To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy.  1. Start with changing your lifestyle. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2. Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day.  Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of –  a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. b. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. c. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. d. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. e. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. f. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day.  g. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow this regimen and you will soon start seeing the results.

take following remedies if you eat meal so fast or by standing then also pain in abdomen i suggest you some home remedies 1. saunf 1tsp + 1 glass of water boiled it and drink it at the time of lunch and d 2.triphala kadha 4 tsp before lunch and dinner 3.amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach

Dear Dr, I am 66 years old and lost 16 tooths, including both upper and lower. I find if I do artificial tooth in use (removal and put in use often, difficulties. Therfore, I want permanent fixations. One Dr. suggested it is simply pasting and another Dr. suggests, drill and fixing methods. Please suggest me good one with economically.

In fixed prosthesis, we have options of dental implants in which we drill titanium screw into the bone let it fuse with the bone for 3-4 months and then fix artificial tooth over it. The other option is bridges in which support is taken from the adjoining teeth, their cutting is done and then bridge is cemented on to them like a cap. Definitely implant is expensive than bridges but after assessing the condition of your bone and health of the surrounding structures it can be suggested whats best for you. So consult the dentist and make up your mind for what you are comfortable with in every sense.

I do not advise you to color your hair at this age. If your hair is greying, then improve your diet. For beard - use tea tree face wash and toner twice daily. Use aha glow face wash daily use sunscreen with spf 30 daily. Use natural face pack of multani mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar with mother for 5 mins after washing your face and splash it clean with water. Most important is diet- do not eat junk, eat more vegetables and fruits especially with vitamin c.

Hello, if your daily diet lacks in minerals, it can help. Remember, it has 80-85 calories per serving. It is safe to have one small glass of wine everyday for someone above 30 years of age, who is used to drinking wine regularly. For your age, 3 glasses a week are more than enough.

It is due to excess production of oil on your skin. There is no scientific evidence that proves that masturbation leads to pimples. Just use a good face wash.

My sister aged 20 years has been molested and groped by house owner 18 days back. Since then she is having nightmare every night with some horrific scene which depicts that something more dangerous going to happen with her. She is frightened and not able to concentrate on her studies and personal life. She is completely shattered and lost her control. This moment she becomes normal and the next moment she starts crying or becomes angry. She also feel some kind of pain in the head and the body temperature gets increase suddenly. We are completely confused about her recent behavior. Can you please suggest some ways to overcome this nightmare situation?

Hello dear, what your sister went through is no way your sister's fault .But definitely you need to seek help and share it with your parents or any trust worthy help available as the things can be repeated. The offender needs to be punished (if not possible then) avoided.Your sister will take some time to overcome it and her emotional and physical reactions are normal and in response to what she went through. Give her warmth ,a shoulder to bank upon, learning something for self defence, quietly,can also lend a feeling of empowerment.
