life mein include karna chahiye. Toh uske liye mein aap ko kuch points batana chahoongi. Jaise hume sabse pehle students ko ek habit hoti hai ki morning time mein jaldi mein hote hai, jald baazi mein hote hai toh unka breakfast skip ho jata hai. So don’t skip your breakfast, have a healthy breakfast because aap ka sabse ek main meal breakfast ho jata hai kyunki uske baad ho sakta hai because of classes or because of aap ka busy schedule, lunch skip kar sakta ho but still breakfast pe aapko dhyaan dena hai. Agar aap healthy breakfast loge then the whole day you feel more active and more energetic, aap apne study pe concentrate kar sakte ho. Toh hume breakfast zaroor lena chahiye.

Second thing, try to include more variety in your food. Kya hota hai ki agar aap ek he type ki food lete ho toh uss mein humare nutrients itne healthy way se nahi ho pati. Toh aap jitni bhi variety include karoge apne food mein, utni he aap ko nutrients jyada milenge. Jaise aap more of fruits ke bajai, ek apple ya do apple ke bajai aap one apple, anar, plus seasonal fruits aap include kar sakte ho. Four to five different types of fruits every day aap ko include karna hai.

Next thing is that being a student hume stress hota hai, chahe woh studies ka ho ya woh marks ka ho. Toh use fight karne ke liye hume kabhi bhi kissi bhi junk food ka sahara nahi lena chahiye. Jaise habit hoti hai ki jaise he stress hoye hum ek chocolate le liya, chalo hum ek pastry khaane chale jaate hai ya patties le lete hai. Un cheezon ko hume avoid karna chahiye. Bajai ke hum uss time pe apne paas koi bhi handy healthy snacks agar aap apnea as paas rakh sakte ho. Jaise apne bag mein humesha carry a fruit so that kuch bhi aap ko iss type ki tension lage or you want to eat something, go for healthy snacks. Jaise diet chocolates rakh liya aap ne ya phir aap ne koi fruit rakh liya or if you are outside somewhere then go for some liquids jaise aap ne kuch lassi le liya. Yeh cheezein aap ke liye best hai.

Aur being a student aap ko concentration ki zaroorat hai toh uss ke liye aap ko liquid ke upar more concentrate karna hai. Jitna aap paani intake karoge utna he aap ka concentration, studies ke upar jyada concentrate kar paoge. Toh hume liquid jyada lena chahiye plus iss se aap apne aap ko dehydration se bhi baccha sakta hai. And hume anti-oxidants jyada chahiye toh uss ke liye aap fruits and vegetables aap apne diet mein jydada include kar sakte ho. Aur ek hota hai ki chalo hume kuch, as a student, hume kuch acha aur interesting bhi chahiye kyunki dil se toh hum hai he bacche, toh aap apne diet mein hafte mein ek cheat day zaroor rakho jaise poore week ka aap ko jo khaane ka dil kar raha hai, craving ho raha hai woh aap un dino mein kar sakte ho. Isse aap weekday pe apne diet ko healthy diet mein include kar sakte ho. Atleast hafte mein ek ya do din you can eat whatever you want to eat.

Being a student aap ko aisa nahi hai ki aap ko sirf meetha khaana hai, uske badle aap jo over sweet things include karte ho un cheezon ko hume avoid karna chahiye. Plus caffeinated ya aap ke junk food ke upar hume restrict karna chahiye kyunki who sab cheezein aap ko obesity ke taraf leke jayengi jo ki aap ke health ke liye theek nahi hai. And ek common feature hota hai skipping meals ki chalo humare paas time nahi hai, hum yeh skip kar dete hai, lunch skip kar dete hai ya dinner skip kar dete hai, don’t do this because ye automatically aap ke jo concentration hai, mind hai, uss par impact daalega. Aap meal skip karne ke bajai aap small meals in small intervals lo. Toh skip karne ki aadat aap ek dum apni schedule se nikalni hogi. Yeh kuch aap ke liye tips the.

Probably child is not eating enough solids & being on milk. A 3 year old child should be able to eat with parents. In addtion insufficient water intake and deferring urge to defecate due to any cause adds up to the problem. Any way start giving semisolids/ solid diet instead of milk every 3 hours with plenty of water in between. For instant relief dulcolax suppositary per anal can be given.

