Taking a large number of medications often leads to a dry mouth. Increase your fluid intake or ask your dentist about an artificial saliva product or chew sugarless gum after a meal to keep your mouth moist.

My gums bleed most of the time because of this there is bad breath also please advise.
Gums bleeding is due to infection in gums. Get scalling done by dentist. Take vit c tab for one week. Use proper brushing techniques. Brush, floss n use mouthwash twice daily. Massage your gums with your finger tips after brushing. Keep your tongue clean. Rinse your mouth well after each meal. Visit your dentist for dental checkups every 6 months to detect n prevent dental probs.

I have problem in my teeth. When I am brushing daily my teeth. I am fed up for solution.

I have problem in my teeth. When I am brushing daily my teeth. I am fed up for solution.
Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations (full mouth x-ray) to decide upon treatment. You may consult me in person. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush.

My son is 5+ all his teeth have cavity he is horrified of going to dentist these are milk teeth. Will the new teeth also get affected?

BDS (GOLD MEDALIST)
Dentist, Jamshedpur
Caries should be treated either filling or capping. Because it will take few years to shed all milk teeth. Caries may cause pain. So it need to be filled. Avoid too much chocolates and sweetened food. Take care of his oral hygiene. Consult a good pedodontist.

Here is home remedy for brighter teeth--- mix several teaspoons of baking soda with enough fresh lemon juice (or water) to make a paste. Wipe your teeth and any extra saliva off of them with a paper towel. Put a good amount of paste onto your toothbrush and apply. Leave the paste on for 1 minute, then rinse, so as to avoid the acid effecting enamel. If you are using just water you can leave it on for up to 3 minutes. For faster result you can go for teeth bleaching from dentist.

A central inciser lower teeth treated with root canal, after a month it started pain.

MDS Prosthodontics, BDS, Medicine
Dentist, Mohali
Visit the same dentist again. It shouldn't pain. Either the root canal done is not proper or else there might be some other reason. You can share xray if you have for better diagnosis!

5 steps to flossing and brushing.

MDS Prosthodontics, BDS
Dentist, Latur
By using a wire brush, gently clean between brackets (under the wires) to get the plaque off. It is very necessary to keep the mouth free from plaque during the orthodontic treatment.
