It boosts your energy levels, improves your digestive system and also helps you with weight loss. A detox diet contains no grains, no milk, no alcohol and no sugar. A detox plan aims at taking the load off the organs which detoxify your body, such as kidneys, liver, and bowel. There are several things you should keep in mind before undertaking a detox diet.

How to start?
You should undertake a detox diet when you have a long break from events and occasions which might disrupt your detox diet, such as parties, weddings, and birthdays. You may experience a cleansing reaction during the first few days of the detox diet, like loose bowel movement and headache. This happens because of the abrupt withdrawal of some food items from your diet.

Food you should avoid
While on a detox diet, there are several food items you should avoid. They include milk products, sugar, maple syrup, honey, artificial sweeteners, coffee, alcohol, dried fruit, and grains such as wheat, barley, oats, rice, and barley.

Food you should take
Here are the food products which should be a part of your detox diet:

  4. Lean red meat and chicken
  5. Legumes such as chickpeas, lentils, and kidney beans

  9. Seeds like pumpkin, sesame, and sunflower seeds
  10. White tea, green tea
  11. 1 to 3 liters of water every day

Seven day detox plan

  1. You should start your day in the morning with lemon juice, which is good for cleansing your system and kick starting digestion.
  2. During detox, you should exercise for an hour regularly. Vigorous exercise is required, which increases your circulation and lymph flow for helping you sweat out toxins.
  3. Consume raw food items as they contain more enzymes and nutrients.
  4. You also need to detoxify your mind. You should meditate for at least 15 minutes every day. You can also try belly breathing.
  5. Drinking lots of water is very important during a detox diet. This helps in moving the lymphs and supporting detoxification from your kidneys.
  6. It is important to chew your food properly. You should chew a mouthful of food for about 10 to 12 times before swallowing it. You should avoid a detox diet if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, are underweight, or if you are an elderly person. Your problems are not related to the menses stopping (menopause) but it is related to" what you eat" perhaps your digestion system has been affected. You must seek an advice from a gastroenterologist or a gen surgeon who can help you. Acidity occurs due to excess gastric acid. Either it can be secreted more due to hurry, stress, worry and spicy food intake or it can be due to erratic food habits which prevent neutralisation of the acid produced. E prolonged starving between meals, starvation, etc it would be best to space out your meal into 5-6 meals per day, rather than just having lunch and dinner. So eat small amounts every 2 hourly. This will help neutralise the acid produced and prevent a build up avoid excess consumption of tea / coffee.(not more than 2 / day) eat high fiber foods like carrot, radish, beet, cucumber, watermelon, oranges, sweet lime etc. This prevents gas formation and helps smooth motion eat fresh curds (dahi) 1 small bowlful, every day. Drink 2-3 liters of water per day. All this will help you. In addition you must take medicines to reduce acidity as prescribed.

Little and often

Keep your meals small and regular. A big meal sitting in the stomach will produce a pot-bellied look even in the slimmest person, whereas eating little and often won’t overtax your digestive system, and is less likely to spoil your silhouette in that little black dress. But good news for baked bean-lovers – plant-breeding programmes have made these beans lower in raffinose, the sugar that causes wind.

Get in balance

An imbalance of good and bad bacteria in the gut can also cause bloating, so top up with a healthy probiotic yoghurt or drink. Take a little care at first, though, as sometimes probiotics can unsettle things digestion-wise, at least temporarily. If you’ve been overdoing refined carbs, swap to smaller portions of slower-releasing, low-GI types, such as porridge, grainy breads and wholewheat pasta. Swapping some of your carbs for monounsaturated fats (MUFAs) will also help (think nuts rather than pretzels, tahini instead of jam).

Flat tum foods

Great flat-tum-friendly foods are potassium-rich fruit and veg, in particular bananas, beetroot and a daily glass of orange juice. Potassium works its magic by counteracting the water-retaining effects of excess sodium in the body. But you’ll also need to cut down on salty foods to maximise the stomach-flattening impact.

Drink less
Never drink on an empty stomach and go for spritzers or other lower-alcohol drinks to help keep your stomach trim. Instead drink plenty of water to aid digestion and flush out waste matter more efficiently.

Put down the chewing gum

When we chew gum, we often swallow excess air which leads to bloating. Avoid it altogether where possible!

Avoid stress
There's a clear link between stress and digestive health. Why not go for a run to de-stress, or book in to that much-needed yoga class?

Hi, Priyanka you are already 24 years why don't u accept pregnancy why do u want to kill your baby. You would have used contraception if you really dnt want a baby. Once if u have abortion 50 % chances of having abortion in second pregnancy.

Yes that's it. But the sperm should enter the uterus when the lady is ovulating (egg released from ovary time) this is day 14th from 1 st day of menses. Means if she gets menstrual bleeding on 1st june, then the most suitable time for pregnancy is from june 10 to june 16 as ovulation will occur on 14 june. This is in case of a women with a regular cycle.

