I am diabetic since 1998. My age is 66 years. At present I take Glypride 2 mg BD. Roimet 850 mg BD. Poiz 15 mg OD (after dinner). The BS level of Yesterday are 139 Morning and 208 after lunch. The BS level is almost same since last three months. Kindly suggested to maintain the BS level properly.

Dear , your sugars are slightly higher than the recommended levels. You can try improving your diet & exercise regimens as you are already on maximum doses of your medications. There is one new tablet invokana 100 mg which is available now. It is expensive. Approx 40- 45 rs per tablet. You can try taking it once a day after breakfast & see. This will be in addition to the other tablets you are already taking. If this is fine with you then probably your sugars might come down. Or else you need to start insulin.

1. Keep yourself hydrated. 2. Get extra rest for some days till you feel more energetic. 3. Avoid watching television for long hours. Indulge in relaxing activities. 4. Avoid stress and too much physical exertion. 5. Take a nutritious diet with more protein items in homemade food like soya, sprouts, dals, paneer, milk, seasonal fruits. 6. Do light physical activity, meditation and yoga. 7. Take one good multivitamin tablet after food for 7 days.

1. Eat a balanced diet rich in proteins, minerals, vitamins, and fat. 2.Fill your diet with a wide range of fruits, vegetables, lean meats, fish, eggs, pulses, nuts, seeds, wholegrains and naturally low fat dairy foods. 3.Donot skip breakfast. 4.Drink plenty of fluids and water. 5.Exercise is an extremely important factor in staying healthy so try to be active. 6.Make sure you get enough sleep ? it's an essential part of being healthy.While we're asleep, our bodies have that all-important time to repair. 7..Apply Apricot and avocado oil mixed with glycerin can be massaged on the face followed by warm toweling for an instant glow.

As per your concern I would suggest you to do following remedy 1. Cut, de-seed and crush 4-5 Indian gooseberries to paste 2. Press this paste on a sieve and extract the juice 3. Take 2 tsp of this Indian gooseberry juice 4. Add ½ tsp nutmeg powder 5. Mix well 6. Drink 2 times a day This is very helpful Your problem is permanently cure by ayurvedic treatment.

Stop experiencing with selfmedication. Do not scratch your pimples as it will leave more marks. Get consulted with your dermatologist. Meanwhile use good sunscreen having spf-20-30 to prevent further darkening of marks. Wash your face frequently with water if its more oily. You can also use facewash containg salisylic acid or teatree oil.

Hair fall problem is increasing nowadays. Start below mention tips: 1. Eat healthy and balanced food like pulses (soyabean is best for hair), egg, green leafy vegetables, fishes, fruits and nuts etc. 2. Drink more water (12 to 15 glasses per day) 3. Avoid stress and anger 4. For prevention of fungal infection in scalp wash your hair regularly with some good shampoo. You can use conditioner for smoothing of hair quality. 5. Avoid combing of wet hair. 6. Do not share your towel or comb with other people. For further management consult me on private.

1. Daily cleansing of skin should be done, but avoid regular use of antimicrobial soaps.

2. Skin folds or creases (groin, underarms, abdominal folds) need to be kept clean and dry. Increased moisture and warmth in these areas may act as a good environment for microbial proliferation.

3. Wear cotton clothes in summers. One should preferably use a footwear with good aeration if frequently getting foot infections or use powder prior to wearing shocks and try to remove shoes and provide aeration to feet during recces time.

4. Skin rashes can not only be due to infections, but also be caused by allergy to footwear, cosmetics, tapes, soaps, fabrics, color leaching out of fabric, jeans buttons or sometimes due to irritant dermatitis on coming in contact with irritants like certain highly concentrated disinfectants, etc whole body rashes could result from food or drug allergies or viral exanthem (viral fevers). Consult a dermatologist to ascertain the type of rash and take proper treatment. Avoid self medication as it may complicate your condition. E. G. A rash of hepres zoster may be mistakenly treated by self medication and when it does not respond one reaches the doctor late when actually the treatment should have better results when started within 72 hours, and best if started within 24 hours. The risk of postherpetic neuralgia that is pain persisting after treatment for herpes zoster skin rash is higher when treatment not started early.

