I have Sleeping problem. I have had spent very irregular life for 2006 to 10. Then it was in controlled for for 2 years 2011-12. After that my office time became normal and its 9am to 6pm. But if I go to bed at 11 also I will be able to sleep at 2 am 3am and sometime 4 am also. And need to wake up at 9-10 am. I don't have that much stress in my life. Office life is also cool. Pretty bad dark circles below my eyes. I fell frustrated for the same. I have tried for 3 months for getting a proper sleep. But its not happening. Please help that I can get back my healthy life.

Hello, I am giving you some tips for sound sleep and early awaking in morning follow advises given below: 1. Strict to sleep time schedule 2. Do regular physical activity 3. Regular meditation/ yoga, i can give you address of rajyoga meditation center near your house (this is free of cost) One thing i want to tell you that if you can relax your mind by Rajyoga meditation than you can reduce your sleep upto 5-6 hour and you will feel fresh and active 4. Avoid tea coffee after 7 pm 5. You can wash your face and feet 6. Avoid daytime sleep 7. You can use alarm and gradually reduce your waking time by 15 minutes Consult me if symptom persist

These are the best methods to cure pimples fast -: • To control the sebum (oily) secretion you should maintain your hormonal level. Because imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum (oil) production and causes pimples. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. Touch your face very less. • you can use a face pack of fuller's earth (multani mitti) with rose water one time in a day for seven days. It removes toxins from skin and remove pimples.,• • Give Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for 3-5 minutes daily. • You can take 2 teaspoon of SAAFI SYRUP daily for 1 month for clear face. • Take 20 gm powder of Black pepper and 50 gm of Amla powder. कढ़ी पौधे का वैज्ञानिक नाम मुराया कोइनेगी स्प्रेंग है और यह रूटासी परिवार के अंतर्गत आता है। यह भारत के मूल है और आमतौर पर उष्णकटिबंधीय और उपोष्णकटिबंधीय क्षेत्रों में पाया जाता है। चीन, ऑस्ट्रेलिया, नाइजीरिया और सीलोन जैसे अन्य देशों में इसकी खेती की जाती है। आम तौर पर कढ़ी पत्तों को स्वाद के लिए मसाले के रूप में इस्तेमाल किया जाता है। आयुर्वेद में, माना जाता है कि कढ़ी पत्तियों में कई औषधीय गुण हैं जैसे मधुमेह, एंटीऑक्सिडेंट, एंटीमायोटिक, विरोधी भड़काऊ, विरोधी कार्सिनोजेनिक और हेपेटो-सुरक्षात्मक (क्षति से जिगर को बचाने की क्षमता) गुण।

1. एनीमिया के लिए: कढ़ी पत्ते  लोहे  और  फोलिक  एसिड  का  समृद्ध  स्रोत  हैं। फोलिक एसिड मुख्य रूप से लौह अवशोषण के लिए जिम्मेदार है।
2. दस्त के लिए: कढ़ी पत्तों  अपच  समस्याओं  का  इलाज  करने  में  बहुत  प्रभावी  ढंग  से  मदद  करता  है। कढ़ी पत्तियों में मौजूद कारबज़ोल अल्कलॉइड्स में एंटी-अतिसार गुण होते हैं। कढ़ी पत्तों की चबाई दस्त और मितली का इलाज करने का एक अच्छा तरीका है।
3. पाचन के लिए: कढ़ी पत्तियों में कारमनेटिवे और हल्के रेचक गुण हैं और इस प्रकार, अपच के खिलाफ अत्यधिक प्रभावी हैं।
4. छाती और नाक में जमाव के लिए: यह विटामिन सी, ए और यौगिकों जैसे कैम्फेरोल जो कि एक बहुत ही शक्तिशाली एंटी-सूजन, विसंकुलक और एंटीऑक्सीडिव एजेंट है, के साथ पैक है। यदि आप एक गीली खाँसी, साइनसाइटिस या छाती में जमाव से पीड़ित हैं, कढ़ी पत्तियों से श्लेष्म के जमाव को रिलीज करने में मदद मिल सकती है।

7. कीमोथेरपी के दुष्प्रभावों को कम कर सकते हैं: कढ़ी पत्तों  में  कीमोथेरेपी  और  रेडियोथेरेपी  के  खराब  प्रभाव  से  शरीर  की  रक्षा  करने  की  अद्भुत  क्षमता  होती  है। यह न केवल क्रोमोसोम और अस्थि-मज्जा को नुकसान से बचाता है बल्कि शरीर में मुक्त कणों का उत्पादन भी रोकता है।
8. कैंसर के लिए: कढ़ी पत्तों में पाए जाने वाले रासायनिक घटकों जैसे फ़िनॉल ल्यूकेमिया, प्रोस्टेट और कोलोरेक्टल जैसे कैंसर से लड़ने में सहायक होते हैं।

How to Prepare for Labor and Childbirth?

