You need to consult an infertility specialist and get some investigations done to see what is preventing you from getting pregnant. Ideally we suggest to wait for at least 1 year and you are just 23 years old. But if you want to get pregnant sooner, then you should start getting medications which will increase the chance of pregnancy.

Meri age 24 years hai meri vagina se white material. Niklta rhta h please help me.

Ayurveda, Gulbarga
Leukorrhea is a very common problem among women. It refers to a thin or thick, whitish or yellowish vaginal discharge that may occur in between menstruation cycles or during pregnancy and usually lasts from a few days to weeks. In most cases, it is nothing to be alarmed about and is considered normal as long as it does not cause irritation, discomfort, odor and itching. Leukorrhea, however, can also be caused by hormonal changes, particularly due to an increase in estrogen. A vaginal infection or std, too, may cause leukorrhea, especially if the discharge is yellow or green and accompanied by foul odor. Apple cider vinegar apple cider vinegar is considered beneficial for treating leukorrhea. It helps restore your body? s natural ph balance. Also, its acidic and antiseptic properties help restore the acidic quality of the vaginal flora and reduce vaginal odor? mix equal amounts of distilled water and raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar. Use it as a vaginal wash once or twice a day for a few days? you can also drink a glass of water mixed with one or two tablespoons of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar once daily. Note: though considered effective by many still, douching is supported by little or no scientific evidence and is even advised against as it may disrupt the natural balance of bacteria in the vagina. Any queries inform me.

Can Diet Changes Boost Your Libido?

MBBS, MD, PGD-USG ,PGDS(SEXUAL MEDICINE
Sexologist, Delhi
Can Diet Changes Boost Your Libido?

Libido or sex drive means the desire to have sex; there are a number of reasons that can lead to low libido. There are a number of methods by which you can increase your libido, some of them are:

1. Exercise
Exercise is one of your major weapons against low libido; make sure to exercise on a regular basis as it helps in improving circulation in the body. Do various exercises such as squats and push-ups to improve your strength and endurance. It is known to increase production of sex hormones and endorphins in the body.

2. Limit smoking
Smoking cigarettes causes complications in the body as it is known to be a vasoconstrictor. The blood vessels tend to narrow, thus leading to damage in the arteries and veins. The veins of the penis may be damaged leading to sexual problems.

3. Stress reduction
You may adopt various techniques such as meditation and yoga to reduce stress levels in the body. Stress raises cortisol levels in the body which can hamper your sex life.

4. Sleep
You need to sleep adequately and sleep sound as sleeping deficiency has been linked with erectile dysfunction. Sleep also revitalizes your body and releases beneficial hormones in the body.

5. Restrict alcohol consumption
It is important that you restrict alcohol consumption as alcohol in excess may lead to obesity and other related disorders. It may also lead to mental health problems such as anxiety which can impair sexual drive.

6. Cut down on coffee
Coffee is a known vasoconstrictor as it tends to narrow your blood vessels. It limits blood flow, thus may reduce your sex drive. Make sure you limit coffee intake to 1 or 2 cups of coffee to avoid the complications.

7. Diet
Include plenty of vegetables and fruits in your diet to get the necessary nutrients in your diet. Vegetables such as cabbage and broccoli contain antioxidants that protect your body against free radical damage. Include oily fish such as salmon that is rich in omega 3 fatty acids because they help in improving sexual drive.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

Which abortion pills should be recommended to a two months pregnant women? Please suggest antibiotics too.

