I am 34 years old male, cold turkey since march16. Since then shortness of breath and on and off chest pain primarily left side. Regular runner and workout 5 days a week. Had 4 times ECG, EKG, stress treadmill test, Lungs test, XRay all normal. I still have shortness of breath in milder form, chest pain that is on and off and lot of gas. In evenings I feel bloated and get belching as well. Not sure what I am going through.

ENT Specialist,
Tonsillar enlargement in children is physiological as they help in immunity.in your case, their enlargement indicates a chronic irritation of your throat. It may be due to mucous dripping from behind your nose (sinusitis) or severe gastritis. Consult an ENT specialist to rule out any nasal focus of infection.

First of all, just ensure that you have an extra inhaler. Because nothing works like the inhalers. If still such situation occurs, steam inhalation and some coffee may help. Don't panic and control your breath. Final line- inhalers are the best, usually no alternative for fast relief. If no relief, don't delay trying home remedies, rush to the nearby hospital.
