I am 21 year male, i've sensitivity problem in my teeth! I can't even drink normal water! what should I do?

BDS
Dentist, Bangalore
You can try following tips- -brush and floss regularly. Use proper brushing and flossing techniques to thoroughly clean all parts of your teeth and mouth. -use a soft-bristled toothbrush. Brush gently and carefully around the gum line so you don? t remove gum tissue. -use a toothpaste for sensitive teeth. Several brands are available. Regular use should make teeth less sensitive. You may need to try several brands to find the product that works best for you. Another tip: spread a thin layer on the exposed tooth roots with your finger or a q-tip before you go to bed. Use a fluoridated toothpaste, not a tartar control one. -avoid lots of highly acidic foods and drinks. -use fluoridated dental products. Using a fluoridated mouth rinse daily can decrease sensitivity. -don? t grind your teeth. Use a mouth guard at night. -see your dentist every 6 months (or sooner, depending on your condition). If you still have discomfort, talk to your dentist. There may be a procedure that can help. He might recommend: -white fillings (bonding) to cover exposed root surfaces -fluoride varnishes applied to the exposed root surface -dentin sealers applied to the exposed root surface.

Hey bad breath can have many reasons like intraoral i.e. No sufficient cleaning of teeth and tongue and some infections. Or can have extraoral causes like GIT disturbances, respiratory tract infections etc. So get your complete check up done. And don't forget to brush twice daily and clean your tongue.

Root canal treatment is the best option where you can save our own teeth. It includes removal of infected pulp and restoring it with medicated material. It is the permanent solution for decayed tooth.

Tooth decay/ cavity in the last tooth of lower teeth set. What treatment should I take.

BDS CPD(PPE)
Dentist, Ghaziabad
Tooth decay/ cavity in the last tooth of lower teeth set. What treatment should I take.
Some cavities in third molars can be repaired by placing a dental filling. If a cavity does form, it's possible that the wisdom tooth can be repaired by way of placing a filling, just like with any other tooth. This would be especially true in those cases where the amount of decay is relatively small. The cavity is found on a part of the tooth that's readily accessible. Of course, these conditions don't always exist. Sometimes pulling the tooth is a better solution. In some situations, I feel that extracting the tooth makes a better choice than restoring it where repair may not be possible. In some instances, the decay may be situated in such an awkward location that the dentist finds their access to it is extremely limited, if not impossible. Here are some reasons to remove wisdom teeth. Overview ,Pain ,Pathology ,Pericoronitis (infection) ,Tooth Decay, Gum Diseases. It's easy enough to imagine that if the area has been difficult to clean with a toothbrush and floss that it would be equally inaccessible when the dentist's instruments are used. If so, the tooth should be extracted. I hope it will help you. Thank you.

How ca I whiten my teeth in home without consulting doctor please give me the quick answer.
Use whitening toothpaste such as snowdent twice daily for 3 months. It might lighten your teeth by only one shade. If your not satissfied with its results you'll require assistance by dentist.
