Since your weight is more than what your Knees can bear, walking is better. Jogging might hurt your knee. Lose weight, then you can jog.

I am smoking from last 5 years. But now I m seeing his effect. I am trying to leave it but its so hard. I smoke too much you can say kinda chain smoker. So please help me out?

Chain smoking or not, this is a bad habit and has to stop immediately.There are some people who are on a reactive mode and will quit only after they have got a disease or reach the worst condition in their abuse. In addiction parlance this is called ?Hitting Rock Bottom?, that is, you will cease the abuse only when you have suffered the worst affect of the substance. Sometimes that stage may be a terminal stage and there is no turning back: it has become too late. You must live by the adage that ?Prevention is better than cure?. To quit do the following: When quitting, you must take one day at a time. If you look too far ahead you will get discouraged and will give up. If you sit and count the number of days you have given up, that will also focus too much on achievement. You must focus on the here and now, on that day to be precise. After all quitting is not that easy due to many factors. So even if you fail one day, you must try and try again. Very few people succeed in their first attempt. Your persistence will eventually pay off. The urge to discontinue is hampered by many factors but the worst of them is the conditioning. In fact these conditions can exist all through the day unlike other addictions. But your desire to want to stop is the most important factor. It is important to find out about the ill-effects of smoking to have a reason that alarms you about continuing in the habit. The information is really scary but true and you must remind yourself about this every day. The nicotine in tobacco smoke stimulates the heart beat to raise the blood pressure in no time at all. So you must avoid it like the plague: it is just very bad medicine for you. In fact it is highly toxic too. You will need to stop smoking or consuming any tobacco related items with immediate effect. You should start vigorous exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time. Do deep breathing exercises every time you feel like smoking (try Yoga), and replace the oral urge with some healthy food substitute to satiate the need. You may also take hard candy or chewing gum. If the urge is too strong, then use nicotine chewing gum or nicotine patches, for a little while until the smoking drive reduces, substantially. You may also join Smokers Anonymous in your city where the support is really extraordinary for like-minded people who are also in the same situation. Keep yourself occupied or engaged with interesting activities during the times when it is most tempting. Keep the company of non-smokers for some time i.e. at least for the first 21 days. Above all announce it to everyone that you have quit smoking. Here?s a piece of very good advice: even if you accidentally/willfully take a cigarette, it is not the end of the world ? you can start the cessation all over again. You must persevere with the best support until you defeat this addiction. Counseling is very useful in the initial stages and when temptations are at their highest.

1. Do regular exercise for 30 minutes daily like brisk walking 2. Reduce weight if overweight 3. Control diet a) avoid sweets, sugar/honey, full cream milk, milk product excess calorie and carbohydrate rich diet like white bread, cereal, rice, pasta b) avoid all refined food like maida, pasta, starchy food like rice, potato, bakery item, processed food, c) include more fiber like pulse, green leafy vegetable, cucumber, tomato, legume. D) avoid sweetened fruit like banana, mango, litchi, chickoo, grape etc. Can have fruits like guava, pineapple, papaya, orange, mousambi, strawberry, watermelon, pomegranate, a handful of walnut daily (akhrot) e) avoid white/polished rice, take unpolished rice like brown rice/wheat/jowar/ragi, moong and chana dal. F) avoid ghee/ butter./coconut oil/excess salt intake like papad/pickle. G) avoid red meat. Take fish/chicken. H) avoid alcohol and carbonated drinks like soft drink 4. Adhere to a strict diabetic diet by consulting dietitian 5. Monitor your fasting, pp blood sugars monthly and hba1c six monthly.

Shared nerves carry pain sensations from the lower abdomen and scrotum, which contains the testicles and other male reproductive structures. For this reason, pain originating in either location is often felt in both areas. Similarly, the causes of lower abdominal and testicular or scrotal pain can be due to abnormalities affecting structures in either location. Many conditions can lead to lower abdominal and scrotal pain, some of which can lead to permanent testicular damage if not treated quickly. Other causes may be- trauma to testes, torsion of testes, epididymitis or orchitis ,groin hernia, a stone or other obstruction of the ureter -- the tube that carries urine from the kidney to the bladder -- can lead to these symptoms. Lower abdominal or pelvic tumors and scar tissue formation in the space behind the abdominal cavity can also sometimes cause lower abdominal and scrotal pain. Appendicitis or a herniated disc in the low spine might be the culprit, although other symptoms usually make these conditions relatively obvious so It's important to see your doctor for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment if you experience lower abdominal and testicular pain. 1. Do a complete blood examination like cbc, esr, mantoux test, x ray chest, sputum examination for afb (3 samples) 2. Consult chest physician with report. 3 do warm saline gurgling 3-4 times daily 4. Avoid smoking if you smoke 5. If all the test reports are normal, it could be due to allergy. Do an allergy test after consulting allergist/immunologist and follow the advice and treatment.

I am 80 years old male, having almost normal health except mild Hypertension from the last 8/10 years. I am taking one tablets Embeta A.M daily in the morning and my B.P is almost in normal limits of about 80 to 135. I enjoy morning walk for about 40 minutes daily. From last two months I am having neck and lower head pain. My Cervical Spine X-ray AP and LAT view shows reduction in C5-6 and C6-7 Space. I am advised some exercises and Gabapin one tablet, Fitneuron one capsules and etoshine M R one tablet. And one pouch of Vitamin D3 each week. I have about 80 percent relieve. What should be the subsequent treatment for complete recovery in later life.

Dear Sir I hope the pain is not radiating into your arms. If not, you can consider asking your primary physician to taper and stop Gabapin over the next few weeks. Other medicines can be continued/tapered as per your physician. The most important measure that will help you in preventing this pain in future is regular stretching exercises of the neck (accompanied by hot fomentation). Nothing extra needs to be done. Do NOT wear a cervical collar, it will worsen your problem. Regards.

Dear Your s.uric acid is bit higher and may be the reason for pain in joints of leg. But if you r having entire leg pains then you need to get tests to see the blood flow to the legs and also your spine in low back region. However with the investigation you provided I would suggest you to take drugs for lowering uric acid and look out for relief.
