My grand son is two months old. He is suffering from frequent cold and vomits milk immediately after drinking. He is also having gas problem. What is the remedy.

M.D.( Pediatrics), DCH
Pediatrician,
Two months old child is most likely to be healthy and normal if he is putting on weight, passing urine frequently and is taking feeds.Sneezing, noisy respiration, crying is quite normal during early months of age.If it is associated with cough and/or fever, it could be allergic/infective as suggested by my colleagues.Hope it helps

What is there to worry? Honey is natural sugar. Unless honey is not pure, there is nothing to worry.

Babies and Nail Infection

MBBS, DDV
Dermatologist, Mumbai
Babies and Nail Infection

What are nail infections?
Nails are at risk of fungal infections during the rainy season, especially if your baby sweats and continually scratches himself. Nails can become discoloured, brittle and rough. In severe cases, the nail can come away from the nail bed. You may also notice red, swollen and itchy skin around the nails.

How did your baby get a nail infection

This fungal infection can result from overexposure to water, damage to the nail, or scratching sweaty or infected skin. Any moisture or debris trapped under the nails encourages the infection to grow. Ingrown nails may also be prone to infections.

What can you do about your baby's nail infection?

Its best to take your baby to a board certified dermatologist.
