Hi,

Mera naam Dr. K S Anamika hai. Ek stri rog aevam infertility vishagya hu. Aaj apse baat krungi ki aap apne IVF k success rate ko kaise improve kar skte hain. Aaj samaj mei hamare paas infertility ke cases bahut badh gye hain. Magar samajik kuntha jo sath e thi vo jarur kam ho gyi hai. Mariz hmare pas bilkul freely aate hain. Or IVF ke lia puchte hain or IVF krate hain. But bhartiye dumpatti ke pas abhi bhi itna financial support nhi hai ki vo do bar, teen bar, IVF kra sakein. Kyuki IVF ka success rate 40-45% tak hi hota hai, to hmesha marizon ke mann me ek khayal hota hai ki aisa vo kya kren ki unke IVF ke results ache aayen. To mai isi sambandh me aapki madad krna chahungi.

IVF ka jo taknik hai usmei pehle ande bnaye jate hain. Fir ande or pati ke sperm ka fertilization bahar kr ke, apke bache dani mei embryo ko transfer krte hain. Uss embryo ke transfer ke din se leke – 15 din ke baad apko apna pregnancy test lena hota hai. Aur iss 15 din ke dauran marizon ke maan me kayi baatein chalti rehti hain. Mai aisa kya karun ki mere IVF ka result acha ho? Is chiz ko hum 2 bhago me baatenge. Pehle to IVF ke pehle kuch steps or dusra apke embryo transfer ke bad ke 14 din mei aapki savdhaniyan. Pehle apko khayal rkhna hai ki aap sahi samay pe apna IVF krayein. Jaise ki kayi bar mariz 10 saal, 15 saal, shaadi ke baad bhi chizon ko talte rehte hain.

Jis se unki umar badhne ke baad success hone ke chances kam ho jate hain. To IVF ka chunav aap jaldi kar lein. Aap apne sharir ki har chiz pe dhayan dein. Vitamin deficiency, anemia ko pehle treat kar lein. Aur teesra apne pelvic organs ke aas paas jo bhi problem ho unko thik kara lein. Aapke andedani mei endometriosis ya kuch or bimariyan hain, inko pehle settle down karen. Ab baat aati hai ki apne IVF kara liya aur baad ke 14 dino tak apko kya savdhaniyan leni hai. Kayi baar mariz aur unke parivaar jan ye kehte hain, ki hum to inko bistar se uthne nhi denge, ye bilkul leti hi rhegi 14 dino tak, taki we can get the results. Lekin aisa krne se aapka mansik tanav aur badhta hai. Studies batati hai ki aap apna dincharya jaisa tha, vaise rakh sakte hain. Bss apko physical stress nhi lena hai. Dusra religiously aapko medicines follow karni hai. Aisa karne se aapka hormonal imbalance nhi hoga.

Bleeding ke chances kam honge. Or success results hume ache milenge. Infection se apna bachav krna hai. Bahar ka khana, bahar ka toilet use krna, peshab bahut der tak rokna, in sab chizon par pura dhyan dein. Agar aapke peshab mei thodi bhi jalan ho to use thik kra lein. Kyuki urinary infection bhut bada cause hai ki apka embryo apni jagha pe transfer nhi ho pata hai. Aur inhi sare nirdeshon ke sath me aap sab ko shubh kamnayein dungi, ki apko bhi happy family mile. Jitne bhi infertile couples hain, vo aaj ke vigyan ke tarikon ko use kr ke jld se jld mata pita banne ka sukh prapt kren.

Thank you!

4 Things You Should Know About Period Sex!

4 Things You Should Know About Period Sex!

From a medical standpoint, intercourse during menstruation is completely fine. Most men have claimed that period sex seems messier when compared to intercourse on normal days but, other than that, there aren’t any risk regarding period sex. In fact, it is advisable to engage in vaginal intercourse during periods for a variety of reasons.

