Dear lybrate-user, your wife may be having a dissociation disorder. It needs a private consultation with a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist. But it is not necessary to consult a neurologist. The more you care about her attacks, she will be having more attacks. Please try to care for her emotions and fears when she is normal and try to ignore her when she has attacks. Don't try to wake her up and give her water or sprinkle water on her face or take her from doctor to doctor and get blood and other tests done repeatedly. She will'wake up' on her own if she is left alone. She is unlikely to get an attack when she is alone. So safely you can leave her alone. These are temporary methods, till she talks to a psychiatrist or psychologist. Please get someone from her parent's house to take her to psychiatrist, if possible. Take the doctor's notes as non epileptic attacks to the psychiatrist.

Dear Lybrate user First try to organise your schedule. form a time table for your studies. Divide your syllabus into smaller chunks so that you may feel easy to learn to them. set realistic goals for yourself and after achieving those study goals reinforce yourself. learn the answers in pointers. write those answers. this will help you retain the answers well in memory. Eat well and sleep well. all the best

The psychologist who told there is no medicine to cure anxiety is a quack (non-medico), trying to portray he knows everything. It s easy for you to google and find there are wonderful medicines for anxiety, but should be taken with psychiatrist advise only. Anxiety occurs due to reduced Serotonin levels/ transmission in the mind (brain), when SSRIs (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors) are given, this is restored and the symtpoms resolve in 2-6 weeks. Kindly do not consult many quacks (non-medical, yappers) in this forum and in reality, who know nothing about medicine, but use prefix as doctors and behave like medical doctors advising innocent people like you wrongly.