5. Use moisturizing creams or ointments for dry skin. Avoid alcohol based products over dry skin as it will cause further dryness.

6. For people with urinary and stool incontinence- use good diaper and change them frequently. Change diapers immediatley on soiling with stool. Urine and stools can irritate the skin and damage the skin barrier and cause breakdown of skin- red rashes, raw areas.

7. Avoid frequent use of excessive talc powders as they can" cake up" and keep moisture in and thus promote microbial growth in folds especially over neck fold of small children.

8. Use proper fitting footwear with soft soles to avoid hardening of skin at pressure points. Regularly use moisturizer over feet at bedtime to keep the feet soft and supple. Weekly soaking the feet in lukewarm water for 20 min and pat dry and apply moisturizer at night would keep feet softer. For diabetics if they have neuropathy use plain tap water or lukewarm water should be checked by someone else to ascertain the water temperature is just warm.

9. In old people with thick nails, its easier to cut the nails after soaking in water for 30 minutes.

My question is that in holy days of Ramadan what fruits should we use for water of body as we lose so much water.
Hi mir Diet tips to follow during Ramadan. o make you healthy, but only if it’s followed in a proper manner , if not then it can do more harm than good. After long hours of fasting it is usually a time to feast during iftar, but correct food choices can help you enjoy good foods along with health and vitality. Let me share few tips with you. 1.Break fast slowly – At Iftar first break your fast with dates. Dates help you to stabilize your blood sugar, they are rich in fiber , which helps for good bowel movements plus are good sources of potassium and magnesium, iron and calcium. Post that hydrate yourself with water. Then start with a warm soup and move on to fruits which are rich in water content like watermelon. Then go on your main meal 2. Make healthy choices- Once your fast is broken – after a warm bowl of soup, salads and fruits , if you are not hungry eat after sometime (the main meal) as eating full stomach can make you feel bloated. Choose whole grains, proteins, good fats and lean meats for your meals. Try to avoid fried foods and sweets. 3. Processed foods- Avoid having , foods high in salt and processed, packaged foods, as this will make you thirsty the next day during fasting period. Also they will lead to unnecessary weight gain. Also have sugary foods not directly after iftar but at a gap of 2-3 hrs post iftar in moderation . Moderation is the key here 4. Balanced meals– Even when on fast try to have a well balanced meal – containing all required nutrients -viz Carbohydrate, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals. 5. Caffeine – Avoid coffee and caffeine containing foods as it can act as a diuretic and cause dehydration and make you more thirsty. If you are a habitual coffee drinker , try to avoid it few days before Ramadan so its not difficult for you to stay away from it during fasting and to avoid headaches and irritation 6. Equal division of meals– Even when fasting it is important to have 3 meals and divide them equally. You can have your first meal at iftar, then next few hrs before going to bed and 3rd one at Suhoor, to avoid continuous snacking during non fasting periods. 7. Follow the food plate method– You can follow the food plate method during you non fasting period- Half of your plate should be fruits and vegetables, 1/4 – whole grains (multigrain chapati/brown rice etc) and 1/4 lean meat, pulses and dals. + you can have curd or buttermilk along side. 10. Exercise– Continue light exercise during fasting period too, it helps to keep you active and helps to balance weight too, opt for walking for 45 mins or light cardio activity. I hope all these tips will make your Ramzan happy and healthy, and revitalise your spirit, mind and body.

The ones you have mentioned are general health tonics. However please note that they have no effect on weight. You can take any health tonic for a month. Otherwise it is best to take natural products in natural form and not in packaged bottles.

Dear, take, homoeo medicine, @ belladonna 30-6 pills, thrice a day. @ phytolacca 200-6 pills, thrice a day. Gargle with hot saline water, twice. Avoid, dust, smoke, caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, junk food. Drink lukewarm warm water. Take, care.

A) take 30 ml of fresh LEMON JUICE, GINGER JUICE and 15ml of honey along with lukewarm water early in the morning on empty stomach. B) eat 10 gm of AJOVA SEEDS along with 30gm of jiggery after meals. D) take 2-2 tablets of sutshekhar rasa and aarogyawardhini vati after meals…do all these things for 30 days…it gives you good result. Consult to me for further suggestions…. THANKS…
