Good afternoon doctor. I am suffering from anal fissure from last 6 months and taking homeopathic treatment. But as I am little overweight (83 kg -175 cm), I want to make a body with some good muscles. So my issue is, that can I take protein resources/power for muscles if it does not affect my fissure. Or should I drop this idea?

I am very slim so I want looking good then I eat many thing but no effect in my health. So what should I do.

1. Protein is the key for the muscle building. Without adequate protein, muscle gain and growth is not possible because weight training demands for amino acids (which comes from protein). You should daily eat about 2.2g of protein per kilogram of your weight. For example, if you are 50kg , then you should eat 50x2.2=111g of protein spread over 5-6 meals in the day. Include high protein foods in your diet. Your protein intake should be from foods rather than from supplements. Good protein foods: beans, soybeans, whey, fish, dairy products (low fat variety), meats, nuts and seeds (almonds, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds), peanut butter. Many of these are easy digestible foods. Milk is one of the best muscle foods. The milk contains two high quality proteins, about 80 percent whey and 20 percent casein. Whey is quickly broken down into amino acids and absorbed into the bloodstream. Whey is very good to consume after workout. Casein is digested more slowly and provides the body with a steady supply of protein for a longer period of time. Cheese is concentrated milk, so it is high in protein and calcium, fat and cholesterol. Include healthy skim yogurt in your diet, which can give you as much as 120 calories. 2. Eat custard apple (Saripa, Sitaphal) to put on some weight. This fruit is high in calorie. 3. Healthy fats: Avoid fatty foods. Most mothers, especially in India give too much ghee or butter to their children, thinking they will put flesh fast. But ghee is mostly saturated fat which is not a healthy fat for any body. Healthy fats are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats and omega-3 fatty acids. Good fats: cold pressed oils (olive, sunflower, linseed, canola ). 4. Drink pure fruit juice. It is full of sugar and added nutrients so it is a healthy and nutritious way to gain some pounds. 5. Complex carbohydrates are also needed for gaining weight.. Corn bread is also full of carbohydrates, one piece gives approximately 328 calories. Potatoes are rich sources of carbohydrates and complex sugars, eat baked or as grilled potatoes. Pasta is a calorie rich cereal carbohydrates. 6. Eat bananas. These are rich in carbs and nutritious, one banana contains approximately 100 calories. 7. Some people think that drinking beer helps, but it is not true, it accumulates in your abdomen, making it fatty. 8. Don't take protein supplements for gaining muscles. Consult your doctor for protein supplements. 9. Non Vegetarian Foods Some of the non-vegetarian foods that help increase weight are given below: 1. Red Meat lean ground beef, lean steaks. 2. Pork, ham, lamb 3. Fish: Eat two portions of salmon, cod, or tuna every day. 4. Shrimps: The nutrients and necessary acid content present in shrimps gives healthy calories. 5. Turkey 6. Chicken breast Chicken breast, is supposed to be the healthiest and non-fat part which has approximately 78 calories for each serving. 7. Whole eggs: Eggs are loaded with protein, vitamins A,D and E.

Vertigo - How Ayurveda Can Help You Treat it?

Vertigo - How Ayurveda Can Help You Treat it?

Are you aware of the causes and symptoms of vertigo? Also known as bhrama, vertigo is a balance disorder. It is also referred to as a spinning sensation and head rush. A sense of spinning of the nearby surroundings is experienced by a person affected with vertigo. Standing in an upright position becomes difficult. The onset of this condition occurs in several ways. Ayurveda has a complex explanation for vertigo or bhrama, which is as follows:

Ayurvedic approach
According to Ayurveda, vertigo is caused because of your pitta and vata doshas.

  • When the vata and pitta doshas get excited, an abnormal functioning of the balance mechanism within your inner ear is caused.
  • A vestibular imbalance, or an imbalance in the inner part of your ear is the primary cause of vertigo. It disrupts the coordination of a stimulus and response.
  • Any defect or disruption in the proper flow of oxygen to the ear can result in vertigo attacks.

Factors causing imbalance in doshas

  • Viral infections like common cold
  • Ear problems like discharges, infections in the ear cavity, and perforation of the eardrum
  • Certain cardiovascular diseases such as low blood pressure, valve diseases, and improper heart rhythms
  • Migraine and anemia
  • Certain neck ailments such as cervical spondylosis
  • Arthritis and injury to the head that leads to concussions

Ayurvedic treatment

Several Ayurvedic herbs and remedies are used for the treatment of vertigo. These herbs are added to a patient’s regular diet. They are as follows:

  • Ashwagandha improves the flow of oxygen in your body. It is commonly used for dealing with respiratory problems that result in vertigo or bhrama.
  • Ginkgo is the most effective Ayurvedic herb for curbing all forms of circulatory problems. It enhances the flow of oxygen to various parts of your body. It is ideal for the reduction and elimination of vertigo. It also cures ringing in the ears, which is a common vertigo symptom.
  • The roots of the vacha tree are effective in giving relief to vertigo patients.
  • A concoction made of Guduchi Kasaya is effective in curing a vertigo. One should have 30ml of the concoction every morning, at least half an hour before breakfast.
  • Other important Ayurvedic remedies that help with vertigo management include Triphala, Sarpagandha, Yogendra rasa, Saraswatarishtha, and many others.

It is recommended for you to consult an Ayurvedic practitioner before starting Ayurvedic treatment for vertigo on your own. He will be able to diagnose your condition and severity, and accordingly prescribe the best treatment.

U don't need to worry if flow amount is normal. Since you didn't get menses for almost 3 months, its normal to get little heavy bleeding when you do get your menses. You need to consult your doctor to regularise your cycles. Without personal consultation, you can't expect good cure.

Hello- The veins in your body are capable of withstanding only a certain amount of pressure. Exceed the pressure and the body can experience a stroke or heart attack. As the blood moves through arteries, arterioles, capillaries and veins, the pressure decreases. When pressure remains consistently high, the pressure damages the arteries and veins. Damaged veins and arteries can lead to hypertension, cardiovascular disease and impotence. Yes, even the hypertension medications can cause impotence. Fortunately Htn related ED can be cured without affecting your general health by the help of safe herbal remedies. It will also help reducing your hypertension too.

Leucorrhoea is a sticky, watery, whitish discharge of mucus from the vaginal passage. It may occur normally at all times and its quantity may increase before and after menstruation. An abnormal and large discharge may indicate some infection in the uterus, cervix and lower reproductive tract, for example vaginitis, ulceration or suppurative swelling of vagina, extending to cervix, causing endocervicitis (inflammation of the mucous lining of the neck of the womb) in which surface cells, i. E, epithelium, may die. Therefore, destruction of these cells and their debris results in their white or yellow discharge from the vaginal opening. (see also trichomonas vaginalis under vaginitis.) in some cases the swelling of uterus (metritis) or mucosa of the uterus (endometritis) causes excessive leucorrhoea with pressing down in the vagina and in some cases with a sensation as if everything would pass out through the vagina. Leucorrhoea has different types of discharges with different colours. In some cases, it is albuminous, thick, slimy, white mucous like pieces of curd or white of an egg and in some cases it is watery, acrid and corroding in nature. There is itching in the vaginal passage and discharge has offensive smell. It has various colours white, pale yellow, yellowish green, ash-grey, blood or pink colour.