Here are a few things you should know about period sex:

  1. Intercourse during periods isn’t harmful: Contrary to the popular myth, period blood doesn’t contain impurities which might affect the penis in any way. Instead, menstrual blood is normal blood mixed with disposed off tissues from the lining of the uterus and the penis isn’t affected by menstrual blood in any way. The menstrual blood serves as excellent lubricant to make the process of intercourse smoother.
  2. Chances of pregnancy still persist: It is not okay to completely ward off protective measures during periods because even though it is safer than other days, there might be a small chance that the sperm of a man lives on in the female body till early ovulation. Besides, the chance of getting a sexually transmitted disease is the same during period sex.
  3. Can relieve cramps: Some women claim that having sex during their period helps ease their cramps as having an orgasm releases ‘pain- reducing endorphins’ into the bloodstream. Also, some medical practitioners believe that sex provides relief by using up chemicals which are responsible for cramps. Thus, having period sex can prove to be relaxing and less painful than normal days.
  4. Sexual arousal ups during menstruation: Most women feel hornier and more aroused during periods because of the increase in the hormonal levels. Some women feel heavier in the pelvic area which increases the sex drive; precisely the reason why having sex during this time is a good idea. So, for all you know, you might actually have a brilliant intercourse session when she’s on her period.

Signs You Can Be Suffering From Postpartum Hemorrhage?

Advanced Infertility, MIS TRAINING, FICMCH, PGDS, MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, MBBS, Masters in Reproductive Medicine(UK)

Signs You Can Be Suffering From Postpartum Hemorrhage?

Postpartum hemorrhage is a condition where a woman may lose a lot of blood (approximately 500ml to 1000ml) from her vulva shortly after childbirth. This usually occurs within the first 24 hrs of childbirth and can even result in severe blood loss threatening the mother’s life in case the blood loss is over 2000 ml. Secondary postpartum hemorrhage can also occur until 12 weeks after childbirth and this extra care should be taken, if there is any such possibility.

Symptoms of postpartum hemorrhage:
1. Rapid increase in heart rate.
2. Feeling dizzy while standing up.
3. Increase breathing rate.
4. Feeling cold and chilly even if the room temperature is normal.
5. Sudden fall in blood pressure levels.
6. Fainting or becoming unconscious.

Causes of postpartum hemorrhage:

  1. Uterine atony: This is a condition in which the uterus contracts and may lead to excessive bleeding. Infection in the placental tissue can also lead to postpartum hemorrhage.
  2. Trauma: This is a very common cause for postpartum hemorrhage. Sometimes, the uterus (womb), vagina, cervix (passage forming the lower end of the womb) and the perineum (area between the vulva and the anus) can get injured. These areas become vascular during the course of pregnancy and may rupture in the process of childbirth causing excessive bleeding.
  3. Tissue: At times, the whole placenta or fetus tissue does not come out of the body after childbirth. This can lead to profound blood loss resulting in postpartum hemorrhage.
  4. ThrombinThis is a disorder which occurs when there is excessive bleeding when the blood fails to clot inside the body.

How can you prevent postpartum haemorrage?

  1. Oxytocin is a substance which is used after the delivery of the baby. This prevents postpartum hemorrhage. It can be administered in the following ways :
    • As an injection which is directly injected into the blood stream.
    • After delivery, breastfeeding your baby can also trigger natural oxytocin. This occurs as encouraging the baby to suckle also stimulates the nipples which release oxytocin, thus preventing postpartum hemorrhage.
    • In the form of intravenous drips mixed in with important medications. IV drips can administer oxytocin along with other important fluids along with it.
  2. Uterine massage is also recommended to prevent postpartum hemorrhage. After delivery, massaging the uterus makes the muscles relax and contract. This reduces the risks of excessive bleeding.

A lot of women can also die due to excessive bleeding after childbirth, especially in developing countries including India. This is a cause for concern and proper care should be taken if you start experiencing these symptoms. In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

Yeast Infection In Women - Know More About It!

