When we are stressed it is natural for us to feel lonely, feel sad and down and at times feel irritated, frustrated and get angry. As we take time out to do so many thing in our daily life we also need to learn how to take care of our inner self. How to nurture and grow our true self. Following tips will help you re build new response when you are stressed. Chronic stress is a byproduct of our busy life style these days, which at times leads to feeling of burnout and depression. Building your resilience will help you manage your stress and help in depression. Try following things to learn relaxation response which leads to better coping mechanism on a daily basis. To begin with doing guided progressive muscular relaxation before sleeping will help you relax. You could google and download an audio file. I would also suggest you to take a multiple small break to take 3 nice and deep breath while keeping your eyes closed. You could do this while sitting or standing or while even walking or climbing stairs (keep your eyes open in that case). When you take a nice and deep break there is actual physiological change in your body. This will help you to activate parasympathetic nervous system which promotes relaxation and helps you calm down and think more clearly. This will also actually improve your performance in your work. Along with this exercise is one of the best way to relive stress and stay fit. Engage in any kind of physical activity at least 4 times a week. This also helps in stress reduction. Along with this some relaxation exercises as well as engaging in joyful activities such as music, singing, dancing, reading, being in nature, gardening, talking with friends or anything which you enjoy will help reducing stress and rejuvenation of your mind and body. Have good routine for sleep and eating. Lot of research has now proven that sugar is very harmful for our health. Reduce sugar and refined white floor in your diet as much as you could. Along with this also increase consumption of raw vegetables in the form of salad in both the meals of your day. As a positive psychologist and a certified life and wellness coach I would be able to help build resilience and confidence to take on life and learn how to excel in what you do. This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. I would like to examine & investigate you in detail. Rule out Diabetes. Any way it may be tried, --.Acetaminophen 250mg OD & SOS. X 5days. --.Caldikind plus (from Mankind)1 tab OD x 5 days. --. Fomentation with warm water. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. -- .Do mild exercises for hands. (Take help of a physiotherapist). --. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly make sure, there is no allergy to any of these medicines. (Contact family doctor, if needed). For emergency treatment visit nearest hospital. Do not ignore, let it not become beginning of a major problem. Do ask for a detailed treatment plan. If no relief in 2-3 days, contact me again.

First of all, buy a pregnancy kit from medical store, it is cheap, accurate and easy to use. If pregnancy is ruled out, meet your gynecologists to get some tests done. Delayed periods can also be due to stress!

Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front.

I live in hostel. I don't have a single friend neither in college nor in hostel. Due to this I feel so alone. I go anywhere whether for shopping or even for any meal in restaurant alone. Everybody is just staring on me that I always come alone and I don't have any friend. I don't know how to talk to people and make friends. I don't have any topic to conversation with anyone .if sometime I have others will not take it any interest and don't give any attention to it. I am just fed up to sit alone and not expel even a single word from my mouth. Due to this my juniors are also respect me. N I feel so inferior. My confidence also become very low. I don't want to go college due to this. My study is suffering. No outings. Just be in room. My life is totally shattered. What to do. I don't know.

To really understand your problem in its totality, is to go back home to your family of origin to trace some of the genesis of your problems. You may ignore all my assessments for want of complete evidence, and that is okay. I am not the world’s perfect diagnostic man, nor do I boast of knowing it all. So feel free to take what appeals and dump the rest in the garbage can. In my opinion, I think that your problem lies in the fear of rejection. This rejection is usually founded in your family of origin, and is somewhat manifest in some descriptions you have given already. This is not to find fault in your parents: they may have done a lot of things with good intentions but may have inadvertently set up rejection. If you go way back, and see if there was any rejection prenatally or postnatally (again all this with intention or without), the child will pick up the sensation or feel like she is not wanted or even rejected. As you can see, I am presuming all this. You will have to give it substance, if you so have the substance. Without reaching to any conclusions, just indulge in this thought to see if there is any semblance of truth to explore it further. Your parents may throw light on this but don’t share too much of what I saying until it has been verified. Also find out, if there was an abortion or miscarriage before or after you were born. Whether you were wanted by both parents at birth. Whether they expected a male child and were disappointed that you were a girl. How long were you breast-fed by mom etc? These will all throw some light on my proposal of rejection, if there is any truth. Find out why people are neglecting you. Are you doing something to cause this? There must be a way you behave or present yourself that they are choosing to neglect you. Once you have identified that, change that behavior in you. Before you do so ask yourself, do you love yourself first of all? I suspect that there may be a problem of self-acceptance and self-love. If you don’t love yourself, then you may depend on others too much for the love you need. Inevitably, they will reject you or at least neglect you. You could be suffering from the rejection issue from which all these outcomes will be activated. This is how social priorities are normally set: first you love god, then yourself sufficiently, and then others. If you are full of appropriate love, you will attract others’ love by default. As easy as that!!! Get the help of a counselor too.

My wife keep getting this muscle pain in her collar bone and on back of her neck for few months. We have consulted many doctors but nothing worked so far. She recently consulted a ortho and he told us that there is some swelling under the bone and have her an injection under the collar bone. Please help!

Hot fomentation x twice daily. Neck Exercises. Neck Stretching. Postural Correction. Shoulder Shrugs. Core Strengthening Exercises. Take frequent Breaks at work Use cervical pillow. Use Back Support. Self Massage the back of neck.

Stop long drive on two wheeler. It creates gaps in between spines of lower back causing pain. Use local oil massage every day followed by heat treatment with hot water bag. Regular exercise and yoga as well as morning walk every day. It will help you from pain.

Advice... Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Trapezius muscle strain is commonly due to improper posture when driving or working on computer or mobile or use of improper pillow. Such pain can be relieved by simple measures at home. 1) Take rest for 1-2 days. 2) Simple analgesics like paracetamol or Ibuprofen to relieve pain 3) Application of ice pack helps in new onset pain in first 24 hrs. Later on application of warm pack will help. 4) Massage locally with analgesic cream 5) Perform neck stretches and trapezius muscle strengthening exercises once pain is decreased. 6) Follow good posture habits to avoid further increase in pain. Consult your doctor immediately if pain is persistent and progressive
