My relative has a 14 year old boy. He is suffering from urine fall on bed in night. Kindly resolve the problem.

Diploma in Child Health (DCH), MBBS
Pediatrician, Faridabad
Firstly urine r/e to be done to find out any evidence of infection. If urine examination is alright then see nearly at what time child passes urine on bed. Try to ask him to pass urine about half an hour before. In that way he will develop gradual bladder control. Pt. Need psychological support also. He is not to be felt let down if happens to pass urine on bed. Rather make him assure that nothing has happened wrong, you will be alright if you follow the above given advice. If still problem is not solved then medicines are to be given-like adiuretin nasal spray as per advice from doctor.

5 months baby should not be put on cereal but it should be started once he had completed 6 months of age. Baby requires exclusive breast feeding in first 6 months of life. Even water is not required irrespective of weather condition 2 anytime freshly prepared home made non chewable mashed food should be introduced like dal dalia khichri sujji ka halwa mashed banana 3 fruits juices soup can be supplemented to home made family food. 4 say big no to commercial baby food except in special circumstances like travel working mother.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user. The pulse polio is meant for herd immunity against polio. Your son would have received the required doses of poilo vaccine if his immunization schedule is up-to-date. Still giving pulse polio dose is also important as it gives herd immunity and helps the society/nation to remain polio free. Take care.

If baby is not allergic to lactose kindly don't give a baby any kind of other packaged milk. Normal cow milk will work for them and weaning food apart of milk.

the tes is to see if he has The MPS Diseases. The Mucopolysaccharidoses (MPSs) are rare genetic disorders in children and adults. They involve an abnormal storage of mucopolysaccharides, caused by the absence of a specific enzyme. Without the enzyme, the breakdown process of mucopolysaccharides is incomplete. Mucopolysaccharidoses are a group of metabolic disorders caused by the absence or malfunctioning of lysosomal enzymes needed to break down molecules called glycosaminoglycans.he age of onset and severity of Mucopolysaccharidosis type II (MPS II) differ depending on the form. Signs of severe MPS II usually begin between ages two and four. The symptoms of Hunter syndrome (MPS II) are generally not apparent at birth, but usually start to become noticeable after the first year of life.Mucopolysaccharidoses (MPS) and related diseases are genetic lysosomal storage diseases (LSD) caused by the body's inability to produce specific enzymes. Normally, the body uses enzymes to break down and recycle materials in cells.

You should better cancel your trip. At high altitude there is very low oxygen concentration in which children become cyanosed.
