I have a doubt about universal donor blood group. Which blood group is universal donor and why?

BHMS
Homeopath, Greater Noida
Hi lgbrate user, At one time, type O negative blood was considered the universal blood donor type. This implied that anyone — regardless of blood type — could receive type O negative blood without risking a transfusion reaction. But it's now known that even type O negative blood may have antibodies that cause serious reactions during a transfusion. And blood transfusions in general carry some risk of complications. Blood may be classified as one of these four types: Type A Type B Type AB Type O Blood is also classified by rhesus (Rh) factor, which refers to a specific red blood cell antigen in the blood. If your blood has the antigen, you're Rh positive. If your blood lacks the antigen, you're Rh negative. Ideally, blood transfusions are done with donated blood that's an exact match for type and Rh factor. Even then, small samples of the recipient's and donor's blood are mixed to check compatibility in a process known as crossmatching. In an emergency, type O negative red blood cells may be given to anyone — especially if the situation is life-threatening or the matching blood type is in short supply. Have a good day.

Looks like I have got piles. It's in initial stage. Because of hard stool. I loose few drops of bloods how can I treat this?

BHMS
Homeopath, Greater Noida
Hi lybrate user, you have to take some first hand precautions to prevent your problem from further increasing. 1. Drink plenty of water. And develop habit of drinking a glass or two of warm water first thing in the morning as soon as you wake up. 2. Increase fibrous food in your diet. Which include oats, brown rice, wholewheat products, veggies and fruits (the crunchier the better). 3. Avoid fried and spicy food as they may aggravate your troubles. 4. If you're a non-vegetarian, cut down your consumption of red meat. White meat is considered a healthier option. These precautions if well taken will help you cope up with your problem if it's in initial state. But nonetheless if you are not satisfied you can always consult any doctor here on lybrate or anywhere for medications. Homoeopathy itself offers a wide range of medicines for piles and that too without any side-effects. Have a good day.

IM 22 years and im having migraine attacks everyday is due to the computer job or anything else? I have to sit in front of the computer for about 9 hours per day. Please reply as soon as possible.

BHMS
Homeopath, Greater Noida
Hi lybrate user, using computer for long hours can be a possible causation of your migraine attacks. Staring at a computer monitor for hours on end inevitably, put a real strain on your eyes. Working on a computer is more challenging to your eyes than reading a book or piece of paper, because a computer screen also adds the elements of screen contrast, flicker, and glare. Give your eyes a break. Look away from the screen every 20 minutes or so and either gaze out the window or scan the room for about 20 seconds to rest your eyes. Blink often to keep the eyes moist. If eyes are getting overly dry, try using lubricating eyedrops. You can also change the lighting around you to reduce glare on the computer screen. Putting a glare filter over the screen monitor can help protect your eyes. Your wrong posture can also be a cause of your migraines because all factors combined could act as a trigger for your migraines. All these points should help you with your problem. Homoeopathy have a very good scope in treating migraine problems. Good day.
