Have you heard of the story of the 2 woodcutters- one who went on cutting trees without resting and the other who rested and sharpened his axe after cutting each tree. At the end of the day who do you think was able to cut more trees? The first one right ??? No, the second one , because with a sharper axe it took less time and effort to cut the trees . keeping busy with no time time to eat and rest , will not help you in the long run. A healthy mind rests in a healthy body and for having a healthy body you need to have a proper diet , lots of water , and proper exercise and rest . If you start having proper balanced diet and on time - your health will start to improve. Have a proper breakfast at the beginning of the day so that your body has enough calories for the entire day - have fruits all seasonal fruits are good. Have moderate lunch and dinner - at the right time. Avoid having too much of tea and/or coffee- try kill your appetite. Instead of having a tea - grab a fruit. Keep fruits, dry fruits and roasted snacks handy in case of emergency.

Hello lybrate-user for weight loss no need to join any jim by itself you can get it. First try to take diet on fix time daily and take more time while eating like 20minutes in one time meal. Reduce dose of food less chapati etc. Avoid water taking just after food. Avoid all maida items. Fried food. Sweets. Cakes. Colddrinks. Fast food. Butter. Creams etc. Avoid all adictions eg. Alcohal if taking. Nonveg also avoid. Take more of vegetable. Salads. Fruits. Etc. Do yoga, excersise one hour daily. Take one glass hot water with two spoon honey mix in it. Avoid to sleep after 7am. Avoid day time sleep. In medicines you can take arogyavardhini vati 2-2tablet and medoharvidangadi loha guggul tablet two two after food with warm water. Also take trifla churna one tsf at bed time daily. Plan monthly targets to reduce 3-4kg weight. It will help you a lot.

Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips. I am sure it will at least help you with initial fat loss.

To gain weight it is not about eating too much, but eat high energy and protein dense food frequently in small portions. 1 start eating high energy high protein food. Like almond, ground nut, dry coconut, cashew nut, milk and milk products etc 2 do not take stress, if you are suffering from any kind of stress do yoga and meditation 3 quite smoking or any kind of tobacco. 4 eat food which is less in fiber so it can be digested easily and make you hungry again. 5 instead of eating large quantities of food in single meal take small portions of food frequently above are some common instruction. Dear Lybrate User, you may have come across a number of gimmicking advertisement of medicines which claim to decrease body weight in a very short time. Do not fall prey for such advertisement because the excess weight would not be shredded until each & every underlying cause of being overweight is diagnosed & treated. The basic role behind the process of accumulation of fat in human body is played by Metabolism. Metabolism is the set of life-sustaining chemical transformations within the cells of living organisms. The three main purposes of metabolism are the conversion of food/fuel to energy to run cellular processes, the conversion of food/fuel to building blocks for proteins, lipids, nucleic acids, and some carbohydrates, and the elimination of nitrogenous wastes. Accumulation of fat indicates that a considerable amount of the calories which you are taking daily is not used up by the body & is stored as fat. In order to lose the excess fat you need to increase your rate of metabolism. Once your rate of metabolism or BMR is increased your body will use up the excess calories stored as fat in your body. First of all you need to rule out the possibility of the presence of any hormonal disturbance that may be affecting your metabolism. Just conduct a total Thyroid profile test of all your blood (also Serum Testosterone level in case of males). If the reports are within normal limits then you should proceed further to increase your metabolism. If you find any abnormalities in the report you should immediately consult a doctor.

You have to persist with a low carbohydrate and low fat high protein diet. Stop all cereals, sugar, bakery products and desserts. Take the white of 4 boiled eggs and lots of fruits and green vegetables and salads. Go for an hour long walk every day. If you don't loose weight soon you will develop diabetes and high BP. Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and spicy food. And constipation.

Hi lybrate-user मोटापा कम करने के लिए क्या करे? 1 खाने के बाद पानी पिने से बचे 2 अगर आप रोज़ एक वक़्त 4 रोटी खाते हे तो उसकी जगह 3 ही खाए. अब लोग सोचेंगे की क्यों न फिर २ ही खता हु तोह जल्दी मोटापा काम होंगे. एकदम से 2 रोटी खाना शुरू न करे इससे आपको कमजोरी आ सकती हे, क्यों की हमारे शरीर के हिसाब से हमें सही मात्र में पोषक आहार भी मिलना जरुरी हे. तोह धीरे धीरे करके खाना काम करे वजन घटने व अन्य सहायता के लिए बेहिजक हम से संपर्क करे

At work you can do some bit exercise. After every 2 hours, do some stretches and walk around/on stairs for 5 minutes. This way you can do at least 25-30 mins exercise during the day. Apart from that wherever you can, you must walk. To markets. Instead of lifts. Etc. You need to build in exercise in your daily routine. This is important to keep your joints, muscles and body toned and fit. It will also prevent various diseases. As for Diet >> > Keep 2-3 apples with you at all times and eat whenever hungry >> Keep drinking water throughout the day >> Skip the Colas and Cappuchinos >> - Add more Fruits /Salads/Proteins to your diet. - Cut down Oils/Sugar/Maida/Ghee from your diet. - Cut down Puris/Parathas/Pizzas/Burgers/Fried Rice. - Eat slowly and mindfully. - Reduce portion size. Take small bits of food in your plate.

It is your your hormones which have made you fat and makes you feel hungry all the time. Unless we make correct diagnosis and and create a diet and lifestyle plan to correct that hormonal abnormalities you will not be able to lose weight for long term. Most diet fails because they are low calorie and low fat. Instead of correcting metabolism, they make you feel low energy or makes you feel excessively hungry. If you are doing regular exercise, it will increase your fitness but it does not reduce weight much. To achieve weightloss - think long term. Weight loss achieved over short term, always comes back. There is a general approach and a specific approach as per individual patients metabolic profile. Try this general approach (see below) for 4 weeks. If this works then continue. If this is not enough then revert for further assessment and customized approach. 1. Do not eat anything sugary or sweet. Zero sweetness in diet. 2. Eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner along with other foods. 3. Do not drink any liquid calorie like cola or fruit juices. 4. Continue brisk walks or jogging for 45 - 60 minutes every day. Hello, your BMI-25 Regular exercise like, walking, jogging, running, swimming, cycling Having at least five portions, or ideally 7-9 portions, of a variety of fruit and vegetables per day. These should be in place of foods higher in fat and calories. For example, fruit makes a good, healthy snack if you feel hungry. Limiting fatty food such as fatty meats, cheeses, full-cream milk, fried foods, butter, etc. Use low-fat options where possible. Examples are: Skimmed or semi-skimmed instead of full-cream milk. Using low-fat, mono-unsaturated or polyunsaturated spreads instead of butter. If you eat meat, eating lean meat, or poultry such as chicken. Try to grill, bake or steam rather than fry food. If you do fry food, choose a vegetable oil such as sunflower, rapeseed or olive. Avoiding sugary drinks and foods such as chocolate, sweets, biscuits, cakes, etc. Limiting other foods likely to be high in fat or sugar such as some take-away or fast foods. Eating three meals a day and not skipping meals. Always have breakfast. Eat each meal slowly. Skipping meals will just make you feel more hungry, make you think more about food, and make you more likely to overeat in the evening or snack between meals.