My daughter age is 18 month And 05 days. When his age is 6 and half months than we find that she is suffering from Iron deficiency Anemia based on report 1) RBC=Anisochromia andanisopoikilocytosis. Microcytic hypochromic rwe cell with some tear drop cells, elliptical cell, target cells and occasional fragmental red cell are noted. 2) That time hemoglobin level is 6.5% 3) WBC- Matured with increase total count. Few reactive lymphocytes are also seen. 4) Platelets;- Increased, Serum Ferritin-05 ng/ml. 5) Comments- severe microcytic hypochromic anemia with leukocytosis and thrombocytosis. Please correlate clicinally and evaluate for iron deficiency anemia and hemoglobin disorder. That time hemoglobin level is 6.5% and that time required blood transfusion and that time HB% was-12.20%. After again one month later that when she admitted in hospital that time Hemoglobin level is 10.38% and at presently we take some test. At present Hemoglobin % is 12.20 and LDH level 597U/L and S. Ferritin level is 63.8 ng/ml and we also taken HB ELECTROPHORESIS and result is HB A- 96.5%, HB A2-2.3% and HB F -1.2%. On dated 01/05/2016 HB% becomes down 10.20% RBC-4.18% and Blood culture report and Urin RME and Stool RME report is ok. Some times we give her nebulizer. Most of the time Runny nose itchy eye and regular cold and fever problem. Now I want to know the above report result mean. On the other hand last 4 months his weight is constant at 9 kg. How we can gain weight my baby. We are worry about that. 1 Doctor Answered.

Above report is more in favor of Iron/ multi nutritional deficiency anemia. Blood transfusion increases Hb temporarily. Intermittent fall of Hb may be due to interrupted treatment and lack of nutritional diet as indicated by constant wt at 9 kg. To improve his wt and normalize Hb, give him Iron, B Complex, Vit C and other micro nutrients and continue at least for about 3 months after Hb comes to normal, add oil/ ghee in his nutritious diet for wt gain.

Typhoid Fever - Follow These Steps and Prevent It!

Typhoid is an infectious bacterial fever with an eruption of red spots on the chest and abdomen and severe intestinal irritation, brought about by the Salmonella typhi bacteria. It can also be brought about by Salmonella paratyphi, a related bacterium that generally causes a less extreme sickness. The bacteria are stored in water or in the food by a human carrier and are then spread to other individuals around them.

There are many ways to avoid typhoid fever:

  1. VaccinationTake one dose of the vaccine one week before travelling. The other is given orally in four cases, with one container to be taken every alternate day. Neither one of the vaccines is 100% effective. Both require repetitive immunisation since the effect of vaccines diminishes over time.
  2. Washing your hands: Frequently washing your hands in hot, soapy water is the most ideal approach to control contamination. Wash before eating or cooking food and after using the toilet. Use a hand sanitiser in cases where water isn't accessible.
  3. Drinking clean water: There are a few ways in which you can avoid getting typhoid fever spread by contaminated water.
    • Abstain from drinking untreated water.
    • Contaminated drinking water is a specific issue in areas where typhoid fever is endemic. Thus, drink only boiled or filtered water, or canned or packaged carbonated drinks.
    • Carbonated filtered water is more secure than non-carbonated filtered water.
    • Request drinks without ice.
    • Use filtered water to brush your teeth and try not to swallow water in the shower.
    • Clean water can get contaminated again in case it is not put away securely.
    • Store the clean drinking water in a container with a little opening and use it within four hours.
  4. Staying away from raw fruits and vegetables: Maintain a strategic distance from crude foods grown in the ground. Since crude produce may have been washed away in water, maintain distance from products of the soil that you cannot peel, particularly lettuce. To be totally protected, you might need to stay away from street food completely.
  5. Cooking: Pick hot foods. Keep away from food that is put away or served at room temperature. Steaming hot nourishments are ideal. Also, in spite of all precautions, there is no assurance that the food served at the finest restaurants is safe for your health. It is best to stay away from foods served by street side vendors. Completely cook all meats, fish and vegetables. Eat them while they are still hot.
  6. Washing: Wash your dishes and utensils with proper dish washing soap and water. Wash your cutting board particularly well with a cleanser and water.
  7. Peeling: Peeling fruits and vegetables protects you from typhoid. Eat natural products that have been freshly washed and peeled, for example, oranges and bananas. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can ask a free question.

Since my husband is already 32 years old I wish to have another baby as soon as possible. Can you please tell me the minimum time I can try to conceive again. I had GDM in my last pregnancy. So I would also like to know how to avoid it in next pregnancy. I am 5.5 ft and 73 kg, suggest me ways to reduce it for healthy pregnancy.

