HONEY with HOT things - a POISIONOUS combination.
Hot green tea with honey or hot water + honey + lemon juice to reduce weight are the trends nowadays.

Please stop if you are doing this as a fashion because you may lead to heart problems, diabetes and many more in long term.

Honey should never be consumed with anything which is even lukewarm.

Hi lybrate-user Preganews tests are pretty much accurate for confirming pregnancy event at the earliest. But the subjective confirmation is found only on ultrasonography. I suggest you should go for ultrasound. There are few advantages of getting ultrasound done: 1) confirmation of pregnancy 2) confirmation of pregnancy INSIDE uterus (chances of pregnancy in tubes need to be ruled out in any case) 3) As in your case, prolonged cycles, we need to confirm the gestational age as the earliest ultrasound parameters of the baby decides the baseline for future reference. 4) Any congenitally abnormal development of baby can be diagnosed as earliest as possible. It is a standard protocol in OBGYN practices that the ultrasound be conducted as soon pregnancy is diagnosed.

Is there any problems of taking I-pills too many in a month after having unprotected sex?

DGO, MBBS
Sexologist,
Yes ipill is meant to be taken as emergency pill only, and not to be taken more than once in a month. If you need more than one in a month then use regular contraceptive pills, they are more safe.

After how much time of coitus, we can have pregnancy test using prega news or other similar home kit?

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
After how much time of coitus, we can have pregnancy test using prega news or other similar home kit?
So taking a pregnancy test after say even five days of having unprotected sex might not help. However, this greatly depends on the sensitivity of your home pregnancy test kit. Some kits can detect pregnancy as early as seven days after conception or four days before your period were supposed to start. We have all seen the commercials that say you can get an accurate result at 4, 5, or even six days before your period is due but this is simply false advertising. These tests are looking for the presence of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) that is produced as the placenta forms and grows, after the fertilized egg has implanted. To make sure you are not wasting money on a test, it is not advised to test until at least one day after your regular period would start, but for optimal results, you should wait at least seven to ten days after the day your monthly cycle normally begins. A test taken any time after seven days should be accurate, as long as it is not expired.

Most women with PCOS grow many small cysts on their ovaries. That is why it is called polycystic ovary syndrome. The cysts are not harmful but lead to hormone imbalances. Early diagnosis and treatment can help control the symptoms and prevent long-term problems. Women must be able to make testosterone, a male hormone, as without it they could not produce oestrogen. Fact: Polycystic ovaries do not cause pain. Pain in the ovary could be from ovulation or from a cyst, which should usually clear up in time. Myth: Scalp hair loss is usually due to PCOS. No one knows exactly what causes PCOS, although evidence suggests a definite genetic link to the disorder. Many women with PCOS will have polycystic ovaries, but it is possible to be diagnosed with the syndrome without this sign, and not all women with polycystic-appearing ovaries will have PCOS. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is the most common hormonal disorder among women of reproductive age. Infertility is one of the most common PCOS symptoms.
