Hello, Hello, To prevent tooth decay: Brush your teeth at least twice a day with a fluoride-containing toothpaste. Preferably, brush after each meal and especially before going to bed. Clean between your teeth daily with dental floss or interdental cleaners, such as the Oral-B Interdental Brush, Reach Stim-U-Dent. Eat nutritious and balanced meals and limit snacks. Avoid carbohydrates such as candy, pretzels and chips, which can remain on the tooth surface. If sticky foods are eaten, brush your teeth soon afterwards. Check with your dentist about use of supplemental fluoride, which strengthens your teeth. Ask your dentist about dental sealants (a plastic protective coating) applied to the chewing surfaces of your back teeth (molars) to protect them from decay. Drink fluoridated water. At least a pint of fluoridated water each day is needed to protect children from tooth decay. Visit your dentist regularly for professional cleanings and oral exam. Use SBL's (homoeopathic) Homoeodent tooth paste for good results.

I have bad breath problem since 6 yr. I have visited many dentists they said. There is no problem in my mouth although always have bad smell and taste in my mouth even dry mouth specially in the morning. I also feel bad smell coming out of my nose also. I brush twice still could not get rid of this problem. I do not thing scaling will help me as I have this problem for way long years.

Bad breathe could be due to other reasons also like gastritis or gastrointestinal conditions. As you said dry mouth. Dry mouth could be due to mouth breathing at night due to nasal blockage ultimately bad breathe. So go step by step for cure. Exercise properly to relieve your nasal symptoms and try and stop breathing from mouth. You could go for consultation with an ENT or laryngologist. You shoul take drugs for proper salivation but to some limited extent. Try retaining body fluid by drinking water and juices. Get your full body check up for vital organs like kidney liver thyroid heart etc. Go for a gastroentrologist for gastric gases which also emit bad odour due to nitogenous gases or sulfur gases. Do not panic. You are perfectly alright. If you care you should take care.

Lots of inflammations on left cheek below eye due to dental or gums problem since 2 days. Given her Tab Moxikind- CV 625 1 BD Tab ACF SP 1BD nutrolin B 1 OD The problem remains without subsiding. Same problem got subsided after taking above medical treatment a year ago. However this year swelling is much more.

You may get white teeth upon dental consultation for sure. But kindly consider adjunct condition like-avoid smoking, tobacco (if taken, long term medicines, high level of water impurities etc etc. Bcz once you whiten your teeth if these things persist it may occur over time again.

A major cause of tooth sensitivity is root exposure. Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need cleaning along with desensitizing procedures and / or artificial enamel filling and / or root canal treatment. Advance procedures can be done with laser too. You may consult me in person. Until then apply a desensitizing paste (Sensodyne Tooth paste) on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min until you brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight will be better.

If you wear dentures, the general rule is: brush, soak, brush. Always clean your dentures over a bowl of water or a folded towel in case you drop them. Brush your dentures before soaking, to help remove any food debris. Using an effervescent (fizzy) denture cleaner will help remove stubborn stains and leave your denture feeling fresher.

Here are 7 natural ways to help cure the problem of bad breath at the systemic level through diet:


1. Drink more water

Believe it or not, dehydration is one of the most common causes of bad breath. Many people drink far too little water throughout the day to ward off the bacteria in the mouth that are most responsible for causing bad breath. Tiny microbes in the mouth actually feed on loose food particles throughout the day, releasing odor-causing byproducts that end up stinking up breath. And all-natural saliva, it turns out, is your body's built-in remedy for eliminating these bacteria.
It is possible for chronic dry dry mouth conditions to play a part in the development of bad breath. Dry mouth is caused by the decomposition of dead cells in your mouth and on your tongue. This decomposition results in an unpleasant door.

But in order for your body to produce enough bacteria-fighting saliva, you must be drinking plenty of clean, fluoride-free water throughout the day. Since saliva is full of oxygen, bacteria have a much harder time surviving because they require low-oxygen environments in order to thrive. Saliva also contains natural enzymes that help stimulate the production of antibodies that neutralize bacteria, which end up getting eliminated when you swish with water, mouthwash, or other oral hygiene products.


2. Supplement with zinc

Another common cause of halitosis is a deficiency in the mineral zinc, which helps maintain a clean, bacteria-free mouth. Some mouthwash products actually contain zinc as an active ingredient because the mineral is a known antimicrobial, and aids in the neutralization and elimination of harmful germs. Halitosis (bad smell from mouth/breath) 1. Halitosis could be due to poor oral hygiene/ gingivitis/caries tooth/ smoking/tobacco chewing/dry mouth/ sinusitis 2. Maintain good oral hygiene by brushing your teeth twice daily, clean tongue thoroughly 3. Rinse your mouth with hexidine/betadine mouth wash 2-3 times daily 4. Avoid smoking/chewing tobacco if any 5. Use dental flush to clean food particle stuck in between teeth 6. Consult dentist for examination of oral cavity and follow advice and treatment accordingly.

Your body is giving u hint, it needs treatment, dont ignore it otherwise latter your doctor will only say its too late, to point your teeth most probably need restoration which costs 300- 3000 depending on doctor and material you choose if u wait long, then treatment cost and pain both will increase