Yeast infections are caused due to the overgrowth of yeast, which is a fungus. This type of infection is also called as candidiasis. Most women in the world are likely to get infected with vaginal or vulvo-vaginal candidiasis at least once in their lifetime. The most common causative organism of this disease is Candida albicans. The other Candida species that might cause these are C. glabrata, C. parapsilosis, C. tropicalis, and C. krusei.
Sometimes, it becomes chronic and may appear 4-5 times in a year.

Other types of yeast infections
Yeast infections can be caused in other parts of the body as well. When yeast infections occur in the mouth, it is called thrush or oropharyngeal candidiasis. Yeast infections are mostly found in moist, warm areas such as armpits, genital area etc. This type is called cutaneous candidiasis. Most candida infections are not very harmful. However, if they reach the blood stream, it can result in fatality. This is called invasive candidiasis and can happen by inserting an infected catheter, etc.

What causes candidiasis?
Candidiasis is caused when the natural flora of the area is thrown off balance. The most common causes of candidiasis are:

  1. Obesity
  2. Diabetes
  3. Diseases such as HIV which suppress immunity
  4. Pregnancy
  5. Antibiotics, steroids and birth control pills
  6. Vaginal douching
  7. Using perfumed products such as soap and bubble baths
  8. Wearing tight clothing such as synthetic underwear and spandex that do not allow your genitals to breathe

Infertility In Women - A Major Cause of Concern!

Infertility In Women - A Major Cause of Concern!

Infertility refers to being able to get pregnant after one year of trying. Women who can get pregnant but are unable to stay pregnant are also termed as infertile. Ovulatory disorders are one of the most common reasons why women are unable to conceive and is presen in 30% of women suffering from infertility.

  1. Hormonal problems: Ovulation is linked with a complex balance of hormones and any disruption in the process can hinder ovulation. The disruption includes the fact that the ovaries are not producing normal follicles in which the eggs can mature. Ovulation is rare if the eggs are immature and there are no chances of fertilization. Polycystic ovary syndrome is the most common disorder responsible for infertility. Malfunction of the hypothalamus leading to failure in triggering hormonal stimulus to ovaries for egg maturation leading to immature eggs and ovarian failure. Malfunction of the pituitary gland leading to imbalance in hormonal secretion thus causing disturbance in ovulation. This can occur due to physical injury, a tumour or a chemical imbalance in the pituitary.
  2. Scarred ovaries: Ovulation failure can also be due to a physical damage to the ovaries. Invasive surgeries involving ovarian cysts leads to damaging or scarring of capsule of the ovary to become due to which follicles cannot mature leading to disruption of ovulation.
  3. Premature menopauseEarly menopause or premature menopause before the normal age means that the natural supply of eggs has been depleted. This is most common in extremely athletic women with a history of low body weight and extensive exercise.
  4. Follicle problems: Infertility is also caused due to non-ruptured follicle syndrome in which women who produce a normal follicle, with an egg inside of it, every month but the follicle fails to rupture. This leads to disruption of ovulation as the egg remains inside the ovary.
  5. Others: Treating female infertility by chemotherapy is next to premature ovarian failure by loss of primordial follicles. Sexually transmitted infections are a leading cause of infertility. Tobacco smoking is detrimental to the ovaries and the amount of damage is dependent upon the amount and length of time of exposure of smoke in the environment. Nicotine in cigarettes interfere with the body’s ability to create oestrogen, a hormone that regulates ovulation. In addition, blocked fallopian tubes due to pelvic inflammatory disease or surgery for an ectopic pregnancy also causes infertility. Infertility can also be due to physical problems with the uterus or fibroids of uterus where non-cancerous clumps of tissue and muscle on the walls of the uterus.

Quick Tips To Help You Deliver Your Baby With Ease!

Quick Tips To Help You Deliver Your Baby With Ease!

