Sir I am 19 years old my height is 5'2 I want to increase my height please give me some tips to increase my height.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hi. As height can be gained till 21 yrs. Of age in males and 18 yrs. In females, so there are 2 yrs. More left to grow further! medication: start taking homoeopathic medicines which are safe to take without any side-effects - bakson's hite-aid and five phos. - both thrice daily and thuja 1m/ one dose once a week - take them for 4 months. Management: consume a balanced diet. A person will look a lot shorter when having a plump body. Not only that, being fit by eating right will make you taller and feel better! eat plenty of lean protein. Lean protein, such as white poultry meat, fish, soy, and dairy, helps promote muscle growth and healthy bones. Simple carbohydrates such as pizza, cakes, sweets, and soda, are the stuff to stay away from. Eat plenty of calcium. Calcium, found in leafy green vegetables such as spinach and kale, and in dairy (yogurt and milk), helps promote healthy bones. Get enough zinc. Studies, although they have been inconclusive so far, point to a possible link between zinc deficiencies and stunted growth in boys. Good sources of zinc include oysters, wheat germ, pumpkin and squash seeds, lamb, peanuts, and crab. Get enough vitamin d. Vitamin d promotes bone and muscle growth in children, and a deficiency has been shown to stunt growth and cause weight gain in teenage girls. Vitamin d can be found in fish, alfalfa, or mushrooms commonly. 60% to 80% of your height is determined by genes! apart from these: -exercise throughout the teen years and in puberty. Get out and about and work your muscles for at least 30 minutes each day. Join a gym, join a sports team, if nothing else, walk around. Do get indulge in stretch exercises, and sports like basketball, volleyball. -sleeping is the time when your body grows, get between 9 and 11 hours of sleep per night if you're a preteen or still younger than 20. -avoid any bad habit like smoking which affects the height, also avoid anabolic steroids which inhibit bone growth in young children and teens. -always stand straight instead of hunching your back. (you can probably increase your height by a few inches with diet and lifestyle changes, especially if you are still in your teens or even your early 20s (for boys).) get back to me after 4 months for further guidance. All the best!

Even in morning after wake up if I am running in a ground my head is getting hang. All the time I think about my health. What should I do now if this is going for a long time it will harm me.

DM - Neurology
Neurologist,
Dear lybrate-user, you seem to be getting obsessive thoughts related to your health and have some paranoid ideations - though they may be only related to your anxiety state. I suggest you meet a psychiatrist or a psychologist and sort out the thing. The BP is related only to the extent that anxiety state increase the tendency to have high BP; this applies to your headache and breathing trouble as well - so the first thing is to meet a psychologist and sort out your anxiety; if that is successful, but the symptoms remain, that 's when you should consider other causes.

He lost in financial status for that reason he become hopeless and escapist. Better to take the help of your elders. Or his friends. Understand the situation properly. If not possible. It is better to take him psychiatrist. Along with psychiatric medicine it is better to consult psychologist for psychological counselling. You know he is very good person. Because of his mental condition. He disturbed and suspect to you. In this stage you do not develop negative thoughts. Understand his mental status is not good. If he reject the medicine then consult psychologist. It is not done only by you. Better to take his or your elders help. It is always best. Or request him or talk like a friend when he is good mood. If he scolds you do not bother wait for right time. You have chance to win one day. Upto that wait. God will helps to you. Do not develop depression status. Remaining time you better to develop a very good friendly relations in office environment. Ok all the best.
