Hi. Let me tell you about hairfall. In layman's language, hairfall can be divided into 2 types - temporary hairfall and permanent which is called 'Hairloss' rather and leads to bald areas of smooth and shiny surface. In temporary hairfall, hair grows back again from the same hair root, but in case of permanent hairloss, because of formation of DHT (Di- Hydro -Testosterone) around hair root it gets choked up which subsequently affects the blood supply to the hair and thus hair root is lost forever. Many factors are responsible formation of this DHT or hairloss- hereditary, post-illness/ ailment, post-delivery, post- chemotherapy, nutritional deficiencies, hormaonal imbalance, insufficient sleep, sudden loss of weight, stress/ tensions/ excessive anger any other underlying diseases, etc. Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs, pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnut and almonds), iron-rich food like green vegetables, also take flaxseeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200/ twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. (N.B.: With the help of homoeopathic medicines, we can only prevent further progress of the hairloss, means it will get arrests in the present condition in case of progressive baldness. But, in case there are areas of baldness which has gone smooth and shiny, you will have to choose an option of Hair Transplant along with theses medications!).

I will suggest you to do skipping daily for next six months and few diet tips - not to eat fried food items and can eat all green vegetables, moong, chana, dal, rice etc and to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati and to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day and if possible eat eggs on alternate days and if possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla and eat seasonal fruit.

There are several things you can do to prevent a cold—they are all easy and inexpensive and worth the effort. Wash your hands often-with soap and warm water.The germs stick to the soap and get washed down the drain. Always wash your hands after coughing or sneezing into your hands, blowing your nose, after touching someone who is sick, or when using public restrooms or telephones. Cover Your Mouth and Nose When You Sneeze or Cough- Clean your hands every time you cough or sneeze. Avoid Touching Your Eyes, Nose, or Mouth-Germs are often spread when a person touches a contaminated surface and then touches their eyes, nose, or mouth. Stay Home When You’re Sick-Get plenty of sleep, be physically active, don’t smoke, manage stress, drink plenty of fluids, and eat nutritious food so you can fend off viruses. Take healthy balanced diet...like boiled eggs.daily in breakfast .. Avoid people who have a cold or cold symptoms. Routinely clean and disinfect common areas of your home. Treatment:There is a gradual 1-3 day onset of symptoms. It often starts out as a sore throat, then a fever and coughing. As the cold progresses, the nasal mucus may thicken which is the last stage before the cold dries up. A cold usually lasts for a week or two. But, taking good care of yourself at home can relieve symptoms and help prevent complications if you are otherwise healthy. Unless you develop complications, you shouldn’t need medical treatment. Complications include bacterial infections of the ears, throat, sinuses or lungs which must be treated with antibiotics. In general you should: • get plenty of rest so your body can use its energy to fight the cold • staying at home will keep you from spreading germs • drink plenty of liquids like herbal tea or hot broth/vegetable/tomato soups. Avoid foods or drinks with caffeine which can keep you from getting enough sleep Runny Nose and Sneezing- if you have post nasal drip, gargle to keep from getting a sore throat. Drink extra fluids. (avoid sugary and high calorie drinks) Use saline nasal sprays or nasal irrigation • Tablet Nasorest-P once/twice daily may reduce the amount of mucous. • Humidify the rooms you are in most or your whole house if possible. • Do steam inhalation once or twice daily Cough-Coughing is how your body gets rid of debris and mucus from the airways during a viral infection. Unless your cough is severe or is keeping you from resting at night, it is better not to treat it. A severe cough can be treated with a cough syp, but don’t try to completely stop the cough. There are two types of coughs. Productive and non-productive or dry cough. Non-productive, dry cough. A dry, hacking cough may develop near the end of a cold. Dry coughs that follow viral colds are often worse at night and can last up to several weeks. Take syrup Alex-D for a dry cough. Cough drops can sooth an irritated throat, but most don’t affect the cough. Productive cough. A productive cough is one that brings up mucus from the back of the throat or the lungs. Productive coughs should not be suppressed to the point they no longer bring up mucus. Use syrup Alex. Drink lots of water if you have a productive cough. Head and Body Aches- Take tablet dolo-650 mg for fever once or twice daily

