I am getting knee pain. I can't stand continuously. I can't kneel down even a minute.

Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment knee is applied warm water followed by the immediate application of the knee with ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation.

Hi I am 32 years old mother of one kid. I am a banker by profession. I am experiencing lower back pain from 10-15 days. My work profile is such that I spend most of my time sitting and working on computer. I spend 8-9 hours daily at office, most of the time sitting in front of computer. I leave home at 8: 30am and reach by 8: 30-9: 00 p. M. Daily. One more thing I am a lazy bug and don't exercise. Please advise.

Hello Start physiotherapy treatment and learn posture care/ spine exercise. You should wear mid thigh compression stockings especially designed for varcisose veins.Whats your profession? Avoid standing at one place for long duration.Go on walks on an even surface and do leg elevation exercises.

U am having back pain and neck pain from past many years. I am not able to sleep properly I can't sit for long. What should I do or whom I should consult. Please reply.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hi my spouse is suffering from lower back pain from last one and half months. MRI is done and it shows impression: lumbar spondylosis with multilevel disc degeneration, disc protrusion and diffuse bulge. And she is talking Gabaneuron 300 mg and Osteovin D3 also Ashwagandha from last 1 month but she has still in pain mostly near rectum area. Please suggest me the medicine for her treatment also she is in Lactation to a 1 year baby.

I would like to suggest don't bend forward and don't do exercise as of now, and mean time change your bed and lying into floor. Apply hot pack thrice a day and followed by any pain gel just apply but don't do massage. Avoid sitting on the floor and cross sitting, avoid indian toilet and take shower bath don't bend continues. Having knee pain since 2 weeks. Cannot bend knee while walking. Ankle swelling is also there. Tried having cartigen and rumalaya. Having this problem since 15 years but last 2 weeks is really painful. He cannot walk properly. Please suggest something. Thanks in advance.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

I am facing severe pain in my legs and is it any sign of arthritis. I face problems walking and the gap between my legs is minimum causing anal portion to rise up from central portion between legs. When I wake up I feel swollen pain in legs in morning.

Sir I am 24 year old male and I am suffering from hearing loss from last 5 years mainly in the high frequency region. Please tell me some solution or exercises to recover from this problem. Kindly show me a photograph & digital x rays of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days. Bio d3 max 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I am 30 year old. Having back pain frequently while riding the bike. This starts while last month onwards. Inspected the bike having any shock absorber problems. But not having any problems. Requires detailed examination and investigation. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.
