Hello, You can have the following Ayurveda medicines: 1. Yogaraj guggul - 1 tablet � 3 times after meals 2. Maharasnadi kwath - 4 tsp + 4 tsp hot water � 2 times after meals 3. Vatavidhwansa rasa - 1 tablet � 3 times before meals 4. Murivenna tailam - Massage softly with this oil. Use it warm and then do hot fomentation if there is no swelling.

Dear you can follow these methods for relief from backache (back pain): * first correct your sitting posture. Do not bend your lower back. You can use lumber belt for support. * do regular back strength exercises. Move your clockwise and anticlock wise. * do not sleep on very soft bed, sleep on slight hard cotton mattress. * do tadasana and bhjangasana for back strengthening. If you can not understand these asans you can consult me. Surya namaskar is also best asan in back pain * take calcium rich diet and calcium and vitamin d supplements regularly. *do not take any heavy weight or heavy work. * if you are over weight then follow a good and effective diet plan to loose some kilos of weight. Hi stop or reduce activities that make symptoms worst. Apply cold pack for 20 minutes thrice a day for 5 days. Do regular streching of quadriceps, hamstring, and calf muscles. Learn strengthening exercise from physiotherapist or consult me via lybrate. Wishing you a good health.

Sometimes I feel severe pain in leg nerve. People say it's sciatica. How to get relief from it.
1. Lie on your back. 2. Cross your left leg over your right so that your left ankle rests on your right knee. 3. Use your hands to grab hold of your left knee and pull it gently toward the opposite shoulder. 4. Hold for 15 to 30 seconds. 5. Relax, and then repeat with the other leg. 6. Repeat this cycle 2 to 4 times.

Good day to you. For a few months i've been having numbness and weakness in my left leg and scrotum. Got my mri results back and they say. Mild scoliosis at L4 L5 region with minor disc bulge with no nerve compression. No sign of cauda equina. Small annular tear at L4 region with muscular spasm. What's causing my numbness? Most likely, the cause of your symptoms are disc bulge. The best treatment at this stage is physiotherapy. Medications such as pregabalin and gabapentin are also helpful.

I am 47 yr male and am having frozen right shoulder since 4-5 months, initially it was very painful but now moderate but am unable to do many activities, please advise.

Kindly show me x rays of your shoulder. Diabetes must be controlled. Rule out vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Do hot fomentation any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days you will need other supportive medicines also. Do neck & shoulder exercises it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hello lybrate user, back pain that is associated with day time sedentary jobs like computer professional s are associated with paraspinal muscle spasms. The best way to tackle this sort of pain is to do well spaced stretching exercises of the back, back extension exercises, using hot water bags to provide relief and avoiding stooping posture while sitting. Posture also plays a very important part in back pain, always maintain a straight posture while sitting. While getting up from the bed try to first go on your left or right side of the body and get up side ways. Avoid cruntches or sit-ups: they may increase the pressure on your back and may predispose to slip disc. Always maintain a healthy lifestyle in terms of regular brisk walking, meditation, eating healthy. P. S: try to avoid pain killers (analgesics) as much as possible as many are associated with side effects that you may not be aware of. Stay healthy. Stay happy god bless you.

Tailbone pain, also called coccydynia or coccygodynia, usually goes away on its own within a few weeks or months. To lessen tailbone pain in the meantime, it might help to: lean forward while sitting down sit on a doughnut-shaped pillow or wedge (v-shaped) cushion apply heat or ice to the affected area take over-the-counter pain relievers if your tailbone pain doesn't improve (chronic coccydynia), consult your doctor. Your doctor might recommend using magnetic resonance imaging (mri) to find out if you have a fracture, degenerative changes. Consult a physiotherapist, who might show you how to do pelvic floor relaxation techniques, such as breathing deeply and completely relaxing your pelvic floor.

We are physiotherapist we just give a exercise tips it will help you first if you r obese person reduce your weight and take less amount of fatty diet and also follow this exercise programme hot water fermentation that would help to reduce the muscle strain. This is a general strain due to excessive walking or standing and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes. One time you can do.