Please note you can start planning for second baby once your first baby is 2.5 yrs old. Before planning for second baby you need to start exercising and reduce your weight. Take healthy diet like high protein and low carbohydrate diet. Keep a watch on your sugar levels also

If milk supply is high you can continue to give him. Instead of tablet you apply bitter creams or put a plaster over the nipple to prevent him

Firstly you need to learn some belly exercises and tone your belly. Diet wise avoid deep fried food items, packed foods. Have more of salads, soups, fruits, dry fruits, sprouts in your diet. Take 4 small meals in a day. Avoid highly salted items and bakery products. You need to work out a lot.

If you aren’t sure what the end result is, the confusion will make it impossible to focus. 4) Divide Blobs. If you have a large project that needs work, clearly identify a path that you will use to get started working on it. If the sequence of actions isn’t obvious, it will be difficult to concentrate. Taking a few minutes to plan not only your end result, but the order you will complete any steps, can save hours in wasted thinking. 5) Know the Rules Get clear on what the guidelines are for the task ahead. What level of quality do you need? What standards do you need to follow? What constraints are there? If the rules aren’t clear from the outset, you will slip out of concentration as you ponder them later. 6) Set a Deadline Deadlines have both advantages and disadvantages when trying to force concentration. A deadline can make it easier to forget the non-essential and speed up your working time. If you give yourself only an hour to design a logo, you will keep it simple and avoid fiddling with extravagant designs. Time limits have disadvantages when they cause you to worry about the time you have left instead of the task itself. 7) Break down Roadblocks Roadblocks occur whenever you hit a tricky problem in your work. This can happen when you run out of ideas or your focus wavers. Break down roadblocks by brainstorming or planning on a piece of paper. Writing out your thought processes can keep you focused even if you might become frustrated. 8) Isolate Yourself Become a hermit and stay away from other people if you want to get work done. Unless your work is based on other people they will only break your focus. Create a private space and refuse to talk to anyone until your work is finished. Put a sign on your door to steer away drop-ins and don’t answer your phone. 9) Healthy Body, Sharper Mind What you put into your body affects the way you concentrate. Nobody would expect peak performance if they showed up drunk to work. But if you allow yourself to get chronic sleep deprivation, overuse stimulants like caffeine or eat dense, fatty foods your concentration will suffer. Try to cut out one of your unhealthy habits for just thirty days to see if there is a difference in your energy levels. I’ve found even small steps can create dramatic changes in my ability to focus. 10) Be Patient Before I write an article, I often sit at my desk for a fifteen or twenty minutes before I put finger on the keyboard. During this time I feel a strong urge to leave or do something else. But I know that if I am patient, I’ll stumble upon an idea to write about and enter a state of flow. Without a little patience, you can’t take advantage of flow when it rushed through you. If you need strong concentration I recommend periods of 90-120 minutes. Any less than that and you will waste too much time getting started before the flow can continue. More than this is possible to sustain focus, but you will probably benefit from a quick break. These are the general guidelines for concentration, studying well or doing your job. Regards.

My daughter aged of 12 suffering from stomach pain after passing the motions both stomach pain & the back part of tool I already don urine test motion test culture test but is positive there was urine infection treated for three days but still she says she has pain in the back kindly suggest.

This is sign of severe urinary tract infection. Rule out reflux. By means of sonography you shall rule out that. And meet pediatric urologist for the same.

My girl child is 7 years old. Her weight is 45 kg. He suffers illness two times every year like fever, cough, nose block etc. But she is very much active. She sweat very much. Her belly is too much fat.

It's quite normal to have 2 to 3 times illness in a year. You must try to reduce her weight as obesity is associated with various health problems like diabetes, hypertension etc. Some children have a tendency to sweat more. In your child it may improve with reduction in the weight.

My baby is one year old. He got cold n cough almost about every week. After giving antibiotic he remains fine for 5-6days. But again he gets cold n cogh. Due to cough he doesn't take proper milk. And vomits. What should I do and how much milk should a one year old baby take.

Children below one and two years get frequent cough and cold due their general resistance is less. Some children are allergic to dust, pollution, change in weather etc. As the child keeps growing their resistance increases and the number of attacks (cough and cold) come down. But whenever child suffers take to a paediatrician and use medicines as advised. Take all the vaccinations accordingly as advised to protect and increase immunity. We cannot predict how milk a child drinks. You have to feed the baby as much as the baby drinks.
