To maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1. Exercise at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don’t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, White rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.

Vaginal Piercing - What the Possible Risks Involved?

Piercing is a form of body ornamentation. It involves the use of needles to pierce through the skin and attach a piece of jewellery to the skin. The purpose of piercing is to beautify and in case of genital piercing, it comes with the additional perks of sexual stimulation. However, this completely depends on individual preference. In the female genital anatomy, several parts are suitable for piercing. This includes the clitoral hood, the labia and the vulva vestibule.

How piercing should be done?
1. The skin around the area where the piercing is to be done must be cleaned with antiseptic.
2. A topical anaesthetic may be applied to temporarily numb the area to be pierced. This helps to control pain.
3. Any piercing must be carried out by a licensed, well-practised professional.
4. Piercing must be done with the use of new, unused, sterilized needles, which are easily disposable.
5. After-care must be provided immediately after the piercing. This includes the application of medicated healing creams, or an ice pack that relieves the pain of piercing. Typically a piercing should heal completely by the sixth week.

Risks associated with vaginal piercing
1. Wrong technique of piercing can lead to uncontrollable bleeding and wounds.
2. Poor placement of jewellery can cause the piercing to heal very slowly and painfully.
3. Poor sterilization of needles and unhygienic methods can cause severe skin infections and other complications.
4. Tearing of skin or sagging of the clitoral hood, or labia can occur due to the improper weight of the jewellery placed.
5. Spread of genital disease may occur if the piercer does not use gloves or antiseptic during the procedure.

Never opt for a piercing just because your friends are getting it done. A healthy method of getting pierced involves an understanding of your anatomy, skin type, tolerance of certain kinds of metal on your skin and extremely hygienic conditions. It sure is fashionable and may appeal to people with a different sense of aesthetics, but you must never ignore the risks. Do a thorough background check of the piercer you would like to visit and the possible after care products that you can use. Am 28 years old. Having frequent urinating. When I go to doctor I found grade 1 prostatomegaly with high pvru. And frequency also low. Doctor say me prostate enlarge is very mild. Here to find out how the pvru is high. I take 3 month Alfoo10 & 15 days alfusin within 1 year. And the problem not solve & last 3 month I found my iron also infection. From 1 to 2 year my urin colour is also yellow. What should I do.

Frequency of urination may be because of UTI, or urine infection, get culture sensitivity done and take a course of antibiotics. Get urine routine microscopy also done. Grade I prostatomegaly may be benign please get it treated by urologist. You can also get PSA levels checked.

Women handle a lot, from work to family and society to their own health. They also try to eat better foods, lead a healthy lifestyle and exercise regularly as well. But despite trying their best, most women tend to make a few mistakes when it comes to their health. These mistakes are small and not too noticeable, but they can be quite harmful in the long run.

Make them aware about these common health mistakes now!

1. Not Drinking enough water: Ask any woman and she will probably know that she must drink 7-8 glasses of water every day. But most women don’t actually follow the rule and commit this sinful mistake. Drinking less water will make you dehydrated and leave you feeling weak. At the same time, it can make them prone to infections, including UTI and may make them cranky. Women must incorporate water-rich foods in their daily diet and ensure drinking more water.

2. Skipping Meals: Sometimes, women are just too busy to eat a meal and think that can cover up with a bigger lunch or bigger dinner later. Skipping meals can slow down body’s metabolism and cause overeating. This in turn can result in weight-gain, not to forget a variety of serious diseases. Eating more whole foods, beans, seeds, fruits and vegetables revs up metabolism.

3. Not eating enough protein: A lot of women are overweight these days because they make the common mistake of skipping protein. In their attempt to stay slimmer or lose weight, they avoid eating vegetarian or non-vegetarian sources of protein, which can reduce muscle mass and make one overweight. Plus, when women don’t eat protein, they tend to gorge on carbohydrates, which can increase their blood sugar spike and result in more hunger throughout the day.

4. Not getting enough sleep: Majority of women in the country fail to get enough sleep. Handling a variety of responsibilities and roles may result in getting interrupted and lesser sleep, which can cause premature ageing. It is recommended that adults, including men should get a minimum of 7 hours of sleep every single day.

5. Not enough calcium: Not having enough calcium in your diet may lead to osteoporosis. Women must not only avoid skipping milk products and foods that are otherwise rich in calcium, but also get enough calcium through supplements once they cross 35 years of age.

Hello- If pregnant thn it will come positive only after ten days of missed period, so your test are unreliable presently. Repeat them after a week to get the exact confirmation.

Thyroid sab ko hora hai. But aap ka thyroid kum kaam kar raha hair. Aap salt kum karo. Khana time pe khao. Subhah theek 5.30am ko ugh kar nimbu pani peelo. Aur, har 3 change pe khao. But sugar or salt avoid kar me koshish karo. Yoga seekh jao to permanent aap ka thyroid theek ho jaayega. Positive sochne se bahut madad ho sakti hair. You can heal your life yeh book padho.

Mr. Lybrate-user, you have not mentioned his height and weight to find out what is his bmi. Plus it would have been better if you had mentioned his blood glucose (fbs< pp & hba1c%) and bp readings. If a person is of 60 plus, then eating 1 to 2 roti per meal is absolutely fine, unless a person does strenuous exercise or excess physical activity. Sometimes if bllod glucose is not in proper control there is a possibility of the person feeling hungry all the while. Ideally when in control fbs -should be ccloser to 100 mg, pp between 150 to 160 mg hba1c%<7. And bp 130/30 mm hg. So please come back with those details. Thanks.

Pt on akt treatment which is helpful. Pulmonary tuberculosis is curable if taking proper treatment, and proper diet, and regular checkups. The cough, asthma, fever are part of tb. Don't take cold water. Cold food.

A glass of milk with honey has about 100-150 calories. ----- In one day an average man needs about 2000 calories to maintain his weight. No + No -.So 100 calories compared to 2000 needed in a day does not contribute to weight loss or weight gain. ---- Neither milk nor honey has got any special properties for gain or loss. These are as good as rice or roti or a fruit.

Healthy body in healthy mind! so decide first that you will find time daily for exercise for 1/2 an hour. Exposure to sun for 10- 30 minutes is necessary for our vitamin d requirement. So do your work sitting in sun or find time in between your job hours for walk in sun light. Key to heart as well as key to health is through stomach that too healthy eating habits. Take less roti almost 1per meal. More natural juices and water.

While passing urine I feel hard to pass urine through penis & urine pressure is also low & quantity is less, but when I take naftopidil 50 mg (nafodil) I feel somewhat comfortable while passing urine also flow pressure & quantity of urine increases & my stomach bulging is redused (i dont have stone problem)please suggest.

Please mention your age. On the basis of your history you are suffering from benign prostatic hypertrophy. You have to take medicine regularly. If symptoms are not relieved then you go for surgical procedure.