1. Start cardiovascular exercises like running, jogging, cycling etc. 2. Avoid carbohydrates and fats. 3. Avoid processed and junk foods. 4. Start exercising. Both body weight exercises like push ups, pull ups, squats and weight training in the gym is helpful. 5. Stay hydrated. 6. Have a light dinner. 7. Evening walk is always recommended. 8. (There are different pattern and types of hairloss, because of different reasons like Alopecia Areata, Telogen Effluvium, Scarring Alopecia, Traction Alopecia, etc.) Causes of hairloss: Many factors are responsible formation of this DHT or male/ female pattern baldness - hereditary, post-illness/ ailment, post-delivery, post- chemotherapy, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalance, insufficient sleep, sudden loss of weight, stress/ tensions/ excessive anger, use of bore water, any other underlying diseases, etc. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs, pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnut and almonds), iron-rich food like green vegetables, also take flaxseeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

Having carrot and lemon juice is best to have it in morning. It is good. But better have it empty stomach in morning and do not eat or drink anything for half hour after having that. To make it more beneficial. Take care. :)

Hair greying is an inevitable part of aging, and it is a natural process. But it can also be a cause of concern if your hair starts greying prematurely; when you are still in your 20s or early 30s. A genetic trait, critical medication conditions or poor nutrition can lead to premature greying. Unfortunately, people think only colouring the hair can fix greying. But this is just a temporary fix, and you need to keep re-colouring your hair. Also, all the harsh chemicals in hair dyes can harm your hair with prolonged use.

Ayurveda For Hair Greying-

In Ayurveda, hair fall is referred to as ‘khalitya’ and premature graying of hair is termed as ‘Palitya’. Both khalitya and Palitya are considered as pure paitik (arising out of ‘pitta’) disorders. It means, when you continuously disturb ‘pitta’ (heat in your body), it can gray your hair. So, according to Ayurveda, if you consume pitta enhancing substances, your pitta aggravates and cause gray hair. From ayurvedic point of view, good hair growth is linked to one’s physical and mental health. When one is cheerful, the hair looks lively, alternatively when one is feeling depressed and pessimistic, the hair acquires a fallen and lifeless look.

Ayurveda is a good alternative remedy for premature greying. It is natural and it has no side-effects.

Here are some Ayurvedic treatments for premature greying:

  1. Coconut Oil and Curry Leaves: This is one of the oldest, and mildest Ayurvedic treatments for premature greying. All you need to do is boil curry leaves (about ½ a cup) and coconut oil (1/8 of a cup) together. After the mixture is boiled enough, put it aside to cool down. Next, gently massage the mixture into your hair roots. Leave it for 20 minutes before washing it off with lukewarm water and a mild shampoo.

  2. Amla or Indian Gooseberry: Amla is an excellent remedy for premature greying and restoring natural pigmentation of hair. Dry some slices of amla, and then boil them in coconut oil. Now massage this concoction into your hair for best results. You have to make sure your hair is entirely coated with this mixture.

  3. Buttermilk and Curry Leaves: For best results, make a paste of a bunch of curry leaves and a cup of buttermilk and apply it on your scalp. Keep it for thirty minutes before rinsing it off with a mild shampoo.

  4. Carrot Seed Oil and Sesame Seed Oil: A blend of carrot seed oil and sesame oil is an effective Ayurvedic remedy for premature greying. Mix half a tablespoon of carrot seed oil and 4 tablespoons of sesame oil and massage it into your hair roots and scalp. Then wash your hair with a mild shampoo for best results.

Hi. Dark circles can be temporary (means happens after any recent or chronic diseases or underlying medical condition, insufficient sleep, nutritional deificiency, working long hrs. on computer, lack of rest, stress/ tension, etc.) which can be improved by fixing the underlying cause or the problem or can be inherited from your parent's genes which can't be treated or cured! ‘If you don’t bathe properly, you’ll get rashes’. We’ve all heard this statement when we were young, but being unhygienic is not the only cause for eczema. Skin conditions such as eczema, allergic dermatitis, urticaria, skin allergy, psoriasis, etc. are usually symptoms of a larger constitutional problem. Thus, merely treating the visible rash will not cure the problem. Homeopathy is an effective form of treatment for skin diseases as it addresses the root cause of the problem.

