What are the symptoms of fever and how it can be cured and what should we do?
Fever is not considered medically significant until body temperature is above 100.4 F (38 C). Fever serves as one of the body's natural defences against bacteria and viruses which cannot live at a higher temperatures. Also, the body's defence mechanisms seem to work more efficiently at a higher temperature -Fevers of 104 F (40 C) or higher may be dangerous and demand immediate treatments like: -Acetaminophen (dolo-650 mg) twice or thrice can be used to lower a fever . Aspirin should not be used for fever in children/ adolescents or during a viral illness. -Wear loose fitting clothes and don’t overdress. Overdressing can cause temperature to rise further. -Tepid water (85 F [30 C]) bathsmay help bring down a fever. -The body should be cooled with a wet sponge. -A fever can cause severe dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids.. Have citrus fruits, particularly Vitamin C rich ones like mausami,Amla juice etc. -Take light and easily digestible home cooked meals .avoid outside food -Wash hands frequently with soap and water especially after returning from public places or public transport. -Further therapy depends on the cause of fever like urinary infection/typhoid or malaria/dengue infection and the accompanying symptoms that need to be investigated and treated accordingly

You should take atleast 7to 8 hrs sleep in the night get up early say around 5 or 6 am and sleep around 10 pm that will be the best time for you study as much as you can in the mornings as that is the the time when your mind is fresh concentrate on your studies best of luck.

PILES (Haemorrhoids) Piles occur when the veins surrounding the anus are inflamed. Occurrence of haemorrhoids can be due to pregnancy, aging, chronic diarrhoea, constipation, straining to pass stool, sitting for long periods,, obesity and genetics. Bleeding occurring in the anal area, itching, discomfort, and swelling may indicate haemorrhoids. Precautions- Have regular food habits as well as habit of going for motion. Don’t avoid when you have an urge for going to toilet. Take 2 to 3 glasses of warm water in the morning. This will help in reducing acidity as well as hardness of stool and you don’t have to strain your pelvic muscles. Keep hydrated by drinking lots of water and having fruits and vegetable juices Avoid sitting for long time at one place. Sedentary habit causes constipation. Driving bike or cycle for long duration at a time may be avoided. Travelling in a car or bus for long journey is also not good. Train is better as you can change positions. Avoid chillies, masalas and such hot foods. Take easily digestible foods including curds and fruits. We have very good treatment in homoeopathy. Take Nux vom 200 twice daily morning and evening and give feedback after 7 days.

Hello, Coffee, specially the black one or green coffee is known to increase BMR before workouts. If normal coffee is taken, ensure you don't overload it with sugar. That will counteract its effects.

Never drink water after meals this could be the main reasons for your acidity. Drink water after 90 minutes only. To gain weight start doing prithvi mudra from your fingers 20 minutes everyday to gain as much weight you want. This is the best natural way to gain weight, you have to keep patience and do it regularly. Once you have gained the weight you wanted than stop doing prithvi mudra otherwise you will gain extra fat.

Hi lybrate-user. Corns require surgical excision if painful. This should be followed by swithching to comfortable footwear with adequqte padding. Also ,the condition needs to be differentiated from plantar warts which also require specific treatment with lasers or topical mesications. The above prescribed medicines are just symptomatic and would not cure the corns and calluses. All the best.