Pregnancy is one of the most exciting and anxious phase in a woman’s life. There is definitely an information overload from all sources i.e. family, friends, medical team, books, Internet, etc., that is dumped on the mother-to-be. The idea is to prepare her for the delivery. What needs to be borne in mind though is that each delivery is unique and there are no two women who have had the exact same experience.

However, it is good for the mother to know what to expect so that she is mentally prepared and not totally caught unawares when the actual scenes unfold. The following are the sequence of events that she should be aware of and watch out for:

  1. With the due date nearing, she should keep a watch for the water breaking. This is passing of fluid surrounding the baby and is usually colorless and odorless. However, if it is green or brown, it is an indication that something might be wrong. Immediate medical help should be sought in that case.
  2. Along with water breaking, contractions is the next thing to watch out for. This is due to the tightening and releasing of the uterus, indicating that the baby has begun to descend down towards the cervix. If these last for up to a minute, occur every five minutes, and persist for up to an hour, it is a clear indication that it is delivery time and you must head to the hospital.
  3. Two sensations very prominent during delivery are pain and pressure. The pressure is from the baby passing down the birth canal. As the cervix and the vaginal canal expand to allow passage of the baby, there would be a great deal of pain and pressure. It is not just the mother, even the baby exerts significant pressure to come out of the womb during labor.
  4. The process of the baby getting out of the womb is what is medically termed as labor and has three distinct stages to it:
    • The first stage has two parts to it i.e. an initial, gradual phase that may last for a few hours and a later, quicker phase. The rate of progress of delivery is steady.
    • The second stage usually lasts for about two hours, during which the cervix is minimally dilated and pushing begins. This stage lasts until the baby is out of the womb.
    • The third and the last stage is where the placenta is extracted and the umbilical cord is cut.

Some common problems you may expect include injury or tearing of the vagina or cervix, need for episiotomy, vomiting, passing of motion, anesthetic complications, etc. However, what would remain etched in the mother’s memory would be the first sight of the baby.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

6 Pregnancy Complications to Look Out For!

6 Pregnancy Complications to Look Out For!

Pregnancy is considered to be one of the most challenging and important phases in the life of a woman.

Pregnancy Complications are health problems that occur during pregnancy. They can involve the mother’s health, the baby’s health, or both. Some women have health problems before they become pregnant that could lead to complications. Other problems arise during the pregnancy. Keep in mind that whether a complication is common or rare, there are ways to manage problems that come up during pregnancy.

Some complications that might occur during pregnancy are discussed below:

  1. Severe Nausea and Vomiting: It is common for nausea and vomiting to occur during a pregnancy. In order to avoid this condition, one should consume several small meals throughout the day and completely avoid spicy and fatty foods.
  2. A persistent abdominal pain, severe headache, swelling and visual disturbances during the third trimester: This can be a fatal condition and often is a sign of high blood preeclampsia (pregnancy complication involving high blood pressure as well as damage to another organ system). It can be diagnosed early using good prenatal care which essentially comprises of frequent check-ups with the doctor and all the necessary treatment during pregnancy.
  3. Flu Symptoms: It is recommended that flu vaccine should be administered to pregnant women as they usually tend to develop the disease during their pregnancy.
  4. Gestational Diabetes: Gestational diabetes can increase the chance of a larger baby at birth and create delivery complications, increase your risk for high blood pressure and cause the baby to have blood sugar problems after birth. If you are diagnosed, it’s important to consult your gynecologist to control your blood sugar level, which can often be done through diet and exercise.
  5. Baby’s activity level significantly declines: Sometimes, the activity of a previously active baby might decline. This can be felt by reducing the number of the kicks by the baby. The doctor has specific equipment that aids in identifying and resolving the problem.
  6. Bleeding: Heavy bleeding accompanied by abdominal pain and menstrual-type cramps during the first trimester might indicate an ectopic pregnancy (embryo is implanted outside one’s uterus) or a miscarriage while occurrence in the third semester indicates placental abruption (characterized by the placenta separating from the womb’s walls). Any form of bleeding warrants the immediate attention of the doctor. Steps to avoid bleeding include bed rest, avoiding heavy work, and keeping yourself hydrated.