When it comes to homeopathy, no one medicine can be used universally. This is because homeopathic prescriptions depend on the symptoms presented and the mental state of the person.

Here are some of the common homeopathic remedies prescribed for skin disorders.

1. Graphites: This is used to treat a number of skin conditions. Some of the symptoms it can address are:

  • Moist scabby eruptions on joints, between fingers, behind the ears or on the scalp

  • Dry and scaly skin

  • Fissured eczema that bleeds or has a thick gooey discharge

  • Itchy eczema on the scalp and face

2. Arsenicum: Arsenicum is prescribed to treat chronic eczema, psoriasis and urticaria. Some of the visible symptoms it helps treat are:

  • Thickened skin

  • Itching and inflammation of the skin

  • Pimples and nettle rash

  • Ulcers that burn and ooze discharge

  • Repercussed hives

3. Sulphur: Any skin condition that seems to feel aggravated or burns after washing can be treated with sulphur. Some of the symptoms it treats are:

  • Coarse skin with a tendency to have pustular eruptions

  • Dry and itchy scalp

  • Eruption with yellow crusts

  • Itching in the folds of the skin

  • Slow growing or brittle nails

  • Dry skin around the corners of the mouth and around the nostrils.

4. Mezereum: Skin allergies and conditions? that are accompanied by intense itching can be treated with mezereum. It is usually used to treat symptoms like:

  • Crustiness and itching

  • Scabs with thick pus

  • Neuralgic pain

  • Itchiness that gets worse at night

5. Rhus Toxicodendron: This can be used to treat a number of skin conditions such as

  • Eruptions with rheumatic pains

  • Extreme itchiness and persistent tingling sensations

  • Skin covered with small cysts filled with fluid that have a red areola around them.

6. Natrum Meriaticum: This can be used to treat both dry skin as well as moist eruptions. Some of the symptoms it addresses are:

  • Blisters filled with fluids in the joints

  • Moist eczema that does not itch

  • Eczema that oozes pus

  • Itchy hives caused by allergic reactions

I am 42 yrs old, from Hyderabad. I am having backpain since 4 yrs. On MRI scan it showed a bulge and tear at L4 &L5. Pain is severe during night and early morning. Please tell me few exercises which relieve backpain.

In fact, there are good reasons to believe that whole milk, full-fat yogurt, cream, and high-fat cheeses may be better for you than their low-fat alternatives.

Reason #1:  Saturated fat is not harmful to your health

Reason #2:  Low-fat and non-fat dairy products are higher in casein

Casein is a very sticky protein in milk that is quite difficult for humans to digest.  Milk proteins are designed to nourish baby cows, who are outfitted with a special enzyme (rennet) that can break apart casein. Humans do not make rennet, which is one of the reasons why dairy products can cause constipation and other digestive problems.

Reason #3:  Low-fat and non-fat dairy products are higher in whey

Whey proteins raise blood insulin levels just as much as pure sugar does.  Even though lactose, the sugar that naturally occurs in milk, has a low “glycemic index” and therefore does not raise blood sugar very much, whey proteins trigger big insulin spikes in body and destabilize blood sugar and hormone levels, lead to carbohydrate cravings, fatigue, mood swings, and obesity.

Reason 4:  High-fat dairy products contain less protein

This means that people who have dairy protein sensitivities may tolerate them better.  People who have trouble with dairy foods are almost always reacting either to milk carbohydrate (lactose intolerance) or milk proteins (dairy allergy and sensitivity), not to dairy fat. This is why many dairy-sensitive individuals are able to eat butter and heavy cream, which are extremely low in protein.

Reason #5:  High-fat dairy products taste better

They improve the flavor, digestibility, and absorption of foods and are more satisfying, therefore you may find yourself naturally eating less.

Bottom line:  The lower the fat content, the higher the protein content

People who consume the most high-fat dairy products, have a 23-percent lower risk of developing type 2 diabetes than people who have one serving or less but there was no association between intake of low-fat dairy products and lowered type 2 diabetes risk.

Keep in mind that, you choose unsweetened varieties, since sugar and other refined carbohydrates raise insulin levels and disturbs blood sugar levels.
And MODERATION is the key for all the food .
