I am having sciatica. The most pain is in the buttocks hips thighs and calf region of leg. Burning sensation ks also there. I am doing yoga exercises and taking hot water bath with eucalyptus oil. What other things I should be doing? I have taken physiotherapy treatments also. Pain still persists and its a constant pain. Please help.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

You need not do anything to increase it an I comes normally to normal levels A low number of monocytes in the blood usually indicates an increased risk for infections. A low monocyte blood count may occur because of a range of diseases that affect the bone marrow, such as rheumatoid arthritis, HIV or lupus.

Excessive sweating could be due to 1.Anxiety, nervousness 2 Obesity, Diabetes, Thyroid problem, Tuberculosis, Gout, head injury 3.Alcoholism or due to effect of some anti hypertensive and psychiatric drugs (pregnancy,menopause) 4. Investigate yourself to rule out these diseases 5.Avoid anxiety ,nervousness,tea/coffee, alcohol, spicy food, chocolate etc 6.Try some anti antiperspirant lotion or roll on. 7.Consult skin specialist for advice

Hi vitamin d is important for all mostly women, pregnancy, lactation, old age etc more required. For you take normally by foods like dairy products, organic protien based foods, egg, milk, fish, stem based vegetables, fibre rich all cereals, banana, curd etc.

If diabetes has developed following certain drugs as mentioned, some times when the drug which has caused it, if discontinued, sugar levels may be reduced or even become normal. So it is very difficult to tell whether the diabetes can be controlled without drug or not. It will be good if a complete diabetic profile is done - fasting, pp hba1c% and even lipid profile. Report the same then I will be able to guide. In the mean time she should avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods and pastries and sweetened aerated drinks. Consume more of green leafy vegetables and salads. Take care with regards.

You must immediately seek help from a counselor. Your fear is creating an obsession and that is leading to anxiety. The stress of this anxiety is causing the indigestion and therefore weakness. Before it gets out of control and difficult to deal with seek help earlier, especially about this fear. If the fear is of recent origin, you could perhaps identify it and deal with it. But if it is from a long past, then much work has to be done to sort that out. If medication is required please cooperate with both the therapies to get the best results. Sometimes this kind of nervousness could be genetic too. In the meantime you must do certain things to build your constitution physically, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. Mental stability can be achieved by learning a few skills in handling emotions in an appropriate manner. Stress management skills, which have a lot to do with expressing emotions, will need to be a major part of your recovery program. Emotionally you need the help of a counselor and that will help you tremendously to move from anxiety to normal fear. Please persevere and cooperate through all the support you need and you will come through successfully. Develop your body’s health by physical fitness through exercise, good rest (sleep), and a proper diet. Any way what you need to focus on is to do vigorous exercise of the aerobic kind for the heart’s fitness; meditation for the brain’s fitness; sleep for a well rested mind and body; a sound spiritual well being for good confidence and stability; and a diet with lots of vegetables, fruits, and whole grains. Vigorous exercise, especially of the callisthenic kind, will make your heart, which is a muscle, grow larger; and then your heart will need to beat less often and you will respond to the anxiety with a calmer disposition. If your mind, constitution, and your emotions are in check and fit, you will never be disturbed again.

Hi, I hav erectile dysfunction from past 2 yrs. Which has been increasing (decrease in erection) gradually. Also hav pimples (too much) all over my back & shoulders, there is a change in clr of my urine, little pain sometimes @ my lower left back, frequent knee and chest pain, drastic increase in grey hair, terrible pain in both d legs (from abdominal to foot) and decrease quality of sperm.

There are some guidelines for insomnia or in ability to sleep. Avoid stimulating food and drinks 2-4 hours before bedtime. Eg. Tea, coffee, cold drinks. Don't do mentally stimulating work before bedtime- solving puzzles, playing interesting mobile games. Recent studies stay the high exposure to screens has disrupted our natural circadian rhythm. Using blue light in mobiles and other devices decreases this effect. Ensure adequate physical work during day. Learn to deal with stress. Stress and anxiety can be major detergent to sleep. If theye guidelines don't help, discuss with a friend or family or consult a psychologist or physician.

Take proper balanced vegetarian diet. Take lots of water and fluids. Avoid non veg and eggs. Do meditation for mental strength by doing slow and deep breathing relaxation exercises in the morning. Sleeping naked doesn't improve the health of penis.

Please note the following for your condition: • Avoid big meals late in the evening. You need three to four hours to digest a big meal. • Spicy or sugary food, even at suppertime, is usually a bad idea. Spices can irritate your stomach, and when it tosses and turns, so will you. Having a lot of sugary food—especially chocolate, which contains caffeine—can make you feel jumpy. • Try a soothing aromatic bath before bedtime. Add 5 drops lavender oil and 3 drops ylang-ylang oil to warm bathwater and enjoy a nice soak.

Treatment depends on cause of jaundice. Eat a high-fiber diet. Get insoluble and soluble fiber. Limit foods that are high in fat. Choose lean meats. Incorporate probiotics into your diet. Eat on schedule. Stay hydrated.
