Majority of the low back ache problems is because of faulty posture. While sitting avoid leaning forwards or backwards. Try to sit straight. And avoid sitting for longer duration. If your job requires prolonged sitting then take frequent breaks and walk for some time. For symptomatic relief you can apply hot formentation with water bottles twice daily. And apply locally any pain relieving ointment.

Without following of periods paricharya there is no alternate natural way avoid heavy food heavy work bathing travelling exercise during periods take complete rest during periods diet should be local konkani food for mumbai weather which is best suitable for all avoid south indian north indian food in mumbai region for more details consult privetly.

I am 27 year old Indian national currently living in Muscat, Oman. I am working here since past 2 years and since November 2013 I started experiencing a little pain in joints of like toes, feet and above the ankles of my legs which gradually increased and by the end of December I got the same pain in my hands as well; like fingers, knuckles, wrists elbows etc. Initially I dint cared about it but now its taking its toll on my work. In Nov 2013 I visited Doc's here in Muscat, they gave some calcium and multi vitamins but those didn't help. Then I met an orthopedic here in Muscat he gave some steroids and pain killers but that too dint help and since May 2014 the pain had increased a lot. In October 2014, I decided to visit India in regards with my health condition. There was a scare of Arthritis and I did few blood and urine tests prescribed by the Doctor however the reports were normal and during my stay in India I started experiencing back pain and lower back pain. Now I got severe lower back pain extending up till my buttocks, neck pain and pain in shoulders. Basically I mean to say is I have pain all over my body. My Uric Acid level is normal My ESR is normal I took a Xray for my pelvic area. That too was normal. Please help. Please suggest.

Get lumber spine x Ray and cervical x Ray done. Start with Physiotherapy sessions and learn exercise. Take methylcobalamine and salmon omega 3.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. If you have localized back pain with - no neurological symptoms like numbness, paresthesia, weakness in limbs etc - no associated symptoms like fever, swelling etc, my advice is: - intensive physical therapy initially under supervision of a physiotherapist and then at home. - avoid forward bending, lifting heavy weights etc - take an analgesic like diclofenac or something which suits your body for 5-7 days - take muscle relaxant for same time as analgesic to relieve muscle spasm - ice packs at the site of pain, muscle spasm - local analgesic spray can be used but no massage is required let me know in 2 weeks time how you are feeling and then we can suggest you some exercises for lower back muscle strengthening which you can do at home. I will actually ask you to get x ray of involved region of spine ( ap & lateral - flexion and extension views) blood tests: esr, crp and serum vitamin d levels and send reports across to me so that I can advise further in a better manner. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Acl is ligament in knee which stabilizes the joint. People take years to learn how to reconstruct it properly. Can't be explained.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hi Doctor, Good morning. I have pain in lower back for 2 days. Yesterday night itself ain has enormously increased. Not able to sit. Whenever I pressured my lower back while sitting or walking the pain has increased. Not able to make sit or stand (more than 2 mins). I am lying down from morning. Hi Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

Mr. Lybrate-user, it is necessary to do muscle stretching before & after every sport to prevent injuries as well as to avoid delayed onset muscle soreness leading to muscle tightness & pain. If the pain is only from the muscles, then apply moist heat pack for less than five minutes followed by gentle low back & upper back stretches. Hi. You have knee pain. Most probably because of body weight. Anyways there is no use of any medicine for permanent cure. Best physiotherapy is the only way to get cure permanently. Well with proper treatment. Precautions are must. Do not do cross leg. Do not squat. Do not use stairs. Do not stand prolong or walk. These are common precautions and it depends on your condition as well. My recommendation is to go with precautions and do hot water fomentation twice a day. With all these you will get little bit relief and try to find a good physiotherapist where you need ultrasonic, ift and laser treatment (if available)

. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

1) do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. 3) do regular stretching exercise 4) in yoga do bhujangasan, halasan & suryanamaskar. Life-style correction 1) correct your sitting posture. 2) take small pillow or back rest for lower back. 3) foot should rest to floor easily. 4) take small break after 1 hr & walk few steps. 5) do neck & upper back extension, give feedback after 4 days.

The area suggests nerve compression in upper lumbar region. L1—L3 Go for mri lumbar spine and consult back with reports. Meanwhile take tablet nerwita—pg or pregastar—m once at bdtime.