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, MBBS
Gynaecologist,
Abortion cannot be done by anyone, unless that person is qualified, and is working in a center that is registered by the government and has the skills to handle the complications too. Gynecs and mbbs doctors (who have received training) only can prescribe abortion pills. These pills are not available over the counter in medicine stores, but they have to be bought from the gynecs or trained registered doctors. So I would suggest you to go to a nearby gynecologist and seek the abortion. The gynec will examine you, and then decide whether your case is fit to be done with pills. There are 2 methods of abortion: medical method: where the gynecologist administers pills if the pregnancy is withing 60 days of the last menstrual period. Here some gynecs also ask for a sonography to see the intrauterine situation of the sac and its gestational age. Then pills are given to be consumed in front of the doctor. After this patient is called on d3 and again given another set of pills, following which the patient starts having a heavy period like bleeding and this bleeding may last for a few days to week. 15 days after the pill, the gynec usually ask for a sonography, to look for completion of the abortion. If the abortion has not happened (as is the case in some) or it is incomplete, surgical abortion needs to be done. Surgical abortion: this is done usually under general anesthesia, or local anesthesis. Here patient is called on an emtpy stomach for admission with her husband or legal major guardian, and then the procedure is done, where in the mouth of the uterus is opened and the contents of the uterus are evacuated. This procedure lasts 10 minutes and is usually complete. Here the patient can go home 6 hrs after the abortion with some antibiotics. So visit the gynec.

Your Health After Menopause

BAMS
Ayurveda, Navi Mumbai
Play video

Hello, everyone. I am Dr Ashwini Mulye. I  practise in CBD in Preheladpur. I am running an Ayurvedic Panchakarma centre since 15 years.

In the last video, we saw that how Basti helps in detoxification and the removal of waste from the body. Today I will speak about menopause, degenerative changes in the body and how Basti helps in it.

Post menopausal age lot of women come to me with the back ache, lumbar pain, weight gain, leg pain and hot flushes with a lot of debility, weakness etc. As they cross menopausal there are a lot of degenerative changes in the body due to lack of estrogen hormone. And there is 90% female we see nowadays in the age of 33-35 years we find the degenerative changes, the vit-D deficiency and osteoporotic changes.

What can be the reason for this problem?

The reasons are;

  • Lack of nutritious food
  • Lack of proper exercise
  • Lack of exposure to sunlight
  • Improper sitting posture
  • Improper way of eating
  • Irregular eating habits
  • Improper sleep
  • Eating lot of junk food with preservatives

There are a lot of reasons. All these produce degenerative changes early. Earlier the degenerative changes were found at the age of approximately 60 years but now such changes occur at the age of 33-35 years. So, for such cases, we have options in Ayurveda.

We give Ksheera Vasthi. It is a type of enema in which the medical decoction is made of five bitter and Madhur vipaaki dravyas. This can be selected according to the patient. Now, this can be mixed with the milk. The decoction is again reduced to half, it is processed in milk and additional ghee is added according to disorder. This is administered rectal ruffle around 14-21 or more days, according to what disorder patient is having. This helps in increasing the bone density and reducing the effects of degeneration in the body. You have to give them in large numbers.

Benefits-    It is observed that after giving such type of Vasthi if there is any reduction in pain or pain related to the degeneration of the back pain, neck pain, joint pain or the lumbar area. As well as it helps in increasing the volume of the hair, reducing your hairfall, increases the strength of the teeth, increases your bone strength many other things like Vit-D deficiency, a lot of sweat, weakness etc . All these problems will be fine if you take this Ksheera Vasthi atleast once a year or depending on the degre of your osteoporosis, twice or thrice a year. It depends on what condition you are going through.

This type of Vasthi is given after the dinner. It is continuously provided to clean bowel habits and rest of the conditions are normal. So, if you are going through such type of disorder, I would suggest to contact us and get an idea about the treatments.

If you have any query, you can contact me through Lybrate for text, audio and video consultation.

I got my periods after 6 months of delivery. It weaken me alot and coming with very heavy flow. My baby is still taking breast feed. What can i do to get relief?

Vaidya Visharad
Sexologist, Narnaul
Dear, Menorrhagia is unusually heavy or long menstrual periods. Generally, the menstrual period lasts from 3-5 days and normal flow is between 80-100 ml. If it exceeds this indicate the menorrhagia. Heavy bleeding can lead to an iron deficiency, and ultimately result in anemia other side effects like acne, excessive hair growth and rapid weight gain. Visit us at www.Malhotraayurveda.Com

Dear doctor it is true that after sex women should not pee for 3 hrs if they pee they will not get pregnant.
The only logic is whike they sit for urination because of gravity the semen comes out and the sperm have to move much against the gravity... but there is no such fixed rules... If you are facind difficulties conceiving then after the intercourse put a pillow under her back and let her lie down for half an hour.
