Back Pain Can Be Due To Myofascial Pain Syndrome!

Myofascial pain syndrome is a chronic pain disorder. 

In this condition, pressure on sensitive points in your muscles (trigger points) causes pain in the muscle and sometimes in seemingly unrelated parts of your body. This can be caused by repetitive motions used in jobs or hobbies or by stress-related muscle tension

Myofascial pain may be associated with trigger points—areas of tenderness and stiffness within the muscle tissue that reduce your range of motion. Myofascial pain syndrome can occur when you have several areas of active trigger points.

People often refer to trigger points as “knots,” as they feel tight and bundled to the touch compared to the supplier surrounding muscle. As the muscle becomes tight, it can cut off its own blood supply, which can trigger muscle tenderness, pain, and further spasm or tightness in the muscle.

Trigger points can form in muscles þ over your body—including those in your neck, mid-back, and low back

Myofascial

Myofascial release is a type of physical therapy often used to treat myofascial pain syndrome.

Well, normally young people like you should not have back pain. May be you have injured your back kindly apply ice for 20 mins every hourly and take some rest till it recovers. Avoid painkillers as they have side effects. If not getting alright after few days then maybe contact some orthopedic surgeon.

Hi Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

Lifestyle Habits: Every morning Do minimum 30 Minutes of Yog: Asana and Pranayam. Add Physical Exercise/Gym and Outdoor sports during evening Hours, in your daily routine. Balanced Diet is also required. Avoid Refined Sugar, Oily fast foods, spices. For good sleep: Avoid using Electronics and Social media after late evening. Medical help: If the problem continues, even after longer duration of Lifestyle habit changes, Do not hesitate to consult a Neurologist for help.

Hello, there are several causes of joint pain such as arthritis , osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, sprains , strain, bursitis, fibromyalgia, Chronic fatigue syndrome etc. please share more of symptoms so that i can make diagnosis. Now she can take Rhus tox. 200, 5 drops in the morning and bryonia 200, 5 drops daily evening. Five phos , 4 tabs twice daily. Revert with feedback.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hi, dear lybrate-user. When you feel knee-pain: * when you are mobile or in absolute rest. Or, ascending upstairs. These symptoms r required, to b considered, seriously to reach a solution. Till then take *homoeo-medicine* @ rhus tox 200- 6 pills, thrice a day. @ colchicum 200-6 pills, theidce a day. Your report will modify your medication, please, report in a wk.

. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.
