Being underweight is also one of the common problem in todays world just like being overweight is. Reasons for the same could be many like genetic or diet or malabsorption etc. People who are underweight are more prone to various illnesses like osteoporosis, infections due to weakened immunity, infertility etc .Ayurvedic Medicine for Weight Gain includes 1. Chyavanprash 2. Vasant Kusumakar Ras 3. Ashwagandha Churna 4. Saatavari 5. Annonna Squamosa 6. Yashtimadhu. You can trust on Ayurveda for several reasons. Primarily, ayurvedic doses are mild. Secondly, most of the ayurvedic medicines do not have side effects. Finally, ayurvedic medicines are inexpensive and easily available everywhere.

Various weight loss programs and they either fail or regain weight later. If you have lost all the hopes of losing weight, you won't ever be able to lose weight. So, first of all, prepare yourself mentally. I myself and many of my patients have lost weight very easily with these simple steps. By now if you are confident and desperate to lose weight, you are very likely to succeed. But if you aren't motivated enough or aren't yet confident, this article may not help you. 2nd step - Understanding the calorie balance You might have tried and failed earlier. That's expected when we try to do something without understanding it. If you are curious to understand the basics of calorie balance in our body you may go through this beautiful article explaining it in simple language. Glucose is the basic source of energy for our body and even if you are just lying down on the bed, you need approximately 1800-2000 calories per day. The major source of glucose for our body is carbohydrates in our diet. The body starts burning fats only when it is short of glucose supply from the diet. 3rd step - The right diet Stop sugar and sugar-containing products completely. If you are fond of sweets replace it with artificial sweeteners. You can use the artificial sweeteners like Splenda, Equal, Sugar-Free in tea, milk and for making desserts. You can also buy readymade sugarless products like sweets, cookies, ice cream etc. Have lots of salads before every meal. The quantity should be good enough to make your stomach full. With lots of salads and vegetables you might feel full but still, the hunger won't go away. For that, you should then have protein-rich food item. If you are a vegetarian have 3-4 bowls of Dal. You may keep changing the Dal and recipe so that you don't get bored of the taste. If you are a non-vegetarian there are several others options like eggs, fish, chicken, mutton. Once you had protein-rich food item you won't feel like eating. Then if you still feel like having Roti or Rice, you can have it but limit the quantity to 1/4th of your routine diet. Once you start following this diet, don't check your weight at least for a month. You can expect a weight loss of 3-4 kgs visible in 3 months. If you continue the diet, you may lose further and would be able to maintain it. Myths and Facts About Weight Loss Weight loss is a long journey with many misconceptions attached to it. 9 Myths About Infertility - Debunked!

Infertility or trouble conceiving is getting more common among couples. Sometimes we might hear advice from friends and family or get emails on the best ways to overcome this problem. Most often this information is unhelpful and wrong. Listed below are some of the myths about infertility:

  1. You need to be relaxed: Chronic stress can cause infertility but the condition itself is medical. Whereas a relaxing vacation can help if infertility is being caused by stress it might be useful to first get a thorough check-up to rule out any medical conditions.
  2. Infertility is a woman’ problem: Infertility affects both men and women and is not just a woman’s issue. In woman conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome or PCOS, endometriosis, family history and pelvic issues can have an impact on fertility. Whereas in men conditions such as surgery or infections can cause infertility. Infertility in a couple can be caused by either the male or female factors or a combination of both. In some cases, the cause of infertility can remain unexplained
  3. Age: It is a well-known and proven fact that a woman’s fertility decreases between the ages of 32 to 37 years, there is a decrease in the quality and quantity of eggs produced. However, the rates of male infertility also increase with age. A decrease in semen volume and motility can be experienced by men over the age of 40 years
  4. Health does not impact fertility: A healthy diet and a weight as close to your ideal weight play an important role in helping you conceive. Being overweight will not only reduce your chances of conceiving but can also pose several health risks for the mother and child such as gestational diabetes and a risk of heart disease. Overweight expectant mothers also have a greater risk of miscarriage.
  5. Infertility is not a cause for concern if you already have a child: As mentioned above, age is an important factor to consider when dealing with infertility. In addition to age, certain other changes such as weight gain and internal complications caused by the earlier pregnancy can have an impact on getting pregnant a second time.
  6. Birth control increases the risk of infertility: The use of birth control methods such as pills are necessary if a woman does not wish to get pregnant. But when you stop birth control options the menstrual cycle will regulate and you should not have too much trouble conceiving.
  7. Breastfeeding will prevent you from getting pregnant: This is not true for all women. According to experts, you need to check if the following are also present: a) complete lack of a period after delivery, b) the baby is only being breastfed and not on any other liquids or solid food c) the baby is less than 6 months
  8. It’s easy to get pregnant: For couples that are 35 years and below, the chances of getting pregnant is about 20% each month. The conditions necessary for a woman to get pregnant would also have to be right. The sperm would need to reach and fertilize the egg at the peak of ovulation when the endometrial lining is the thickest. Therefore timing and conditions are crucial.
  9. Certain foods and sex positions will help you get pregnant: This is just not true. It can also not help in determining the sex of the child.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

Take a warm or lukewarm bath. Start off by drawing a warm bath. Have the person suffering from the fever get in and relax while the warm temperature of the water slowly drops. Because the temperature of the water drops slowly, the person cools down slowly as well. You don't want the water too cool because you don't want to drop the body temperature too fast. Use a wet towel treatment. Take one or two hand towels and fold lengthwise. Soak the towels in either very cold or ice water. Wring out the excess water and wrap the towel around the head, around the neck, around the ankles or around the wrists. Don’t use the towels over more than two areas-- that is, use the towel around the head and the ankles or around the neck and wrists. Otherwise, you may cool down TOO much. The cool or cold towels draw heat out of the body and can lower the body temperature. Repeat when the towel is dry or not cool enough anymore to give relief. This can be repeated as often as needed. Snack on healthy fruits. Choose fruits such as berries, watermelon, oranges and cantaloupe. These are rich in Vitamin C, which can help fight infections and lower fever. They'll also help keep you hydrated. Avoid heavy, fatty or oily foods like barbecued or fried foods. Avoid spicy foods like chicken wings, pepperoni, or sausages too. Eat some soup. While you can have chicken broth on its own, you could also eat chicken soup with rice and some vegetables. Studies have shown that chicken soup may actually have medicinal properties. It will also help keep you hydrated. Make sure you include a good and easily digested source of protein such as scrambled eggs or chicken (add a few pieces of meat to your chicken broth). Drink plenty of water. Fever can lead to dehydration which can make the sufferer feel worse. Avoid dehydration by drinking plenty of water or an oral rehydration FOR MEDICATION CONSULT ONLINE IN PRIVATE