Pain during labor is different for every woman. It ranges widely from woman to woman and even from pregnancy to pregnancy.

It is caused by contractions of the muscles of the uterus and by pressure on the cervix. It's often not the pain of each contraction on its own that women find the hardest, but the fact that the contractions keep coming and that as labor progresses, there is less time between contractions to relax.

To help with pain during labor here are some things you can start doing before or during pregnancy:

  • Educate yourself: Take a birth preparation course class. Ask questions to learn about the different stages of labor so you know what to expect. The better prepared you are the more choices you have during labor.
  • Regular exercise: Learn several effective techniques to manage pain during childbirth such as position changes and different breathing methods. Prenatal yoga helps strengthening the entire body, increases flexibility, gives you stamina and relaxes your mind. Join Lamaze classes being conducted at your hospital to educate yourself about the ways you can decrease your perception of pain during childbirth through relaxation techniques, breathing exercises or massage. Exercise regularly, but do not over do and stress yourself.
  • Find support: Ask your husband to actively participate along with you in the birth preparation classes. Take his support while you exercise. He too would feel involved.
  • Stay well nourished: Pay importance to your diet. Include all the necessary nutrients in your diet and avoid foods which are not recommended during pregnancy. Get in touch with a professional nutritionist to get your ideal diet chart designed.
  • Stay calm and positive: Negative thoughts make labor stressful and intensify the pain. Labor transforms you, but you need to harness your mental strengths and stay composed. People may push all kinds of suggestions on you during labor; listen but don't feel you have to go along with them. Choose what you feel comfortable with and find the best option for yourself.

Remember, your ability to endure the pain of has nothing to do with your worth as a mother. By preparing and educating yourself you can be ready to decide how to manage during labor and childbirth.

Your BMI is 29.2. You have to persist with a low carbohydrate and low fat high protein diet. Stop all cereals, sugar, bakery products and desserts. Take the white of 4 boiled eggs and lots of fruits and green vegetables and salads. Go for an hour long walk every day. If you don't loose weight soon you will develop diabetes and high BP. On 13.05. 15 coronary angiogram was done at ruby general hospital, kolkata and there was nothing in my heart i. E. My heart is clear. I am taking cholestrinum 3x tab (schwabey) thrice daily and acid benz 30/5 drops thrice daily. My last report (done on 09.05. 14 at r. N. Tagore international hospital of cardiac science) triglycerides was 663. And uric acid was 8.6. How many days may I continue this medicines. I am also taking 1 lemon with warm water in the morning and garlic also. Maintaining daily excercise not less than 30 mints.

Hello sir, as per your information your heart is fine, but your triglycerides and uric acid are very high. Along with medication you need some diet restrictions 1. Diet avoid meat/chicken/all types of dal/ oily food 2. Brisk walking 5 km a day about medicines, since when you are taking above medicines? keep 3 monthly check up of triglycerides and uric acid. Start lycopodium 30 3 times and check your levels. It will be best if you take treatment from proper homoeopath. Thank you.

Dear Lybrate User, Increasing weight does not mean that you will go fatty. In fact, extra fat serves as a precursor of many diseases. In order to increase your weight as well as stay healthy you have to increase the muscle mass of your body. Normally a muscle undergoes an increase in size when it gets hypertrophied due to weight training. Weight-training leads to the pumping of blood to the muscle resulting in increased protein synthesis in the muscles. This applies to every muscles of human body. So, weight training is a must to increase weight. Whenever a muscle gets hypertrophied it demands protein to expand. Here comes the need of protein supplement. The most effective protein supplement is WHEY protein. But kindly remember only taking supplement is not enough. You need to take those supplements according to a fixed schedule. For quicker & better results take 40 grams of whey just after waking from sleep at morning. Take another 20 grams of whey just 30 minutes before workout. Again take 40 grams of whey just after you have finished your workout. Kindly remember gaining weight is a time -taking process. So do not expect any result within fortnight.

These are hormonal pills your cycles can get disturbed with them still you should get your urine tested for pregnancy to rule it out

I am suffering from Rheumatoid arthritis and my doctor has given few medicines which also includes calpol 500 mg. The doctor has told me to take a tablet when I sense pain. Would it be wise to continue with this medicine as we know that paracetamols can cause more harm than good? The problem is that I regularly sense pain but hesitate before taking this medicine. The best time to eat fruits is first thing in the morning after a glass of water. Eating fruits right after a meal is not a great idea, as it may not be digested properly. The nutrients may not be absorbed properly either. You need to leave a gap of at least 30 minutes between a meal and a fruit snack. Ideally, one should eat fruits an hour before the meal or two hours after, if they have diabetes or any other digestive problem like acidity. This is because, sometimes, diabetes is accompanied with digestive problems.