A Healthy Pregnancy-

The best way to ensure a healthy pregnancy is to focus on the things you can control and don’t obsess about what could happen. Take good care of yourself and your developing baby and talk with your healthcare provider when you have concerns.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

Blood Clots in Pregnancy - How To Prevent This Deadly Problem?

Blood Clots in Pregnancy - How To Prevent This Deadly Problem?

Women during pregnancy are more prone to blood clots. The occurrence of blood clots during pregnancy is more commonly known as DVT or deep-vein thrombosis in the medical world. Deep-vein thrombosis refers to a condition in which blood clots form in the veins of the pelvic region or legs. Blood clots during pregnancy definitely aggravate the risks associated with pregnancy. Women generally experience blood clots in the first three months of their pregnancy.

The symptoms of blood clot during pregnancy include:

  1. You may notice swelling in the calf and thigh region.
  2. Pain sensation in your pelvic and leg region.
  3. Feeling of pain in the legs while walking.
  4. If the condition is severe, then it may lead to chest pain or breathing troubles.

Treatment:

Deep-vein thrombosis or blood clot during pregnancy may become fatal in nature if it results in Pulmonary Embolism, where the blood vessels of the lungs get affected. Blood clot in pregnant women can be treated by prescribing an anticoagulant which helps to prevent the blood from clotting further.

Blood clot during pregnancy may be prevented in the following ways:

  • A healthy lifestyle can help you to prevent blood clots.
  • Exercising regularly is extremely beneficial for proper blood circulation and can also help you to prevent blood clots.
  • Do not lead a sedentary lifestyle; a sedentary lifestyle is pretty much always the menace.
  • Seeking a doctor’s advice at an initial stage is very important to avoid further complications such as heart attacks or miscarriage.

5 Reasons Your Urine Is Smelling Bad!

Advanced Infertility, MIS TRAINING, FICMCH, PGDS, MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, MBBS, Masters in Reproductive Medicine(UK)
Gynaecologist, Faridabad
5 Reasons Your Urine Is Smelling Bad!

Many people are embarrassed to talk about their urine colour or urine problem with anybody, including their doctor. But, what people always forget is that strong smelling urine and the change in the colour of the urine is a serious issue. Your urine colour directly tells you about your health, especially your inner body. So, without being embarrassed you should consult a doctor, if and when, you find foul odour in your urine. Following are some of the reasons for the causes of strong smelling urine.

  1. You are dehydrated: Urine is not supposed to leave odour. It should be odourless, but if you find strong smell in your urine, you should consult a doctor immediately. The most common reason of foul odour in your urine is dehydration. If the amount of water needed in your body is not enough then, there will be less water in your body as a result the waste products will not be diluted in water being more concentrated making the urine darker and more odour. But once you start drinking water, it should go normal. Normally, this kind of situations occur in early morning when your water intake is less or not at all. But drinking lot of water will solve this issue immediately.
  2. More alcohol or caffeine intake: If you are habituated to drink a lot of coffee then it may happen that you find strong smell of coffee in your urine. Although it is not very problematic yet it is healthy if you reduce the intake of coffee in your daily life in order to have a healthy digestive system. Not just coffee but even alcohol could be the reason of irregular or need to urinate a lot more than usual.
  3. Bacterial InfectionThere could be bacterial infection or kidney infection which could lead to strong smell of urine. In order to ensure you should go to a doctor and get important tests done. Then the doctor can suggest treatment according to your results and if all the results are normal then you could be suggested to maintain a balanced diet on regular basis.
  4. Imbalanced Diet: The problem can sometimes come from the use of certain vitamins from imbalances in your diet.
