Avoid crossed leg sitting and squatting. Take rest. Get a x-ray of the affected knee and consult a nearby orthopedic surgeon.

Stop playing and exercises for one week. Apply ice packs locally. Do regular knee strengthening exercises before you start playing again.

I'm a soccer player and I most frequently get across sprains etc in my foot ankles. Will these sprains, occurring often, affect my foot or my abilities at any rate whatsoever. Hope you reply soon. Thank you.

Frequent sprains cause ligament weakening. This predisposes you to recurrent sprains and can cause disabling joint damage. Consider wearing elastic ankle supports while playing. A lateral shoe raise by 1/8 inch also helps.
