I have been suffering from anaemia for 3 years now? My weight has dropped with increased levels of dizziness. What should I do?

You must do several things correctly to gain weight. A healthy diet: this is the foundation of gaining weight. If you don't do this right, the other things you do won't be effective and could even be harmful. Follow the following tips:- · Pay attention to your health and food intake. · To increase your appetite, have a glass of lime water or 1 cardamom (elaichi) before your meal. · Have minimum 4 meals in a day. · Drink 1 glass of milk twice a day. · Try to enjoy your meals and gradually increase the quantity you eat every time. · A balance diet should have all essential nutrients in it. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It should include combination of Both Carbohydrates and Proteins for e.g. Oats with Milk or Poha/ Upma with a glass of milk. If you do not like milk have 1-2 egg whites in the morning along with your breakfast. · You need to focus on your protein intake : Increase your protein intake e.g. milk, dairy products- cheese, paneer, lentils (dals), nuts ( soya, peanuts, dry fruits ), pulses e.g. rajma, chole, kidney beans etc. sprouts. If you are a non-vegetarian, then you can have proteins by also eating eggs, chicken, fish. Make sure you are including at least 2 serving of any of these in your daily meal. · Lunch and dinner again should be a combination of Proteins, Carbohydrates and Fats which could have dal, roti, sabji/chicken, salad. · Please do have minimum 4 almonds or a small bowl of peanuts every day. · Please ensure that you drink at least 3 litres of water every day. Yes dear heredity, bad food habits, stress, lack of sleep, any infection..etc are common causes of hairfall...try the tips below for hair protection:: 1.Mix 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1 tablespoon mustard oil, and 1 cup yogurt. Apply this to the hair 30 minutes to 1 hour before washing the head and hair. 2.Soak 50 gm methi dana in 2 cups of water overnight, next day in the morning make the paste and apply on scalp for 15 minutes. 3..Mix powdered Indian gooseberry (amla) and sesame seeds in equal amounts. Take 1 teaspoon twice a day with water. 4.Massage with bhrigraj oil thrice a week. 5.Wash hair regularly 2-3 times a week with a mild shampoo. 6.Avoid scratching the scalp with hands or any other objects. 7.Avoid spicy, greasy, hot and penetrating foods, junk food, and aerated drinks. 8.Have food with good nutritive value; include fiber-rich foods, salads, fruits, and lentils. TIPS FOR HEALTHY LIVING : 1. Eat a balanced diet rich in proteins, minerals, vitamins, and fat. 2.Fill your diet with a wide range of fruits, vegetables, lean meats, fish, eggs, pulses, nuts, seeds, whole grains and naturally low fat dairy foods. 3.Don't skip breakfast. 4.Drink plenty of fluids and water. 5.Exercise is an extremely important factor in staying healthy so try to be active. 6.Make sure you get enough sleep ? it's an essential part of being healthy.While we're asleep, our bodies have that all-important time to repair.

Hi lybrate-user, glad that you asked this question. Some times the metabolism in the system is very fast. So you don't gain weight easily. Eat frequently. Also take up weight training to build on your muscles. Include a lot of protein rich foods in your diet like fish, grilled chicken, eggs, sprouts, nuts and oilseeds, paneer post the workout. You are still 26years, in a year or two with hormonal changes things should fall in place. All the bes.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

7 hours sleep is okay more sleep will make person dull one thing I want to tell you that if you can relax your mind by rajyoga meditation than you can reduce your sleep upto 5-6 hour and you will feel fresh and active.

Hi apply ketoconazole lotion on your scalp...Apply maha bhringraj oil on your scalp and massage then give hot water fomentation..1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep....take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day...take lots of proteins like soyabean...egg white.....etc...avoid tea...coffee...spicy food...fermented food...junk food....apply only ayurvedic shampoo on your scalp....do pranayama early morning...

It is usually psycological due to stress and strains of studies and exams take good nutrious diet lots of fresh leafy vegetables fruits regular stress buster exercises or yoga get thyroid tested. Iron tablets are good if there is anaemia caused by iron deficiency.

Follow these best tips to get in shape and loose weight.* body become over weight due to deposition of fatty tissues. First you should follow diet plan for weight loss. * in morning, take 2-3 chapattis witha bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of without cream milk after 2 hour of breakfast. *in lunch you can take a bowl of soupor salad. *in evening, you can take a cup of teawith glucose biscuits. *in dinner, you can take a bowl of fruits or 2 chapattis with a bowl of vegetables. * for thighs - work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. To reduce the tummy, * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * lie down on plain surface, put your hands on the back of head by folding your elbows, now move your head towads the knees try to touch your knees with forehead and then move back and lie down. Repeat it for 5-10 times daily for flat tummy. * do surya namaskar yoga everyday, as surya namaskar have 12 forms of yoga. Do it for in morning everyday to get in shape in short period. * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories.

first of all don't get irritated. Everybody in this world has gone through this problem. Just relax. Wash your face daily thrice a day with water mixed with lime and little salt. Keep your eyes closed while washing your face or else your eyes with burn. Wipe your face with soft towel and do not rub it hard. Do not burst your pimples. They will go away automatically. Keep your mind cool and focus on your studies which is going to help you forever. Drink lots of water and juices or chaas. Drink coconut water at least once a day. Keep your eyes closed for 10 mins in a day whenever you get time and relax. Let the thoughts come and go. You just keep your eyes closed. Keep 2 slices of cucumber over your eyes when you are relaxing. Eat healthy indian food like dal, rice, curd, 2 rotis without ghee and 1 vegetable with less oil and spice. Do not have spicy, oily food especially junk food like fries, fried pakodas, samosas or vadas. Eat light, eat simple, eat healthy and you will see the magic. Relax, don't worry, everything is going to be beautiful in your life, nothing will go wrong without your permission.

HI, For pimples take Tabs Hepar sulphuris pentarkan (DR WILMAR SHAWBE) 2tabs to be chewed twice a day for 1mth Tab biochemic Silicea 6X 4tabs to be chewed twice a day for 1mth and apply Avoid junkfood,spicy ,fried food.
