Hello- these vegetables and spices are beneficial for weight loss. Cucumber. The humble cucumber is one of the best vegetables for weight loss. Broccoli. When trying to lose weight, include plenty of broccoli in your diet. Beans. You might not have realized that beans actually count as vegetables. Spinach. Carrots. Celery. Peppers. Alfalfa sprouts.

The weight gain in the body is due to the more of the calories in your diet than you burn in the whole day. One should eat balanced diet comprising of Carbohydrates-50%, protein-40% and fat 10% in right ratio with a maximum of 1500-1800 calories per day. To keep satiety at meals increase your protein and lower your cabs content, these wills the amount of food in next meal and thus decrease calorie consumption. Good choices of protein to be opted are: •Egg white •Sprouts •Mushroom •Oats •Chicken and fish Drink plenty of water and do not include high density source of calorie rich snacks like nuts and seeds. Make sure to include workout schedule at least 5 times a week along with maintaining rest session and complete sleep for a healthy body and mind.

Firstly start doing surya namaskar in morning for amazing results, its more than just a weight loss exercise, it should be done empty stomach. Secondly start eating fruits and juices (seasonal fruit) every alternative days, and other alternatives days eat normal routine diet, do this for 90 days for best results.

You can go for liposuction on arms for removing extra fat but it will not cure stretch marks or droopy skin and scar for the procedure will remain

Follow these best tips to get in shape and loose weight.* body become over weight due to deposition of fatty tissues. First you should follow diet plan for weight loss. * in morning, take 2-3 chapattis witha bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of without cream milk after 2 hour of breakfast. *in lunch you can take a bowl of soup or salad. *in evening, you can take a cup of teawith glucose biscuits. *in dinner, you can take a bowl of fruits or 2 chapattis with a bowl of vegetables. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running.

You also seem to have thyroid problems for which you are taking medications. It's good that you stopped drinking. I would suggest you to consult your endocrinologist to revise your thyroxine doses according to your most recent reports. Start exercising and get a diet plan from a dietician to help in weight loss. Always remember it's not magical! since you didnot gain overnight you won't lose weight overnight either. Good luck and take care.

Potatoes are crammed with carbohydrates. All forms of this stuffy food have major impact on weight gain. You can grill or bake potatoes with butter. People who eat potato chips and French fries tend to gain weight faster. Make French fries using extra virgin oil, if you like them.  Moreover, you can also make a delicious potato salad. Peel and slice potato. Boil them and mix them with the high calorie ingredients like buttermilk, mayonnaise, and veggies.

Eat lesser calories than you spend. And what bever calories you eat, should be metabolised with the support of warm water and herbs. Pl consult for best herbal combos. For the time being start drinking paneer ke phool strain daily morning for two months. Report every two weeks to get tips in between.

You should take low calorie diet, eat more salads, reduce the amount of carbohydrates you take, eat less chapatis, less rice. Take more milk and fruits as you will need energy to meet the requirements of various exercises you do.

Hyena,  Thanks for the query. There’s no overnight fix when it comes to healthy weight loss, but you can adjust your lifestyle to promote quick, natural weight loss for the benefit of your health and your appearance. Successful, long-term weight management needs to focus on more than the food you eat and the pounds you lose. It needs to focus on your overall health. Reshape your body and your lifestyle by adopting healthy habits and breaking unhealthy ones. Replace all processed foods in your diet with vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low-fat dairy, lean meats, eggs, legumes, nuts, seeds and seafood. Focus on the variety of whole, unprocessed foods you can eat instead of dwelling on the junk food you eliminated from your diet. Eat smaller portions at every meal and avoid going back for seconds. Take a smaller scoop of rice,  half of a piece of chicken instead of a whole piece and one less egg in your morning omelet, for example. Make time for breakfast every morning. Eating breakfast helps prevent overeating and is a habit of people who successfully lose weight. Pack to-go meals instead of eating convenience foods when you’re not home. Store foods like chopped fruits and vegetables or cooked grains, legumes, eggs and meats in your refrigerator so you always have something to grab when you’re in a rush. Buy fresh vegetables and fruits from the grocery store if you forget to bring healthful food from home. When you can’t avoid dining at a restaurant, opt for a salad as a starter, and always ask for the dressing on the side. Clear soups, lean meats, seafood and grain-based dishes like roti, whole grain bread are other good choices. Exercise for 30 to 60 minutes at least three times per week to build muscle and burn more calories. Pilates, strength training, aerobics, swimming, dancing and yoga or a sport like football are ideal choices. If you’re new to exercising, start with brisk walking and jogging. Adopt physically demanding hobbies like bicycling, hiking, jogging, power walking to promote faster weight loss. If you don’t have time for new hobbies, increase your physical activity with things like walking the dog, playing with the kids or jogging instead of driving to a nearby store or taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

I am 18 years old girl. I weigh 95 kgs. I am gng through a lot of stress. I am the eldest child in the house. I live in joint family. There are Twp siblings of mine the younger one. They r good at almost everything and m not m just an average girl. So I feel inferior and my family members also think that m not useful to anything. I have tried to commit suicide in front of them but still they don't care. After that I know that even if I die there will be no difference in there life there is no way I can commit suicide just make them understand my existence. Committing or trying to commit suicide is not a way of showing our importance in others' lives. I can completely understand the level of stress you are going through, but there is always a better way of handling it. I sincerely feel that your depressive symptoms, self harm thoughts and being overweight could be a part of hormonal imbalance. So I would advise you to do a complete hormonal profile including thyroid hormones, serum dhea levels, serum testosterone levels etc. Consult a gynecologist to rule out pcod if you continue to feel depressed and have feelings of hopelessness nad worthlessness, I would recommend you to visit a psychiatrist personally and start treatment and counselling. Depression is treatable so are hormonal problem. I am sure you will feel much better after treatments.

Hi. I am 24 years old girl, and I am over weighted person who tries to lose weight asap. My current weight is 118kgs, height is 5'1" I tried drinking warm water with amla juice, honey, lemon juice, meal replacement milk shakes, etc. But my weight still remains same.I don't know what to do further. Diets are very hard for me to follow. At least I want to take some useful weight loss pills which works better on me. I'm also scared of side effects. Hi lybrate-user, there are two pillars for weight loss. Diet and exercise. Thought right diet can control further weight gain and assure overall health, exercise is must for weight reduction. 30 mins walk (to start with), with well-balanced diet (depending on your heath condition) can lead to gradual and healthy weight loss. Slowly using medicines, without proper diet and exercise will not be effective for weight loss. I would be happy to help you.

What are the efficient ways and exercises to reduce the belly fat? Without any side effects.
Belly fat is not due to eating less or more. It is due to your body tendency to put on fat around your waist. But there is no such thing called spot reduction, it means you can not lose your weight only around stomach. You have to pay attention to your whole body to be fit and toned. Sometimes stomach also comes out due to digestion problems and too much toxins in your body. Please follow a healthy diet and workout and you will start seeing results. For a start please follow: 1. Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2. Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3. Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4. Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A. Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B. At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c. Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D. Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E. Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F. Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G. Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Panner & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H. Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.