Medical conditions that could be the cause of abnormal menstrual bleeding include: *infection *ovarian cysts *thyroid functioning etc. I suggest a visit with your gynaecologist is the first step in determining the cause of your prolonged menstrual bleeding. Stomach pain and back pain could be associated with prolonged menstrual bleeding.

U do sex on 11th to 18 th day of periods to get pregnant .if pregnancy doesnot occur then go for ultrasound lower abdomen to rule out the cause .need to go to doctor for further evaluation .

Usually during pregnancy food rich in fibre and folic acid i. E. Green leafy vegetable, protein like chicken, fish, pulses, mashroom and more fruits and dry fruit should comprise of healthy diet. In first 3 months there is increase chance of vomiting, so better to avoid more spicy and oily food. All kind of fruits can be eaten during pregnancy including papaya, contrary to the general belief. All fruits provide good amount of fibre and vitamins. Vegetables also specially green leafy vegetables which provides folic acid and fibre. Along with that full glass of milk twice a day will supplement calcium.

Preventing Uterine Cancer

Uterine cancer is also known as endometrial cancer and it mostly affects the middle aged women. The uterus of a woman is a muscular organ. The cancer can affect any part of the uterus and is more common in women having obesity, diabetes and hypertension. In most cases, the cancer starts in the endometrium, hence called endometrial cancer. Uterine cancer can be cured using any of the following methods:

  1. Surgical removal of the uterus along with ovaries, lymph nodes and fallopian tubes
  2. Radiation therapy
  3. Chemotherapy

Although uterine cancer is curable, it's always a better option to prevent it. You cannot control all the causes for uterine cancer like those related to heredity. But other than that, here are a few ways in which you can prevent suffering from uterine cancer:

  1. Control body weight: Keep your body weight in control. Obesity can pose a huge risk of getting affected with uterine cancer. The fat in the body produces estrogen, which promotes the growth of uterine lining that is the Endometrium and may lead to Endometrial cancer.
  2. Breast feed: If you are lactating, then the risk of the cancer decreases, as breast feeding decreases ovulation as well as estrogen activities.
  3. Treat abnormal bleeding: If you are suffering from any type of abnormal bleeding, be that heavy periods, bleeding even after you reached menopause or if you start bleeding between two period cycles, consult your doctor immediately. Abnormal bleeding is the symptom of endometrial hyperplasia, which might eventually turn cancerous.
  4. Exercise: As already said earlier, keep your weight under control to avoid uterine cancer. Exercise to avoid increase in weight leading to obesity. It also reduces the estrogen level in your body.
  5. Healthy food: Healthy food is the key to avoid any disease, be that a common cold or uterine cancer. Eat a healthy and balanced diet everyday to be fit and bouncing. 
  6. Birth control pills: It is believed that the intake of birth control pills helps to keep uterine cancer at bay.

So eat healthy, exercise and adopt healthy habits. Then nothing can stop you from enjoying life to the fullest.

No way. But its not a matter of concern until your partner is extra interrogative. Clitoris rupture doesn't mean that it broke only because of sexual indulgence. However habitual coitus may be ascertained only by medical investigation which, I think, is not to be there at first night. However there are some her NB als which are used to smear vaginal walls to get constrictive effect of vagina to tighten it.

Hello, PCO may cause delay in conception but bicornuate uterus as such is not a cause of infertility. Bicornuate uterus may cause problems during pregnancy sometimes. As you are quite young, needn't worry. If there is no conception even after one year of trial please contact a good infertility specialist who can help you with the process. All the best.

This is not only useful for future reference when you visit a gynecologist, but it also helps you to understand if there are delays in period or excess of bleeding in any particular month. 

Why is tracking your menstrual cycles important?

Keeping a track of the menstrual cycles is a mandatory exercise for women who are thinking about pregnancy or those trying to avoid it. It is advisable to abstain from intercourse for a few days before and after the period, which is the prime time for ovulation. Keeping track of your periods gives you a clear indicator of whether you have become pregnant because delay in the menstrual onset implies pregnancy. The reverse is also true; if you are trying to get pregnant, conception is usually fruitful on these days of maximum ovulation, which you can easily calculate based on your well maintained menstrual record.

How should you go about keeping track of your menstruation?

While it not possible to note down every possible aspect of the menstruation in a notebook, the easiest way of maintaining a planner is to mark the first day of each period on the calendar. The difference between two consecutive periods will give you your cycle lengths.

In addition you can choose to make a note of how heavy the bleeding is, or if there are changes in mood and appetite on those days. You will then be well prepared for your next visit to the gynecologist.

With abortion pill it will be aborted naturally. Mifepristone single tablet is taken orally with water and 4 tablets of misoprostol r inserted in the vagina by a doctor after 48 hrs to be most effective. Misoprost can be put sublingually or taken orally also but efficacy is less. Bleeding will start after misoprostol insertion. This can be done only till 7 weeks in india. 7 weeks to be calculated form the first day of last menses. If done after 7 weeks chance of failure is very high. You will not get these medicines without doctor prescription.
