Hi, Consume olive oil. Extra virgin olive oil may be more healthful than processed olive oils. Follow a low-carb or ketogenic diet. Exercise regularly. Add coconut oil to your diet. Stop smoking. Lose weight. . Eat fatty fish often.

I am getting very fat day by day what should be the daily diet plan for an Indian guy?
Healthy meals coupled with some workout can lead you to your weight loss goal. Overeating, seadentary lifestyle, Hormonal issues, etc can make a person gain weight. Look for ways to improve your metabolism, eat smaller 5-6 meals a day, Do workout, Keep yourself well hydrated, get good sleep. Drink enough water , Cut down on sugar and salt, Have heavy breakfast and very light dinner , Go for no carb dinner, drink 2-3 cups of green tea , Cut down on refined carbs and have a diet rich in Protein and fiber. Also exercise daily for atleast 30 min.

I am 70 years widower and weigh 88 kg. normally keep good health. I have impingement in left hip joint. Advised to loose weight by orthopedician. My diet is meagre by all standards - eat light breakfast -lunch is two small chapaties with a cup of curd and vegetables plus salad. Dinner I am having vegetable soup and booked veg plus fresh fruits. Cooking oil used is CANOLA and salt content is low. I do not consume SUGAR. My daily routine consists of going to factory at 10 am and come back at 7 PM. Walk for 30 minutes and do ironing of my clothes. On the whole am healthy -niggles apart - have no ailment. Yes had an HEART ATTACK after my wife passed away in 2002 - had a STENT PUT IN. My question is I have to live alone -yes have my only son living in Delhi with his wife - and wish to remain fit and well to spend the rest of my life. Please advise how to control my weight and reduce my BELLY. THANKS A LOT FOR READING -

Thus the excess carbs that are consumed, are gone for fat storage, Therefore We need to arrest this process.

Hello, according to your height, your weight should be around 55 kg. To gain weight, you should eat every 2-3 hours. Have 6 -7 meals in a day with healthy and high calorie foods. Include milkshakes, cheese sandwiches, paneer or aloo parathas in your breakfast. Lunch and dinner should be 3 - 4 chapatis with vegetable, rice and dal. Add a sweetdish after meals. Hi Sir, I have reduced my weight from 111 kg to 101 kg in 8 months. I have stop taking rice in lunch and dinner and eating Quinoa for lunch and two roti at night. I walk for 5000 steps daily. Does in long term will there be any effect of not eating rice at all on my body?

You can lose 4 - 6 kg weight every month with our customized daily diet plans. In general, few tips for weight loss include: Have small and frequent meals instead of 3 main meals in a day. Avoid sweets and sugar based foods, fried foods and heavy dinners. Include 2 - 3 servings of fruits and vegetables. Go for atleast 30 - 40 min of brisk walks / jogging every day. Have a light and early diner (by 8 Pm) and no salt intake after 8-8: 30 pm. Have a diet rich in protein and fiber.
