My period cycle starts on around 9th of each month and lasts for 4-7 days normally. I had viral fever and throat pain last month and I had to take many medicines (paracetamol, ibuprofen, zifi 200 and amoxicillin) for recovery. As a result when my period started on 9th April, it kept on going till end of April. I had no spotting on alternate days in month end and I thought that everything is fine but now I have full flow again. It seems that next cycle has preponed. I am in UK and I visited the health centre and doctor performed finger test, pregnancy test and smear test. All seems fine so far but don't know why cycle being irregular. Also, I noticed some dark color stool few times. I have blood test and ultrasound appointment on 10th and 28th May respectively. Could you please tell me what all these symptoms tend to? I am afraid that this much blood loss which is running for more than 20 days can make me much much weak. Please advice on dietary habit as well. Also, please suggest on exercise routine. I am a yoga lady but this time I started gymming on month end which I had to stop once I had full flow again. Should I not go to gym during periods. I just do running and light exercises. No weight lifting or heavy stuff.

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, MBBS
Gynaecologist,
My period cycle starts on around 9th of each month and lasts for 4-7 days normally. I had viral fever and throat pain...
Menses are not meant to be very regular. But what you have suffered, I e bleeding for almost 20 days is abnormal. The infection has nothing to do with it. But may be coincidentally you had a weak lining of the uterus which was shed over days and hence the bleeding for 20 days. Ideally no menses should alst for more than 5-7 days. And one must visit a gynecologist to get checked. In patients who have excess bleeding, in india at elast the doctor would have prescribed some medicines to stop bleeding and then put you on hormones if required. The blood loss is making you weak. But why did you allow it to go on for 20 days? surely you could have seeked help before that. Also in nhs scheme they take a long time to do things, I presume. In india by now your doctor would have already done the blood tests, hormone tests, sonography etc. But nevertheless, do these tests and let's hope the results are ok you can continue the gym and yoga is it does not tire you. Do cardiovascular and toning exercises on alternate days. Take a weekly off from gym. Meet a dietician and chart out a diet to account for your exercise related energy spend in the gym.

Good Sex Tips

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Sexologist, Delhi
Good Sex Tips
Good sex tips
If you want to make the most of your sex life, these sex tips are a good way to start.
As long as you're talking and listening to each other, you're well on the way to a healthy sex life. However, even the most contented lovers can have fun trying new things, so here are some ideas.
1. Build anticipation
Agree on a period of time, say one week, when you won’t have orgasms or penetrative sex. At first, allow only kissing and holding each other. Gradually move on to touching and stroking each other, masturbation, oral sex, or whatever feels right for you. But avoid orgasm. At the end of the week, allow yourselves the pleasure of orgasm, through any kind of sex you like. This week may help to heighten your senses to all the other wonderful feelings you can share when you’re having sex.
2. Massage
Massage can help you have very sensual sex. As part of foreplay, it's a great way to start things off slowly, and relax into the feel of each other’s skin as your arousal intensifies.
But a simple massage that doesn’t lead to sex can also work wonders for your sex life. A non-sexual massage will familiarise (or refamiliarise) you with your partner’s body, reduce stress and reaffirm the intimacy between you. If you don’t want a massage to lead to sex, discuss this with your partner so you can avoid any misunderstanding.
3. The senses
Good sex can embrace all the senses, not just touch. Scented oil for a massage (don't get oil on a latex condom as this can damage it), music and candles for soft lighting can all be erotic, as well as listening to your partner’s breathing and the sounds that they make. Taste each other as you kiss. If you both want to, you could mix food and sex - feed each other something delicious and juicy, such as strawberries.
4. Whisper
Whether it’s sweet nothings or your sexy intentions, whispering things to each other can add an extra thrill. It doesn’t have to be during foreplay or sex. A sexy phone call leave both of you looking forward to the event for hours or days.
This works with texts and emails too, but make sure you send them to the right person, and remember that your employer has the right to access your work email.
5. Masturbation
Masturbation, by yourself or with your partner, can be a bonus for your sex life. Exploring your own body and sexual responses means that you can share this knowledge with your partner. Masturbating your partner can help you learn more about what turns them on. It can also be a useful option if one of you doesn’t feel like full penetrative sex, or if you have different levels of desire. Talk about it with your partner.
6. Sex toys
If you and your partner both feel comfortable with it, using sex toys can be an arousing thing to do together. Some people use vibrators (and more) as an enjoyable part of their sex life. If you’ve never thought about using sex toys before, how do you feel about trying them? You can buy them online or in sex shops.
7. Read a book
There are many books that have exercises and ideas to help you achieve a fulfilling sex life, whatever your age, gender, sexual orientation or taste. If you’ve never thought about buying a book about sex, why not do it now? You might wish you’d done it years ago.
8. Share fantasies and desires
Everyone has unique fantasies, tastes and preferences when it comes to sex. From earlobes to ankles, hairline to hips, pirates to picnics, don’t be afraid to talk about them. If you and your partner know about each other’s turn-ons, you can make the most of them.
9. Keep it clean
We’re talking about your general hygiene. You don’t have to keep yourself super-scrubbed: a certain amount of sweat is fine, as long as it isn’t overwhelming. But be respectful towards your partner, and wash every day to prevent nasty smells and tastes.
10. Relax
Sex with a loving partner can be one of the most beautiful and intense experiences in life. Sometimes the best sex happens when you’re not worrying about making it exciting or orgasmic. Relax with your partner, and great sex may come and find you.

