Lybrate-user ji looking to your height you should have a maximum weight of 57 kg. All your problems are because of your overweight. You need to reduce your body weight by minimum 25 kg. In addition do some strengthening exe for your quadriceps.

I am 50 years old suffering from arthritis since few years. Now I had a lot of pain in joints which make me to move very tough. What should I do?

Arthritis is a self limiting disease. Acute phase can be managed with medicines. Physiotherapy helps in preventing contractures & deformities. Keep your moral up! any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days you will need other supportive medicines also. Do knee exercises it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4-5 days, contact me again.

Taking medicines without consulting a doctor is not a wise thing to do. Pl do not take such medicines. Drink lots of water. If temperature rises apply ice cold packs on fore head and lower abdomen. Give a sponge. Give 5-6 glasses of fruit juice and one cup og spinach juice every day. Do not give any other food. She should be fine in 4-5 days. In the meantime do consult a doctor if the fever persists.

Homeopathy is one of the most important and effective therapy for back pain. Homeopathy produces excellent results in backache treatment without producing any side effect and is extensively used in all over the world. Homeopathy is a nature system of healing and that is why it can heal whole symptoms of illnesses and it also cure the illness from its root. Tips for backache: heavy objects should be pushed rather than pulled. The weight of the objects should be taken in your bent legs and arms and not in your back. During an acute attack sleep with a pillow under the knees. Choose shoes that offer good support in the arch and have low, but not flat, heels. Prop up one foot on a box or low stool when you're standing for a long time. Use a chair that provides support for your back, or tuck a little pillow behind your lower back. Tips to improve balance/alignment/motion: lift your leg so your thigh is parallel to the ground while touching a wall. Hold it for five breaths. For alignment, move side to side while sitting on a balance ball. For motion, try moving forward and backward on the ball.

If xray report is normal then I would recommend you to take some precautions and once contact your near by physiotherapist as a physiotherapist will give your physio modalities along with some exercises to help widen the spaces between the vertebrae which hence reduce pressure on the nerves. I am recommending you some physio care please note: precautions: 1. Avoid forward bending, if required then bend your knees first and then bend forward. 2. Avoid weight lifting. 3. Avoid standing in the one position for a long time. 4. Try to sleep in a position that helps you maintain the curve in your back. Physio care: advice you to contact near by physio to get treatment. In the mean time please follow the i-care treatment that is designed by me specially for back or neck pain. Have tested on many patients and got pain relief: take rest, doesn't mean a complete bed rest. Do not over exert your body. Work take rest and then work so that you do not feel tired and started paining. Treatment- 1. Apply ice or heat (whichever suits you) directly to the area of low back pain will decrease swelling and inflammation, and ease your discomfort. Apple it for 10 to 15 minutes only. 2. Relaxing for 5 minutes after ice or heat treatment. Apply any pain relieving ointment eg - volini or oraflame gel etc. Make sure not to do massage with the gel, it should not penetrate the body. 3. Again relax your body for 5 minutes and perform some normal back extension and hamstring stretching exercises to get relief from your pain. Please take advice from physio as he/she will guide you proper exercise plan which will be beneficial for you after checking grade of your back pain.

I had stressed 2 months back and there was back pain ,stiffness in the shoulder. Although the problem is imaginative one rather than actual and 90 p.c. Not going to happen and I am also not afraid of now but tha backpain and stiffness is still persisting. Is there any solution.

Hi Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya vatari syrup and capsule twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

It could be due to excess physical exertion. Check your hemoglobin. take one tablet of Neurobion forte daily for 2 weeks and one tablet of paracetamol 500mg sos after food upto a maximum of 3 tablets per day for 2-3 days.drink plenty of water and take rest. if no relief, consult for further advice

I am 74 year old woman. Diabetes and B P well under control due to medication. Almost daily morning When I try to get out of my bed/cot, I feel that my leg muscles are stiffened and I have to wait for the muscles (especially calf) to get relaxed. What is the cure? I am retd Army officer and has been very active but it is this viral which have made almost immobile, esp my joints of ankle and feet r badly swollen ,so much so that I find it difficult to move around ,however as suggested I am applying ice pack which gives temp relief, I have taken ibrufane as a pain killer, pl suggest some med to put off swelling ,thanks.

Get your blood tested for CBC, chickungunya, dengue donot take ibrufane, no ice packs take more warm liquids - milk, tea, water, coffee, soups, narial pani, nibu pani. ORS take light diet / khichri, dalia, with friuts - papaya, apple, anar, take complete rest for medicine contact on private chat good luck.

For your problem. Take green leafy vegetables more and more which is easy to digest. Do not eat fast food, junk food, spicy food, oily food, rice, potato etc which are heavy to digest. Take more water 3 litres in a day. Manage the stress and anger. Take milk with turmeric powder. Do not travel outside speciallly in winter and cold atmosphere.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

Hi ankylosis spondylitis have good results with hydrotherapy i. E. Exercises done in a swimming pool. So you can start swimming and do a lot of stretching exercises holding each for 20 seconds.

Hello, you may be having headache because of stress/ refractory problems/ any ENT problem or may be Migraine Headache kindly follow advises given below: you can take(If No drug allergy) : 1. Tablet Crocin (Paracetamol 500 mg) one tablet after food when required for headache after food for 2-3 days (maximum 2 tablets with gap of 12 hour can be taken in a day) 2. Adequate sleep 6-8 hr in a day 3. Get check eyes for refractive error 4. We need to go for ENT evaluation to rule out sinusitis 5. Get BP checked 6. Regular physical exercise and meditation and yoga complete history of your headache for further management like duration, severity, aggravating factors/relieving/ triggering/ associated factor to reach diagnosis consult physician for further management.

Knee pain is a common complaint that affects people of all ages. Knee pain may be the result of an injury or some other medical conditions including arthritis, patellar tendinitis, acl injury, knee bursitis, torn meniscus, gout and infections. Try some home remedies for your pain- - ice is useful for the control of pain and swelling. It can be applied to the knee for 15 to 20 minutes as often as every two to four hours. The swollen knee should be elevated above the level of the heart while icing. -activities that cause pain should be avoided temporarily. -if the knee is swollen or sore, the following positions and activities should be avoided until knee pain and swelling resolve: squatting kneeling twisting and pivoting jogging aerobics, dancing playing sport specific exercises will help you improve range of motion, strength, and endurance. It is especially important to focus on strengthening and stretching your quadriceps since these muscles are the main stabilizers of your kneecap. Core exercises may also be recommended to strengthen the muscles in your abdomen and lower back. Also maintaining a healthy body weight to avoid overstressing your knees are very important. -a full history of your problem should be taken and your movements assessed by a physiotherapist.