How to control hair fall? Am 37 years old, dad is bald. I smoke a few cigarettes a day, exercise 4-5 times a week, ve...
Hi. Let me tell you about hairfall. In layman's language, hairfall can be divided into 2 types - temporary hairfall and permanent (which is called as 'Hairloss' rather). In temporary hairfall, hair grows back again from the same hair root, but in case of permanent hairloss, may be because of formation of DHT (Di- Hydro -Testosterone) around hair root it gets choked up, subsequently affects the blood supply to the hair and thus hair root is lost forever. (There are different pattern and types of hairloss, because of different reasons like Alopecia Areata, Telogen Effluvium, Scarring Alopecia, Traction Alopecia, etc.) Causes of hairrloss: Many factors are responsible formation of this DHT or male/ female pattern baldness - hereditary, post-illness/ ailment, post-delivery, post- chemotherapy, nutritional deficiencies, hormaonal imbalance, insufficient sleep, sudden loss of weight, stress/ tensions/ excessive anger, use of bore water, any other underlying diseases, etc. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs, pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnut and almonds), iron-rich food like green vegetables, also take flaxseeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! In your case, could be hereditary factor may be playing a major role! Apart from that, nicotine (found in cigarette) affects the baldness! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200/ twice a day and Phosphorus 200/ one dose once a week - for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. (N.B.: With the help of homoeopathic medicines, we can only prevent further progress of the hairloss, means it will get arrests in the present condition in case of progressive baldness. But, in case there are areas of baldness which has gone smooth and shiny, you will have to choose an option of Hair Transplant along with theses medications!).

Unwanted thoughts in mind porn thoughts for family members very upset it is from 13 years.

DPM, MBBS
Psychiatrist, Mumbai
Unwanted thoughts in mind porn thoughts for family members very upset it is from 13 years.
All of us get random, unwanted and unpleasant thoughts. These thoughts come mostly from our sub-conscious mind. It's a part of our brain that is beyond our awareness and control. It is completely normal and natural to get'inappropriate' thoughts also. A thought becomes'important' when you give it an emotional value. So when you call a thought'bad'dirty'good' etc, your brain puts it in the'important thought category' if you do not label a thought and call it'just a thought' it just goes away. So first of all try to reduce the emotional or moral value of the thoughts that bother you. Your actions determine your character, not your thoughts. That said, if it is a repetitive and highly distressing thought then you must visit a psychiatrist, as it could be a symptom of obsessive compulsive disorder or ocd. There are good medical and counseling therapies for ocd.
